Hello , is there a way to make it so that when you switch on the TP , you have to insert a pin number , no matter what sin card you have in the phone ???
Sure.
Start, Settings, Lock.
You can setup a PIN or a password. This is attached to the device, not the SIM card.

On my old Samsung it was possbile not only set a password for the SIM but also for the phone ...
I ask if there is a similar App for Android that I cannot find it because all the App I found say: "if SIM card is changed ...."
The goal is to protect my data saved on gmail account ...
I meant an App that works during the start up (powering on the phone) and if there is no SIM inside or a different SIM, it block the phone....
When the screen turn off someone can always remove the battery and the SIM and turn on again the phone and usign a wi-fi can easily check mu e mail !!! and it is very risky in my opinion!

I have looked into what this could mean, and finding that I have a pin on my sim but I dont
I can put my sim in my origonal device and works fine
this phone has been flashed with 2 roms both no signal only the 2nd rom was giving me this message at top of screen
one thing though, I am having to enter the sim unlock(phone lock from Three) code every time I reboot the phone, I obtained this code using the famous term emulater and running that specific string, this code enters fine and says
SSIM network unlock PIN, enters code, then gets - SIM Network unlock successful
any ideas

I click lock sim card and specify a code
Then tells me it cant because there already is one
I can choose Change SIM PIN, by entering the old one (12345? guess) then a new one
I have 1 attempt remaing before I have to contact my phone carrier
Phone is from 3 Mobile but my Sim is from O2, if I put this sim into my origonal device there is no PIN
Any ideas?

I would follow the other method on that guide and SIM unlock that way. It will be 100% successful and then you will know if your SIM card has a pin lock or if your device is having trouble. Remember that you need to be on gingerbread firmware to use the diag.nbh so search the forums and read up before you act

Android pin issue
My sim card is pin protected - it's not possible to disable this pin - I tried also contacting my operator. Is there any app able to enter this pin automatically when I restart phone, close airplane mode, so I will not see this annying pop up every time?

I am developing an android application. This application take information from sensors(sensors in the seat of vehicle) and the driver check this information. My problem this tablet has a sim card and SIM card protect by sim pin. Android waiting for input sim pin If tablet has been closed and reopened. My application running like a launcher and it's starting to running at sim pin require but I don't know how to bypass android sim pin screen or how to unlock sim pin programmatically. The driver don't know SIM card pin.
