Shortcut & floating accessibility - HTC U11+ Questions & Answers

1. Play store installed app created shortcut on desktop everytime. Any method to disable play store create shortcut?
2. There is floating accessibility that has 3 dots on it to access the menu when I use Samsumg S6 before. Is U11+ has this 3 dots? Some apps need tjos 3 dots.
Thanks

[Q] Lockscreen shortcuts

Well, have the phone for a week now and still couldn't figure out how to add shortcut to lockscreen.
No app nor widget... Only accessible is the pre-installed Google search
Is this specific to MotoG or Android 4.3????
There are few apps on the Play, but I would like to know if there's native support for lockscreen apps/widget on MotoG or not.
UPDATE
Nevermind. Just figure it out.
When lockscreen active press the power button and either very left or right side of the screen press and slide and it show new "tab" with + and there you can add widget. However, it shows actual data (SMS, Email) so any one can check it ( so much about privacy!!!).
Why the hell Moto couldn't add simply notification???
UPDATE 2 :
The camera shortcut (far right) can not be changed/deleted.
You can ad up to 7 widgets ONLY (no apps!).
To delete/change shortcut, briefly press Power button slide to desired tab and press and hold until you see X Remove on the top. Just pull up the page toward it and it will be removed and you can add another widget.

@aspot72,
Use Better DashClock from Play Store

Google Dialer and Contacts [6.0.1 Marshmallow only]

You can use the original google dialer and contacts on Marshmallow.
Flash the attached zip and make the google dialer default in settings. That's all
Don't delelte the samsung dialer and contacts. You can hide them if you use nova launcher for example.
This is not my work, I downloaded the apks from apkmirror.
Google dialer and contacts are available on play store for marshmallow devices

Missing applications!

Hello everybody;
I do not know if this is a compatibility problem, when I download some applications I have no shortcuts on my mobile and they are not present in the application drawer. To launch them I have to go through the play store .
Does anyone have the same problem?
How can I fix this?
Thank you.
I have found my apps favour a screen to the right of home for install. Don't have your problems though.

Are they games?
No all applications

Try hide app drawer from home screen setting, then all apps will appear on homescreen. Then switch back to app drawer, it might help
Thank you all for your reply,
It's Asphalt 8, Pinball 5 and Sky Force Reloaded, so mostly games, I can not find them anywhere.
That's because they are in the game launcher

Gear S3 Widget to close all open apps?

Hi, had my watch a while now it's great, but as usual I'm trying to increase the battery life and one of my pet peeves is having to go to the menu, scroll to the right, then click recent apps and close apps.
Is there a widget available that I can just click and it closes all open items as I cannot seem to find anything on the app store?
Thanks in advance
Mark
No widget that I am aware of.
I have the double press home button set to recent apps. That is still pretty quick and you can close all apps from there
