i recently tried to make my own custom rom for SM-J3119S. what i did was download the stock rom extracted the ap rom file and extracted the system.img.ext4 file. after that i made some minor changes like removing some unwanted preloaded apps. then i repacked the system.img.ext4 file with the changes made and repacked the ap rom file. then to test if it works i flashed it to my device using odin and odin displayed the message sucess and my phone restarted instead of booting up properly it booted into recovery and on the bottom of the recovery the message "dm-verity verification failed". so what i need to know is if there is a way to flash my custom rom whithout the dm-verity verification failed problem.

I want to replace the samsung bootloader with uboot.bin file, which I compiled and want to flash to my p5110 to boot custom os instead of android....
I use heimdall (which work and flash), but if it print the PIT, it shows the partition as Read-Only. and if I try to flash it load the file and fail to flash
Can someone show me how to replace the samsung stock bootloader, or hack it to load my file?
i need a flashable odin recovery stock for tab 2 model gt p-5110
thank u all
download a Stockrom for your device, extract the recovery.img from the ROM.tar.md5
Now you can flash the recovery.img using e.g. flashify (playstore) or Heimdall (PC). You´ll also be able to create a flashable ZIP for it (to flash it from a Custom-Recovery) , or convert it into an Odin-Flashable *.tar.md5.
Good luck.

So basically I managed to brick my new S6. I rooted it by flashing the unibase with odin. The phone booted correctly and everything was fine. I then decided I needed a custom recovery. I used the application Flashify to flash the recovery. When the phone rebooted, it was stuck on the Samsung logo, with a red message at the stop saying "recovery is not seandroid". What do I do? I'm guessing I need to flash new files using odin but I don't know which - I'm on android 5.1.1 and my model number is SM-G920F. Any help would be appreciated.
In Odin install the .tar (or .tar.md5) files provided with TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/twrp-2.8.7.2-zeroflte.img.tar.html) or PhilZ Touch Recovery (http://www.arter97.com/browse/exynos7420/recovery/11.0/g920fi/) made by arter97.
It is possible that installing TWRP again using Odin can cause the S6 going into another bootloop. My solution for that is to flash a kernel (like arter97's one or Adam Kernel) and then the phone should boot just fine.
Edit: If you will flash a custom kernel you will not need to root the phone again because these contain SuperSU and maybe Busybox.

Hi
What firmware you flashed , describe steps ... the more details the better
Flash again , download firmware again check MD5 , copy and paste Odin logs in case it fails again
Hello new member here, I accidentally flashed a wrong firmware of my j7 core
It got a passed on Odin and stuck in a bootloop with a bluescreen says
Installing system update...
And it goes off and keeps on booting again
Buttons are busted in this model so I had to use toothpicks. IN SHORT, I hardbrickef my phone because of my curiosity gets ahead of me
I flashed a stock rom of the same model but it is android 9 and got bootloop
Any means of help would be appreciated.
Model: SM J701F
Version: Android 7.0
No custom recovery.img installed
If you have the the original firmware of your device the extract pit file from CSC and then place it in Odin with other files and then select Nand Erase and then flash.
