Dark themes? - HTC U11+ Questions & Answers

I can't find any dark themes....!
Without rooting, does anyone know of any?
It's mainly the notification shade, and dialer that is just too bright. I'm used to the dark dialer on the M7
Dark messaging app would be good too
Cheers

These work for me Andromeda,
textra and simple dialer from play store

Thanks I'll check them out
I was hoping for a theme to apply, through HTC, so no apps to add, or ADB etc (I'm being lazy....!)

[MOD] [Substratum] V5.2 Black Theme for OOS / OB

Description
-Black notifications with themed text
-Changed accent colors
-Optional Rounded recents
-Customizable quick settings panel
-Orange battery saver bar is gone
-Themed quick settings
-Lockscreen clock color
-Number of quick setting columns
HOW TO INSTALL
-You must have Substratum installed from Google Playstore
-Download and install latest BlackTheme Apk
-Download and flash Notification Text Color for your Oos version
-Setup the substratum apk and you're good to go
WARNING!!!
Theming Android System in substratum will result in the following issues:
-When holding down the power button to open the reboot menu, your phone will do a soft reboot instead of the reboot menu appearing. I'd recommend using a Qs tile to open your boot menu instead.
-If you try to uninstall an Android System overlay and reboot, your phone will go into bootloop. Flash AndroidSystemUninstall.zip after uninstalling to prevent a bootloop.

Just download the apk you want, place it on your sdcard or internal storage. On your phone go to my files>sdcard or internal storage>tap the file and select install. It will say something like are you sure and you will take you to security>unknown sources> push that tab to the right and go on with the installation. When and if you want to uninstall go to menu>settings>apps>look for the apk you installed and then uninstall it.

Rooted method would be recompiling framework-res and push it back in system.
The colors.xml need to be changed.

*- notification_title_color = main notif text color
- notification_info_color = affects time & " X new messages" header
- notification_text_color = notif content color.
- notification_default_color = affects notif action buttons & non-accent app name & icon color

eNubiX is really nice, thank you!
I think I should try the red one but I am now sick of restarting my phone. I do agree that you should have provided screenshots.
Thanks again for sharing them!
I think I know why no one wanted to put up the screenshots. These APKs will darken your notifications, but does not actually change them. They are still all the black background with hard-to-read dark grey writing and teal accents. I was really hoping for notifications with a black background with white writing and red highlights.
What the APKs did do was change my settings area, but everything does that. I'm attaching the 3 screenshots so everyone can see.
I hope we get a true way to change the background, text and accent color on our notifications some day. It seems so simple it should be part of stock Android.

Theming the OOS Pie Navbar

Hello !
Just a simple question : Has anyone found a Substratum theme compatible with OOS 9, or any other way to theme the Navigation Bar (Three buttons mode) ? I'm looking for a way to change it to the old Nexus 4/5 navbar.
But until now, no luck !

Just checked it this morning, it works, but the buttons don't really scale properly, and whn you have a white navbar, the buttons don't turn black.
Btw, all themes do not work from what it looks like, a lot of themes are specified as "not working on Samsung Experience and OxygenOS".
I am using flux, flux white or vacoom and they work great
Bottom left substratum module works great on Samsung and oxygen

Oh, that sounds nice ! What I'm trying to achieve is simply the good old Android stock navbar from 4.0 to 4.4, aka the Nexus Navbar !
Albeit, with the same button size as the current stock Lollipop through Pie navbar. The old one was really big.

I'm talking about size because I bought your app, and it seems there is a problem regarding button size

Substratum List

Figured we could get this going, seeing as only the fingerprint substratum theme is listed here.
What themes are you using with the OP7P successfully?
Also, are there any that change some system UI elements, like center clock for example?
Pitch Black. Works perfectly for me except for Clock and Messages (blacked out but no accent colour seems to load).
I had tried VaLeRie which usually works with OOS but it just seemed to keep restarting the systemui, will wait to see if the dev confirms updated for OP7Pro, more difficult now that G+ got the Thanos snap.
RENOVATE ICE will let you move the clock as well as other modifications.
You all should check out Swift Installer on the Play Store. It's a Substratum theme, but with a lot more options.

This. Best money I ever spent.
I use a combination of themes
Belo for everything except system ui and settings as it's not officially compatible with OOS
Flux white to fill in the gaps Belo left
And a couple of overlays from Outline
Flux, Flux White, Swift Dark, and Swift Black. All work nice.
