Did U know if there's a version of HTC Sense Home available for the EU version of our precious Life?
I've got the EU version with AndroidOne Oreo and even if it's crazy for some of us, I really love Sense layer since my first HTC (Desire :fingers-crossed
I tried all versions of apkmirror and androidfilehost but none of them works :crying:
HTC Music(8.10.826168), Gallery(10.20.836439), Calendar(8.50.864210), clock(9.10.940858), and weather(8.50.853203) (with some bugs for clockandweather widget) works fine, but the most important for me is the launcher

Once I used the OMAP files of a game on a snapdragon processor. Similar things happened. Did the same thing with Tegra on OMAP.

Did you flash an alternative kernel? Perhaps that caused it.
Have you tried deleting the data of the app?
This could be rom related, have you tried the ordroid topic to see if someone has similar issues?
Im not running ordroid, nor am i a developer so these were my 3 cents.

I was tried with faux and bricked .. the same problem .. I try with elegancia ordroid n with a nosense Rom .. btw this is no the only game with problem .. I'm sure all with ics have the same issues but maybe don't test a lot of games ..

There are a lot of vanilla roms in dev section but you must find the best for you . cm9 has some bugs but is the most stock one.

Yeah if you want total android feel you need CM9 / AOSP ROMs.
Test them out, If they are too buggy, Just use a sense ROM until they are fixed. Or beter still, Use a NonSense ROM like blackDragon (i Think) and use nova launcher or apex launcher.
At this point, the safest route is to take a Sense ROM and remove the majority of the HTC bloatware. RomCleaner takes care of most of it. You can also install the AOSP apps to get it to look very close to stock ICS. Then you can wait until the true AOSP Roms are stable and fully functional.

No root no modding try to use NOVA LAUNCHER on a stock ROM is the best way... fast and stable.

I am using AOKP build 40.
Working Awesome! No wi-fi tether but you can just use an app like Barnacle tether...works fine. Camera and camcorder working.
386 available memory running multiple Widgets and 146 apps installed.
Sense is nice but heavily bloated and ram sucks on all sense roms plus you do not get true aosp theme with sense rom no matter what launcher you use.

I have tried almost every Sense 4 roms but i get one camera problem in all of them...after taking a picture going back to main menu or just pushing back my phone hangs and i cannot but pull out the battery to make my phone working...what is the problem and solution??? pleas e help as i cant use any Sense 4 rom.. thnks

Deactivate face detection. I have no cam problems. I'm using fallout and it makes very nice pictures.

Hi buddy. I think your problem is caused by the camera hardware revision that HTC put into the newer batch of desire s. There was a big discussion on this some time ago when a lot of newer desire s' were having camera bugs with cm7 based Roms but worked correctly with sense 3.x Roms. The issue was finally attributed to the camera hardware revision in some newer models.
I think you probably suffer from the same problem and may have to wait till the desire s ICS source code is released. That will help devs cook up a better more compatible Rom.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help as I now have a Galaxy S3 and barely use my desire s...

Jb is smaller because it's from AOSP rom and ics is based on sense 3.6

Continue on from last post, I haven't flashed the ROM yet but I have found some info about the ROM.

Flash ROM instructions:
Go to recovery
Select Wipe|format
Select Wipe data|factory reset
Select format all partitions (except sdcard)
Then flash ROM like normal
Some disclaimer which I am going to leave out, we all know what it is about.
About the ROM:
CM version was created using patchrom (I am not sure what patchrom is about anyhow...)
CM is bruce2728's [ROM][CM10][Kang][Pyramid][4.1.2][09 JAN]

Fixed MIUI call recorder

In conclusion, this is a MIUI ROM running on Bruce's ROM. There are problems reported in the MIUI forum where the download link took you. For bugs and stuff, I will flash it in a few minutes and share my thoughts maybe in a day or two, basically when I feel I have found out enough to give an impression.
PS: This Dev seems to be updating every week. But more or less seems like a one-man team, I could be wrong thou

Hello the s6 edge will be my first Samsung device. I had for 5 years htc devices back to touch HD and now the m8.
I have a lil bit experience about rooting and flashing custom roms and kernels with Samsung devices.
My question is were there any roms. In the past (s4,s5) like the viper rom for htc devices? Viper rom let's you tweak everything u want. Like statusbar, app drawer etc.
I would like to know if there is a rom or theme where you can change the quick settings for example. I don't like the icons.

There will almost certainly not be as much development on the s6 due to the exynos processor in it. The snapdragon devices have always enjoyed a much greater depth of development than exynos.
Thats one of the drawbacks i see with this device.
