hello everyone.
I just updated my s8 sprint to the latest version. in my phone info it shows the build QK5. I tried to downgrade with the stock firmware which I have QD9, however it refuses to flash. I found the latest stock firmware qk5, but i can't download it (2.5 gb is too much and will take forever to download).
I just need someone already has the stock QK5 firmware, extract the boot.img and recovery.img and upload it.
It would really help me. thanks

I was initially on 3's S056_UK firmware. Then I flashed S062_ROW over it, no issues so far. I think flashing the S232 over the S062 won't lead to any problems as well. I suggest first to move to S062 as there is no OTA for S056 to S232. Then flash the OTA. Of course you can also do a clean Nougat install if you wish. This is if you go for the twrp version which I prefer.
The link in this thread is for the fastboot version, so you can full wipe your current rom and install this perfectly fine.
The zip on that site is taken from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p2/development/7-0-lenovo-p2a42-stock-nougat-update-t3581517
Even the first method is wrong because this zip is for recovery.Method 2 is correct.
Can someone provide me with a twrp restore file? I tried to flash the stock rom but the bat file that came with it tampered with some files and I can't even boot into the stock rom
Hey Guys,
So in early January when the s8+ Oreo update got leaked I followed the guide to install it on my device. However, I noticed when I go to download mode it shows up as the SM-G955U and my device is SM-G955W. When I tried download the stock firmware and flashing it in firmware it fails in ODIN. So my question is how would I revert back to the stock firmware and ROM that came with my device, I've tried many different zip files for the stock ROM thinking it might have been corrupt but it does not work.
Edit: here's the tutorial I followed to flash Oreo on my device initially

Thanks!
Try the patched version of Odin 3.13.1:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
I did the same thing and used this to get it back to SM-G955W. This version has support for .lz4 files, which is used in the Oreo ROMS.

I dont know exactly but accoring to your title their bud you got a 955f which is Exynos not Snapdragon
Does anyone have a stock tar file for SGH-I577, I missed to update version on my old phone which was at gingerbread & the manual firmware update (nightlies) did not flash properly.
The phone is stuck at Samsung logo and At&T does not pop up. I need the stock firmware to unroot and try the upgrade again.
Appreciate your help with this.
Hey all,
I have an S7/SM-G930W8/heroltebmc and had it running LineageOS for a while and was loving it... Until I found out it's locked to a carrier and apparently will refuse to unlock with a custom ROM installed.
I tried installing stock rom from https://desktop.firmware.mobi/ and got stuck on boot screen; tried installing stock rom and recovery and got stuck in a bootloop. Now I need to recover from odin and I figured the best way to do so would be to find stock firmware for my device, except the link above only seems to provide .img files, and the external links on the site lead to SammMobile (paywall locked), Updato (broken download links), and Samsung-Updates (site cannot be reached.)
Does anyone know where I can go to get the stock firmware for my device or have a copy they'd be willing to share? Or alternately know of a better way to get back to stock from where I'm at so I can unlock this thing and get back to enjoying lineage?
