My old Oneplus One is broken. It won't turn on. I have a Whatsapp backup in Google Drive which i can restore to my old workphone (HTC Desire 626). The problem is that Whatsapp restore the backup to the internal storage, but i have not enough space on it (3GB free).
I want that Whatsapp restore the backup on the SD card (12GB free). But how do i do that?

Is it possibile to have the pim.vol stored on the SD card rather than the internal memory.
Reason being my work supplied Sable is running seriously low on memory, everthing that can be installed on the SD card is on there.
If i could move my pim it would free up 6MB of valuable memory for me.
Anyone know the answer.
i doubt it
as when the device is off sd card is disabled
so when somebody call and the phone try to display
which contact it is calling it crash
and outlook require the file to be there so if the sd card was
removed it would create a blank pim automaticly
and if it was forced to do so on the absent SD card
it would crash
I want to backup my entire phone's internal storage to OneDrive. I say OneDrive because I have A LOT of space there and I have to backup 64GB. How can I do this?
I had to send my main phone off for repair. I turned on my spare phone and it automatically backed up whatsapp with old conversations. Now my main phone is repaired and back with me, the only conversations that backup from my google drive are the old ones from my spare phone.
Whatsapp says that the last backup was only 11mb, yet when I check google drive my hidden app data is closer to 40mb.
Is there any way I can restore to a whatsapp backup on google drive from 1 week ago, when I was last using my main phone?
Thanks for any help.

I've installed Whatsapp on a new phone, and during installation all messages and photos were restored to the phone from the backup in Google Drive. Now I want to delete all photos from the Whatsapp folder on the phone, because they occupy a lot of space.
The question is whether during the daily automatic backup of Whatsapp to Google Drive, the same deleted images will also be deleted from the backup? i.e. will deletion be synchronized, or maybe the photos will be restored to the device from the backup?
I don't want them to be restored to my phone again, but I do want them to remain backed up in Google Drive so if I'll install Whatsapp on another device in the future, I'll be able to also restore the photos if I want.
