Hi i know that for devs having deodex roms is better and i know that odex is better for starting up apps.
But could any one confirm have you tried both do you notice difference? Im thinking going to stock but note sure if u see the benefits

i own a google nexus one. i've seen a lot of kernels around and i was wondering what is their purpose. besides i wanted to know if the roms (cyano, stock deodexed rom and so on...) come with their own kernel or if it has to be installed separately. in this case how do i know which my stock kernel was?

I am looking for the same thing. Saw some links on the boards; however, those were dead links. Anyone have just a simple stock deodexed /zip aligned without mods or tweaks?
Are you looking for the 4.0.3 ROM specifically? I posted a deodexed version yesterday of the NS4G 4.0.4 ROM.
It appears that there has been some difficulty getting the ICS ROMs to deodex properly without resorting to deodexing manually. (As far as I've seen, they'll install and run properly, but will produce errors when decompiling). If there is enough interest for it, I can work on it, but since I don't have an automated script to help, it's a bit time consuming. However, if you're just looking for particular apps, you can extract the ones in the link above and install them.

Hi guys
I have a Galaxy S6 SM-G920F running Lollipop 5.1.1 and want to download Xposed. I found I need a deodexed ROM. However i want to keep my stock touchwiz untouched since I'm used to it.
I can't find a ROM like this, does anyone know of one? Not counting the Xtre Stock rom that's been debloated a little too much.
Also I read you can deodex from titanium backup but I don't want to ruin my phone even though I have backups. If my phone was deodexed, wouldn't apps I download from the Play Store give me odexed apps? Meaning I'd have to keep deodexing apps? (probably a stupid question but hopefully someone can clear up the confusion)*

Has development for this phone ended? I've been looking for a good alternative ROM for my 700T1 and a good optimised battery saving kernel would be nice? Would anyone who has gotten other ROMS to work on the T1 or T please share it and the steps taken to flash please. Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, development has pretty much stopped. You will not get much better than tweaking the stock rom. Since nougat does not support this chipset you won't see that either.

Tweaking the stock is fine with me as I am a fan of Touchwiz, can someone help me do this? The only problems I have with this phone is the poor RAM management of stock (lagginess) and no screen mirroring.

If you've completely deodexed the stock rom, try porting a ROM with the same chipset like the A5/A7 etc. Good job too bro.
