I have flashed my phone with a CUSTOM ROM and my version is 2.3.5...
and I partitioned my sdcard before I flashed the CUSTOM ROM... for the internal memory..
So now I am wondering if how can I flash back a STOCK ROM? BUT STILL HAVING A PARTITIONED SD CARD FOR THE INTERNAL MEMORY??
You should try with One Touch Upgrade tool from the official site alcatelonetouch.com If that doesn't work search the stock img file... and next time do a backup
Ok. So Im a newbie at this forum. I just wanted to ask some question about this phone.
1. Are there other custom rom for Lenovo A516 with Android Version 5.0? I have been searching at google and I have found a custom rom with lolipop on it.
I was wondering if there is a rom that has the feature "Move To SD Card".
2. The only problem that I have before flasing any other rom is that I cant install CWM on it. My device is not listed.
So I was wondering if there is way to install CWM on my phone..
We all like to flash new custom roms in our Lenovo A6000.
Some time new custom rom release on Lolipop base which is very attractive and we might wanna check it out.
Unfortunately the new custom rom might be buggy and we may be forced to revert back to kitkat or whatever os you were before.
Analysing the present custom os' available for lenovo a6000, many rom authors says that the phone should be currently running on kitkat/lolipop before instaling that particular OS.
I found a work around to avoid flashing of 1 GB stock rom (which is time consuming) to get into kitkat/lolipop build. You just need to flash a very small sized zip file which contain the core system files that are essential .Steps
From Kitkat to Lolipop
Download Kitkat named file attached below
Copy it to your sdcard
Boot into recovery
Flash the copied file
flash whatever lolipop custom rom you like
Voila all done and reboot
[*]From Lolipop to Kitkat
Download Lolipop named file attached below

Flash the copied file
Flash whatever kitkat custom rom you like

Thank You Rahul S Nair for Your Efforts and Hard Work,
Unfortunately It's not working for Me on A6000,
i was in CM 11 4.4.4 (Unofficial),
I just flashed your Kitkat based system by you.zip via TWRP and it's succesfully installed,
Then i flashed Xenon HD from ( http://www.techolaty.com/34356/lenovo-a6000-plus-xenon-hd-custom-rom-32-bit.html ) which is based on Lollipop 5.1, > it showed installation completed.
and i rebooted my device.
But Stucked on Lenovo Logo.
Waited for more than 5 - 6 Minutes, Done 3-4 Times, But no more Changes_Any remedy?
But after this i can install Kitkat based ROM, installed CM 11 again without any changes,

Flash latest stock ROM FTF using flashtool, that'll fix the bootloop. Then flash any nougat ROM.
