Ok, I have searched, several times and several different ways.
Phone was plugged in like normal overnight, woke up to a green light (LED), blank screen.
wouldn't turn on or off or reboot...
tried all key combinations, download mode, hard reset, reboot. ...Nothing! no blink, no lights, no vibration, no noise, nothing at all.
connect to computer - nothing.
charge it - nothing. (it does get slightly warm, like it is charging)
Any Idea's, thoughts?
thanks in advance.
That's everything I can think of trying, I'm not claiming to be an expert though...

The TL;DR is - Running ROM fine. Phone boots up but screen does not turn on. Does not seem to boot into recovery/download mode. adb is attached aka works.
Phone was sitting on desk, untouched and not charging. Now the phone screen does not come on, but hardware keys light up and notifications come on. I then charged the phone for several hours. Hard reset with a battery pull, let it sit for 10 mins, try to reboot. The phone vibrates once, and 30 seconds later notifications come in, hardware lights come on, and led blinks. So the phone is booting fully, but no screen on.
If I try either of the recovery or download combinations, the same normal boot up happens. So I cannot seem to get into recov/download normally. Odin does not recognize the phone. Windows OS recognizes the internal and external storage as normal. "adb devices" returns nothing.
Is there anything you think may solve my screen-off predicament? .... Worst case its a hardware problem Other than that, I am friggin stuck here. Your assistance and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Had a similar issue when a flashing went bad. My charger was plugged in and for some reason it just kept looping like you mentioned. No combination worked.
I disconnected charger and pulled battery. Waited a few seconds and did the recovery combination. That did the trick. Hope it helps

I am open to suggestions. Plan on opening and operating, as I suspect it's a hardware issue. Worst case, any have experience with replacements?
(Oye, now I'm reviving the OG Droid Incredible ...)
Take it into a pitch black room and look closely, does the backlight try to turn on? I had a very similar problem where my backlight just died, I could see the faint outline of my home screen (like my brightness was on -50% lol) and everything worked but the screen. Ended up being a hardware problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I cannot see even the faintest of light, just pitch black screen.
It's peculiar though --- the hardware buttons are not vibrating. As if it's not recognizing any input other than the Power Button. And thus, maybe why its not recognizing the volume rocker to get into recovery.
Bump: adb now works and recognizes my device. Open to suggestions!!!
edit: Tried adb reboot recovery ... phone turned off, vibrated, then received no input whatsoever -- however still made the connection noise when plugging into USB. Only solution was a hard reset.
I forgot to charge my phone overnight and when i woke up the battery died, then i plugged in the charger and all i get is a white notification light on. No response. I contacted the people in motorola and they told me to leave it for 2-3hours. Surprisingly it loaded up a white screen showing the battery was charging but it was 0%, every 5mins or so there will be a black screen showing options like, boot, wipe device, or factory reset. I first of all tried the boot option but nothing happened. I done that several of times then i chose the factory reset option, after the screen went blank and then it just showed the notification light again, now my phone wont switch on i tried every method but i get nothing.
Try unplugging and plugging in again then holding the power button on for 30+ seconds.

I tried that sveral of times, but it doesn't work
So I was just messaging someone and my s7(exynos variant 930FD) randomly freezed. I tried to reboot the phone and it didnt boot up. Since then Ive tried various key combinations vol up+home+power/vol down+home+power/vol down+power etc. Nothing seems to work. I really need help.
Something similar happened to me. I was listening to music while all of a sudden the phone shut down and it didn't want to turn on. In my case I just plugged the charger on my phone (I had around 70% battery when it shut down), so I suggest you do the same, try and plug the charger in and see if anything happens.
When I connect it to the charger it glows red green green and repeats for 2 times after. If I connect it to the PC and turn it on, the PC makes a connected device sound but still it doesn't turn on. Anyone here knows what it is? Is it bricked?
No clue and found little on a Google search.
If you can easily disconnect the battery, try that.
Better if you can command it to do a hard reboot.
A hard reboot can sometimes resolve issues.
May be a hardware failure.
Hi,
I have a Huawei P30 Lite that does not powers on.
When trying to charge it, the tricolor LED on the top blinks in this sequence : orange, green, orange green. And keeps repeating this.
If I try to turn it on, it shows the same LED light sequence and it vibrates, but nothing else happens.
I have tried to leave it up to charge for 2 hours, tried all the combinations with the side buttons ( volume and power ) to try to enter on recovery mode, but no luck.
This happened after replacing the screen. When testing the new screen, before disassemble the broken one, it worked fine. After removing the broken screen for the new, and putting all together, it stayed with this behavior.
Any idea of what might happened ? Can this LED light sequence be an error code ?
Thank you for your help
