Give a spin to the ROM I am on and try. Mine turns green only at 90%.
Also, do u have any LED color changing apps loaded that are getting loaded when u restore with TiBu?
I'm 99% sure this is normal operation.
Does it continue charging to 100%? Or does it stop at 90%?
Mine changes to green at 90% also. I just assumed it was normal.

I've only noticed the 90% green on CyanogenMod, running LeeDroid right now and the LED only turns green at 100%. I'm pretty sure this is a bug. In my opinion if this is intended to be a feature, there should be different notifications based on almost/fully charged. Maybe flashing at 90%, solid at 100%?
this is on most roms but its not a bad thing, its not like your battery life is bad its just showing when its basically done charging
It keeps charging to 100%. If you doubt it download current widget. It will tell you exactly how much power is being pushed to the phone.

I'm on CM7 and my LED turns to green at 90% as well. Is this something you are seriously concerned over? It's an LED color, as long as it continues to charge to 100% who cares lol.
As others have said, it is normal for the light to go green at 90%. Every ROM I've tried (except for LeeDroid) does the same thing, and from what I recall even the stock HTC ROM switches to green at 90%, which is probably the basis for most of the custom ROMs doing the same thing.
My guess as to why the light goes green at 90% is because that last 10% of charging time takes a while (due to an increase in charge trickling) and the average consumer would be waiting and waiting for their charging light to go green if it were set to 100%. The ROMs/kernels are designed to balance the convenience factor with a little loss in charged capacity.
As the battery charge gets closer and closer to 100%, the electrical charging current being sent to the battery decreases more and more. This is best practice when charging a Li-ION battery to help prolong its lifespan. In our Inspire phones I have noticed (using Battery Monitor Widget set to 1 minute intervals) that during a typical charging cycle, when the battery is between 1% and 59% the kernel or the ROM (not sure which one controls charging; my guess is the kernel) allows the battery to receive a full charge. Using the stock HTC AC adapter, this equates to around 820mA with the screen off. Once the battery reaches 60%, the software will start to throttle back the charging a little bit at a time - the higher the battery is charged, the less current is applied. By the time you hit the 90% mark, the battery is only being fed with around 100mAH of power and is still decreasing. So that last 10% takes a little while.
My stock Inspire doesn't go green until it hits 100%. I tested it twice to make sure. The last 10% does take a little longer, but still no green until charging is completed.

Mine goes green at 90% while the phone is on. If charging and turned off it goes green at 100%. This is both when I was stock as well as now on MIUI

Well said HenryBravo.
The most efficient way it seems to calibrated your battery, in my opinion, is to first download current widget. Go to widgets and add the current widget widget to your screen. Plug in your phone, and leave it plugged in until your m/a reading says zero or 0m/a. You will see one hundred percent charged on the widget, tap on the 100 and a smaller number (anywhere from 30m/a on down will be present) it is this number that shows how much charge your phone is still drawing. Even though it says 100%, like HenryBravo stated, It is STILL drawing current, and until the widget reads 0m/a, is not fully charged. When you reach the coveted 0m/a mark, open file expert (or corresponding app) and go to the data folder. Then system. Then batterystats.bin - delete the file and reboot with phone plugged in (until reboted, then unplug) and your system will recreate your batterystats.bin file and have the proper value for a full charge. Also, this can be done by booting in to recovery, going to advanced, wiping battery stats, and rebooting. There are other calibration methods I have read of, which involve fully charging, depleting, charging again, etc... I have found this method yields the same results for me. Not all phones are the same and some phones yield various results with certain procedures, I am not sure if the battery calibration falls in this Category or not. Good Luck and hope it helps!!

When I'm running CM7 this happens to me too. But on Cleardroid ROM it stays orange and wont turn green until 100%. I think its just part of the Rom, nothing to worry about.

This is normal operation. It's not a bug. When your phone reaches 90%, that is when it resets the calculation of how long your phone has been on/off the battery.
Quoted directly from the phone manual, "As the battery is being charged, the notification LED shows a solid red light. The light turns to solid green when the phone is fully charged". Shouldn't really matter though, as long as the phone charges to 100%.

My girlfriend has the htc sensation, and lately the battery life has been completely crap, to the point where sometimes it won't even charge on the wall outlet, displaying the message that the phone is using too much current to charge. This morning the phone was completely dead and when plugged up, the orange light would flash for about 10 minutes before it would boot. The other day I noticed the notification light flashing orange and green real fast. The brightness is almost always all the way down, and she uses ds battery saver through the day. With very light usage, just texting here and there, the phone is completely dead within about 6 hours or so. I can't seem to find any rogue app or anything that would kill the phone thus fast, so I figured I would come to the people that use this phone every day. Is the battery life really this bad on this phone? Or maybe a hidden app or faulty battery? Any help is appreciated greatly.

Consider these five things:
No battery saver, task killer or memory freeing apps. Just don't use them. They're bad. They help drain your battery not save it.
Don't reboot the phone. You'll see the battery fall from 50% to 40% on a single reboot.
Turn off the phone. Charge over-night and if possible. Leave it without using it to discharge until the battery is empty or roughly 5%. Then charge again until full.
Consider disabling GPS, bluetooth, WiFi tethering and mobile data if possible. Don't use auto brightness.
Consider a replacement battery. Anker is an excellent replacement.
She uses stock ics, unrooted. bluetooth is always off, gps is almost always off, never uses auto brightness. Phone is always charged overnight. It is almost 2 years old, which leads me to believe it may be the battery, so Ill see if there are any cheapo ebay batteries to use till she gets an upgrade.

Hi.
My tablet had some charging issues, but after I bought another cable it worked until now.
It says "97% Full" and it does not charge more than 97%!
What is the problem?..
Thanks.

Nevermind. Here is what I have done to make it work:
1. I unplugged the charger and checked it
2. I flashed through TWRP and pressed Settings -> Fix Permissions, then flashed the Insecure Stock Kernel as I am rooted
3. I cold booted the device
4. I uninstalled the suspect apps which I think that they didn't let the tablet charge correctly
5. I downloaded some battery drain apps and drained the tablet to 0% while watching a movie and playing
6. I plugged in the charger again and let it charge for 4 hours (ignore the red battery icon)
7. I turned it on and it was 100% charged.
8. I uninstalled the apps that drains my battery
9. I hope it charges now, lol.

This is a known issue for lots of devices. I have this issue with my TF101 and my MacBook Pro.
From http://guides.macrumors.com/Laptop_Battery_Guidep/:
What is "full cycle"?
A cycle is when the total battery power is less then 50% before it is recharged. The battery electronics monitor the status of the cells during use, and not cycling the battery at least once a week may cause the electronics to get false recordings. It is best to fully drain the battery before you charge it up again. Seeing a fully charged in your battery status monitor as 99% is a good indication to fully cycle your battery.
Thus it's always good to completely drain your battery and charge it fully at least once a month, preferably more. Apple offer a calendar reminder to do it monthly on their website.
It won't charge if it is already charged 95% or more
Drain below 95% then it will charge to 100%
Since I've gotten my Moto G is December, I've never had any problems with it at all.
However, today I left home for school, leaving my battery on 52%. I turned off WiFi so that during the day the battery won't go down too much.
However when I came home, my phone was off, as apparently, it had drained all the way from 52% - 0% in a matter of hours while on standby.
I started to charge it at around 3:30 pm.

Normal for the G. A ton of users have had it happen and their are at least a couple of other threads here about this behavior. There is no known solution as far as I can tell.
does anybody notice that when moto g is 100% & shows charged on the lock screen but if you were to go to native battery stats page you will still see 100% - Charging (AC) instead of 100% - Full?
mine shows 100% - Charging (AC) while on lock screen it says Charged
my N7 2012 shows 100% - Full
any ideas?
thanks

Got the same issue mate! Are you running stock KK aswell? Back when I had JB it'd charge fine to a true 100%, it simply doesn't anymore. Can also notice that problem when reviewing the charge through DU Battery Saver, for instance - it doesn't load the slow charge.
Pretty much experiencing a sudden drain from 100 to 98% in less then 10 minutes.
Do you habe Skype installed? That's a huge battery drainer. Removing it pretty much revived my battery.

Me? No I don't, actually performed a factory reset and wiped cache - the battery ain't calibrated to fully charge to the true 100% yet I guess but the drain is a lot better. As of right now I am on 1d 23h with 3h SOT, about 93% deep sleep and 49% battery left.

Without controlled tests can't say for sure, but I've had my 3 since last week. Today for the first time I had AOD on all day, and I've got more battery left now at 7pm (74%) than I did yesterday at this time without AOD. Usage varies some day to day so that's not conclusive, but my observation so far is it's not a battery hog. Its easy enough to try and compare for yourself. I also have adaptive battery turned on which can take a while to optimize, so that could have influenced my results. For now I'm leaving AOD on.

That's about right. If I charge my phone to 100% before bedtime it's at about 91% in the morning. If I turn off AOD, it's about 98% in the morning which is about the same as other phones I have. I wish you could program it to turn off from say 10pm to 6am like my LG V30.

AOD turns off when the proximity sensor is covered. Its off in the pockets. Its off when you put it in a sleeve or just turn it over screen down.
If you feel comfortable with keeping the phone screen down on your night stand, AOD will turn off automatically.
You can certainly do it with Tasker (I do). Should work without root as it's just a secure setting (Tasker supports changing secure settings now, or you can use the auto tools plugin)
