You do know that he took his time to do this and make users see that Oreo is happenin gon the P9, right? This ROM isnt even that broken. The first Oreo build for the Nexus 5 didnt even have working WIFI. So stop saying that he should be ashamed. Thats just dumb.

Yes great rom thank you I agree very smooth but I see other problem than Rom extra settings the camera don't work for me there is a message :"error in the camera,. Unable to establish a connection with the camera" and the camera closes. I see also In agenda when I try to change the time zone the agenda FC and I have been 2 reboot while I was plugged into my computer's USB, otherwise everything else seems to work very well so on the good track

great rom, I love it, few bugs I have found on 2nd release: camera still not working for me; can't even flip the switch for volume rocker to answer call option and this way not working; theme chooser reboots on me when playing around with icon packs (applying default theme's icons from another pack always reboots phone).

Frequently Asked Questions + Useful info:
- The first boot will always be slow. This is because once you enter your google account details it starts updating the google apps and your personal details, while downloading your own applications as well
- The rom does not include Huawei's own services and user interface
- The rom is rooted by default
- After first boot, turn off NFC (or at least try to remove the check from the checkbox, it will not be possible due to a bug), then reboot the phone. After this you will be able to turn it on/off as per usual.
- The rom contains TWRP recovery (power+volume up=TWRP)
- To enable "Developer Tools" & "Performance" menu options, navigate to "Settings->About Phone" and tap "Build number" 4-5 times
- It is not possible to update a rom OTA, only from recovery. The method of updating the rom is the same as installing it from step (3), the only difference is that the "-d: wipe data/factory reset" part needs to be skipped
- You can make the Google search bar disappear from the home screen by opening the settings menu of the Trebuchet launcher via long press. Then expand the advanced settings by swiping up the grey bar of Wallpapers Modules Themes. Here look for the Search bar and switch it off.

Return to stock by flashing a stock rom from here....http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/rom-stock-rom-eva-l19c636b168-t3419586 (whichever version matches your phone).
Then you can try CM or this rom again.
Backup your apps & data first, as it will probably wipe your phone.

How to installI upload the rom as a twrp backup, because the debloating made the first setup impossible with zip
U must have at least one backup in twrp, because it create the folder xxxx(depends on device)!!!
unpack the zip
go to /sdcard/twrp/backups/xxxx(depends on device)/
or if u use sd as twrp backup storage go to /sdcard1/twrp/backups/xxxx(depends on device)/
create a folder here, called rexmi
put the contents of the zip here (files called system.xxx, data.xxx, etc)
update to the latest miui for the firmware
boot it up, to see if the installation is correct
clean data, system and cache partitions
reboot to twrp and restore the backup u put into the storage in the first steps

walkman-610 - dont have any problem with time and date, also im using magisk and its working.
EDIT: I see now that time and date go reseted.
The camera closes when trying to take a photo,video and qr scanner works. log attached

Thanks you very much for logs, that really helpfull info,
but it may take for me some time, to do new build, because I needed to clean my PC and configure build server from start.. I will inform you guys.
So what's the difference between this ROM and konstantinosj77's Lineage OS?

Mine is some sort of continuation of his rom. It's based on his sources but it's builded on newer LineageOS sources. If you keep track on changes to LineageOS then most of them, are included.
PS: I finally set my machine up I think, so Sunday I will get back to building

Cool, so would you say performance will improve, other features will be added, etc? Also can I flash this ROM over my current Lineage OS?

Yep, that's right.
About flashing I thinks it should be good, but I didn't test so can't guarantee.

Turns out, yes, you can flash it over RC3 of Konstantino's Lineage. May take a while to boot though
New build up. Taking pictures is now working, thanks to Konstantinosj77.

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't read the previous posts
I updated from the RC3 and I have to say that the ROM is great, I have not found any bugs. It's nice to have the latest security updates.

works fine ( contacts are not syncing ...but its not related to ROM I think )
will test for one day and let you know what happens
Edit:- bug 1, screen does not turnoff during phone call ( proximity sensor issue )
I tested several rom on moto z play with oppengapps i have each time the problem of synchronization of contacts
Yep must be some problems on Google side since few days? Strange.

Don't know about that, it might be the source error. Try changing the font style to default Robot using any font changer.

You're probably missing sensor hal sources. Clone the linked repo to hardware/moto/sensors in your build tree, build again and you should be fine.

because you probably cloned to hardware-moto-sensors path, but it should be hardware/moto/sensors
This is my new favorite ROM. Only problem I have is the headphone jack not working. Always On Enabler works and I've been looking for a rom with camera and and always on display. I'll be looking forward to the next updates. :good:

In twrp you have to mount system first, then your system.folder will contain privapp
