Root for 5.1.1 N910C

Note 4 N910C 5.1.1 Root​
This Package roots you Note 4 with 5.1.1 rom. To use this root make sure you have 5.0.1 Bootloader installed or you will have bootloop! This package Removes Knox and Installs SuperSu,Busybox,5.0.1 Modem and Modded googymax n4 kernel.
Note: this package installs 5.0.1 modem for N910C so dont use it on any other modells!! only for devs at the moment because instable!!
How to use:
1: Download the flashable zip
2: Load it on your phone
3: Install 5.0.1 Bootloader with odin and reboot in recovery (when you allready have this go to step 4)
4: install the zip you downloaded above
5: reboot

ok. I think we will se the infamous HOW DO WE MAKE THIS WORK THINGY type of question will arrive... so i make this guide...
1. Download and Flash the said modified Googy kernel via cwm or twrp and then reboot to download mode.
2. Download old 5.01 bootloader and flash it via odin in the BL section.

3. odin will auto restrat your device. if you see the blank screen after samsung logo. just pull out your batt and start your device again.

i tested it with this rom and works you only need 5.0.1 bootloader. fingerprint works then too

if you formatt system after the wipe wont it clear the internal memory aswel as i did all wipe apart from the format as didnt wana loose nothing but stuck on boot splash screen

it wiped the system. when you dont wipe= no boot

Hi @erfanoabdi, just for your info.. Tried MagiskSU on stock kernel couldn't acquire root but tried with latest TurboZ and its worked.. Now fully rooted which passes SafetyNet as well..

Damn after a reboot SafetyNet failed but everything else works..

If anyone asks why the kernel is necessary when mounting system as R/W.
This is because by default, dm-verity is enabled, and will prevent the phone from booting if it detects an unauthorized change in the system partition. Flashing the kernel will disable dm-verity, which makes it a must if you're going to be using the stock ROM but plan on making changes to the system via root access and whatnot.
If you're going to flash a custom ROM, many already come with their own kernel which disables dm-verity (and forced encryption), so flashing a custom kernel that disables it isn't needed if the ROM already has one (it most likely does). However, I do still recommend that you flash a custom kernel on the stock ROM anyway as it makes it less painful if you choose to go back to a stock ROM as you don't need to flash an entire factory image* just to make your phone work due to dm-verity being an ass. It also gives better performance, so it's quite a win-win.
* - You may be able to get around this by just flashing the boot image and then installing the kernel, but I have not tested this.

I am just curious to know. - is this a requirement for N?
Granted, I am on MM and not N, but managed to get phh's supersu installled and working without modifying the kernel.
I just flashed TWRP and installed su from there, went into playstore and installed phh's superuser.
No problem so far - all mods are working fine.

Yes,
For this systemless, Only kernel needs to be based on MM (which is not available right now)
On mm you can also flash forcedsystem superSU (available in XDA) with force encryption and dm-verify Disabler patch (available in motoZ forum) only if you want chainfire's superSU
But your phh's superuser is working too

Yes you need to reflash stock boot.img from firmware's (or your TWRP backup)

ok then i dont have a twrp back up before rooting the phone so i guess i have to flash the stock boot.img by fastboot mode from original firmware

excuse me, I am in the nougat version that you mention in the main post, but I don't know where to look for the stock boot partition or get the right one, please can you tell me?

I've installed TWRP, I then flashed the TurboZ Stock kernel and it automatically rebooted.
Now it's stuck at the screen
"Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted
...bla bla bla....
Your device will boot in 5 seconds"
I've tried living it there for hours without any luck.
I've tried flashing TurboZ Stock kernel again but with the same result.
What do I do now?

Thanks for the advice, but it didn't work, it's still stuck at "Your device will boot in 5 seconds."
I forgot to mention that the system is encrypted. Does this change things?
I've tried to restore a previous TWRP backup to do a factory reset but when it start up it ask for the password but...there is not keyboard!!!

but it could also be the google lock .

Your twrp backup should save you..... That happened most likely cause you flashed twrp without OEM unlocked set in developer settings

it happend because you have to wipe and after wiping the developer options are reset ... no tutorial specifically mentions to enable oem unlock again after rooting ...

You would have to flash stock rom in Odin then go threw the setup process go into developer settings activate the oem unlock twrp and then you should be fine...

If it's the one you was just using you should be good to go if it's an older one it could not work cuss bootloader locks after certain versions and you can only go up [emoji115]

HOLY **** ! it worked
i ONLY flashed AP btw (i installed twrp and magisk to AP ), i didnt flash the other files.
Then it installed
restartet
upgraded system
went into recovery
and then i had to just reboot .. the apps were prepared and istalled and everything is back to normal, just magisk, twrp and xposed are gone ...
NOW IS THERE A WAY TO COMPLETELY DISABLE FPR checking so this can never happen again ???

edit: thank you so much for ensuring me to just do it ,. i was hesitant becasue i read a lot of horror stories here !

mods please put a [SOLVED] in the thread title ,
i think many people fail because BL=Bootloader cannot be flashed when frp bootloop is happening and they try to install all modules at once and then give up or go for unorthodox methods and hardbrick

Fp not working

System update - veryfication failed over ota. Installs via fastboot but phone do not show when somone calls only ringtone plays but nothing on the screen. New version broken?

Yes

After using all available rom for motorola one fusion plus I can say that this rom is more stable and can use as daily driver.
Everything working fine.. Only one problem is widevine decrease to l3... And i think its bacoz of bootloader unlock.
Banking app and UPI aap working fine.. Without magisk.. Root.
But i root my device and by just hide root all app works fine.. Bt in new canary update of magisk which remove many features....ie magisk hide. And module section.. Now cts failed with root.. But u can fix by enabling zygisk and it will work fine..
Only sbi yono don't work with root... Bt yono lite is working fine..
All thanks to developers.

I really liked the ROM, but unfortunately the fingerprint doesn't work on it, I don't know if I did something wrong when installing the ROM, but anyway... I had to go back to Stock ROM, I will wait the factory att to Android 11, is better...

I followed all the instructions precisely but it failed, stuck at bootloader, I got many errors during flashing, don't know how to fix it now

I too faced the same issue. In bootloader mode ROM got flashed but with errors. Then it go to Fastbootd and system keeps showing waiting for device. It got struck. I then had to flash stock ROM via lmsa to proceed.
EDIT : This was happening because drivers were not updated on my PC running Win 11. For that I had to connect my phone in bootloader mode to PC. Just went to optional updates. There I installed 2 optional updates one named Qualcomm and the another one named Android ADB, Try again your phone will boot up in this Custom ROM

I have a XT2067-3 (running Stock Android 11 - RPIS31.Q2-42-25-1) and have never installed a Custom ROM on it or rooted this device before. I followed Motorola's website instructions to unlock the bootloader using the key provided by them via email.
After that, I successfully flashed the ROM (after a few errors, I had to install the Google USB drivers as well, apart from the Motorola Drivers). When the phone rebooted into fastbootd, my Windows (10) would not recognize the phone. Installing the Google USB drivers through Device Manager worked immediately, incase anyone else runs into this error.
My main question is, can I flash a Custom Recovery (like TWRP) after flashing this ROM?

I flashed twrp and it's not working ..... The ota updates are not installing as well ( I guess ota updates require a recovery )
I did install another recovery and it's still not working so I manually flashed the update .....
