after wiping delvac and just before rebooting system
but it reboot into cwm

Ok, first of all, i would suggest you to use Cosmic Rom and latest version of twrp for the i8262.
TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...recovery-twrp-3-0-2-0-samsung-galaxy-t3468405 (Download the New Version.)
Cosmic Rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...osmic-rom-smooth-fast-stylish-kitkat-t2909037 (download the update too)
After that flash TWRP using your CWM.
Now first make sure all the data is properly backed up. Also keep these files in your SD Card.(use a reader or insert it another device and transfer it anyhow. Or you can use adb push to push your file to device after step 1.)
1st go to Wipe and advanced wipe and tick Internal Memory(just to make sure nothing is left that is causing problem), cache and delvik cache.
2nd Now go to Install, and select Cosmic Rom, now click add more zips to queue. Now select the update file (Optional: you can even add the SuperSu file now) and flash them.
3rd now clear cache and dalvik cache and go to reboot and click system.(options may wary as i dont remember them correctly)
4th Now enjoy this rom and click thanks if i helped
5th if it still booted in recovery than something is damm wrong with phone
FYI- I have written this answer while commuting so i dont remember the options correctly. Also sorry for my terrible English and feel free to DM me any query.

My SGR can't start

Hello, friends!
I have a big problem with my Samsung Galaxy R, here is what happened:
I have used BlueBerry Rom V1 on Android 4.0.4 Kernel, but tried to install 4.2.2 Avatar ROM - zip via CWM. It shows me that everything is ok, reboot the phone and after that - I only see the Avatar screen but phone doesn't load. I load download mode and install new ROM via Odin, but the same thing happened - everything is ok, the ROM is installed successfully, I see the starting screen with Samsung logo, but that's all. It doesn't want to start - I wait, and wait, and nothing.
Here are some points that maybe are important:
- When I first install Android 4.0.4 Kernel I swap internal (4GB) with external SD (32GB) - my SD card become phone memory. After that many problems happened. I think that SD card I bought is not good quality and all the files I copy on the SD card (recognized as USB phone memory), won't open. For example when I make camera photos and save them to this card, I can't open them after that. When use the internal (4GB memory, recognized as 'external sd'), there is no problem.
- For this reason I copy the Avatar ROM .zip file both to external and internal sd card. So when I choose install from sd card (unlike the phone, CWM don't recognize the external 32 SD card as internal) - I choose the zip file, and immediately receive an error - bad file. So I was unable to install the Avatar ROM via CWM with the standard option "install zip from sdcard". I choose "install zip from internal memory" and then choose the zip file. As I said - everything was successful, until I realize that the phone doesn't want to load.
I am sorry for my bad English and hope you will understand my problem. I tried with Kies Firmware Emergency Firmware recovery, but it is said that I need recovery code. Also tried with Kies Firmware Upgrade & Installation, but nothing happened.
I really hope that here can find somebody who will help me. Thank you in advance!

At This Stage, You should enter into recovery mode (hope you know key combination) and do a factory reset.
Enter Download Mode->Flash Stock Ics via odin->enter into recovery->do Factory Reset It should boot then..
To Avoid Confusion, remove your 32Gb memory card and do flashing.
Hope it Helps..

yes.both have brick bug in kernels.
whenever i installed stock ics via odin after installing custom rom, my phone entered into bootloop. it stuck to samsung logo.
since stock recovery doesnt come up with more options, only thing i could do was factory reset and it booted then, hence suggested.
Are following steps safe?
-flashing stock ics
-flashing cwm 4.0.0.2 via odin
-factory reset
-reboot
if not then, what is the safe solution?

What if this kernel doesnot exist on sdcard. AKAIK only way to flash this kernel is through recovery like CWM,philZ, (installing from sdcard).
when i faced this problem, i didnt have ardatdat's kernel zip file in sdcard.

You can push it using adb or mount USB storage and move it.

why my phone auto restarting ?

I installed Glass Rom on my phone,( all the functions are working fine. ). suddenly phone got not responding ( on that time, im browsing on internet ). i try to power off but its also not working. then i removed the battery and switch on it again . but it stuck on boot logo. i try to flash firmware via odin, its successfully completed, but its automatically rebooting after samsung logo. ( i wiped cache & data after flashing ). then i try to restore backup via CWM. but result is same now its showing like that,
error mounting data
skipping formatting
can't mount data
when i try to mount / wipe data via CWM it gets reboot automatically what i do ?

How could he go to the settings if the phone doesn't even boot to android ?
Solved, but i dont know how ?
i done it through steps
1. battery, sim card, memory card removed and kept for one day ( simply i use these items on another phone )
2. charged 100 %
3. insert a new memory card with cwm file & flashable zip
4. stock rom flashed via odin ( still restarting )
5. wipe cache
6. update from zip - cwm
7. restored one of very old back up file
8. rebooted
phone start with old bakup (compact kernel)
9. flashed via odin again ( stock rom )
then it work normally
Glad you fixed it mate. Hope this doesn't happen every time you flash a new rom...

I got S3 mini (i8200) installed deodexed PreRooted Rom without formating as it's the same version (4.2) opened
SuperSu asked for binary update I choosed the normal way at first but it failed so I choosed cwm/twrp method the device booted to recovery successfully but only to recovery so i formated system&data partitions reinstalled the rom but still boot only to recovery next i opened odin to reinstall the stock firmware but odin failed to setup connection with different caples and different laptops but then i noticed it's (i8200n) firmware not (i8200) the one i have
Now prob is the device isn't booting to any thing just a black screen no light no vib no recovery no download mode no thing :crying:

Really wierd soft-brick on gt-p3113

hi folks,
My device was on cm11 and I wanted to try the slim6 rom and the new TWRP update for the recovery. I tried the TRWP unified version of Andi but after the flash succeded , everything from the tablet (Rom, data, system, etc..) was completly erased. Now the new recovery dosent read anything, even if I put a SD card with the files to flash. I tried to flash a another recovery with odin but the odin program freeze when I select the recovery . I can't find any working links for stock firmware and the one from sammobile crash most of the time before the end.
Any ideas of what happened on my device ?

GT-N8010 Stuck on linageOS bootscreen

Hi,
It has been a while since ive dealt with custom roms and im wondering if im forgetting something, what im experiencing is that no matter which linageOS rom i install i get stuck for hours on end on the linageOS booting screen. Ive been wondering if theres something like a verbose boot that could show me what is happening when booting. What ive been doing is Install the rom (wipve dev/cache) then install gapps (nano or full) then wipe dev/cahce and still getting the same result every single time.
Now i dont know how to proceed from here, my conclusion is either im doing something completely wrong or this device is not compatible with the 8013 roms however it says 801X all the files say 8013 after youve downloaded them. If another brain could shed some light on this that would be greatly appreciated
Greetings,
Jules
Firgured out my issue it was due to having TWRP 2.8 instead of 3.0, somehow TWRP cant flash it properly on version 3.
I'm havng the same problem, or was. For me too it has been awhile! I was able to boot finally by following these steps:
1. advanced wipe, everything but my ext sd card
2. install os rom zip
3. install gapps zip
4. reboot by selecting do NOT install supersu root or whatever it offered
Now though I'm in and can't download chrome though the play store so I'm about to reflash the stock rom gapps rather than the pico gapps.
just saw your reply - strange as i'm using 2.8 and can't figure out how to update my twrp as fastboot totally freezes
TWRP see twrp thread in development .
or twrp.me

@JJEgan when you say twrp updates via zip or tar, is this an automatic update? i also cannot seem to get past the lineage boot screen so not sure how to update it unless i can just drop it on the sd card.
No you update the file via Odin or TWRP .

Thanks. @JJEgan I was hoping you might be able to advise on my issue?
I have twrp 2.8 installed from when Blisspop was installed in 2015. It allowed me to wipe and proceed.
Using twrp i then installed Lineage lineage-14.1-20181103-TESTING-n8013, addonsu-14.1-arm-signed and open_gapps-arm-7.1-stock-20190403. These are the things I was able to make a guess that I needed based on reading here.
Problem: stuck at Lineage's logo boot screen
Mistakes I think I made from further reading:
- twrp 3.0 should be used to install ROM
- smaller gapps suite (nano) should be used
Obstacles:
- I can boot the 8013 to Odin Screen. I have Odin running on Windows 10. I have the driver for the 8013 installed in Windows that allowed me to drop the Rom and stuff onto the SD card. However, when I boot into Odin, nothing happens in Odin in Windows.
- Not sure what version of TWRP is really apporpriate
And overall, I'm just guessing about all of this. I understand "the answers are here" but there are millions of answers and I'm having problems deciphering which ones are correct.
Thank you so much. I would be most appreciative if you could point me to the correct twrp for the GT-N8013 and a guide to how to install it via Odin when TWRP is already present and if my other research is correct.
Either update through TWRP as twrp image or via Odin as TAR file .
<However, when I boot into Odin, nothing happens in Odin in Windows. >
You open Odin on windows put tar file in correct slot .
Boot to Download mode on tablet then connect usb cable
Odin press start.
