Hello everyone, im in trouble right now. I dont know how to unlock my moto g3's bootloader, i cant find perfect link on motorola website so i choose "US / GSM, Global GSM" option. but after i entered unlock key in terminal i got this message saying "argc is 3".
how to solve this?
Just off the top of my head this looks like a fastboot error as it doesn't seem to be communicating with the device... try using https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790

As the title says .. I only get the three options Nvflash,RSD, and Fastoboot >> so how can I factory reset my device .. there should be an option for recovery but tried with no use .. my device is MZ604 wifi only bought from Dubai .. I also can't get it working coz it's stuck on the Motorola symbol >> please help me to get recovery of my device .. thanks in advance
The wifi only Xoom running 3.0.1 stock, does not have a recovery option. You are going to have to search these forums for "stuck on Motorola logo", looking for a similar situation to yours. Don't worry, you will find plenty of threads with helpful advice.
Thank you very much .. actually I looked for 2 days and everybody saying I have to go to fastboot mode and do something there but what ever I write in the fastboot the device keeps giving me that my device is still locked although I did unlock it with fastboot oem unlock but keeps telling me my device is still locked .. when I tried to do adb reboot recovery it says my device not found .. no adb lines seems to work also .. the only thing that works is fastboot oem unlock or fastboot oem lock and they both seem to be doing nothing to my device coz it still says my device is locked
You may want to try this > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1097997
If you want the Recovery option, you need to flash the file in step #3 in post #1 of this thread:

Hi,

Today i decided to root my st26 but to do that i need to unlock my bootloader(i cant do it with that way of locked bootloader), but i cant seem to enter in fastboot. It never show's the blue led and i cant get to work because of that saying "waiting for devices" in every way to unlock the boatloader.
Can anyone help me?
Hey xda,
I rooted my friends phone a couple of days ago and he also wanted me to install a rom on his phone. i downloaded the twrp app and installed it as the app said. the day after, the would not start up and just viewing an error: image signature verify fail. someone with same problem told me i had to unlock the bootloader and the problem would be solved. I unlocked the bootloader with an unlock code and fastboot. but now it doesn't start up either! when i hold the power button it sais ascend and then it turns black. the hardware buttons light up. if i look in fastboot it shows the bootloader is unlocked but I can't acces it. I can only go into the purple screen (download mode?) that blackscreen and i guess fastboot because i can see it if i type 'fastboot devices' in cmd window. I have tried to wipe all data with cmd by typing 'fastboot -w' but it still doesn't start up
I need help now because I don't want to buy my friend a new one. it's a huawei g510-0100.
A reply would be much appreciated.
thanks,
Lars
Hi, thank you fur using XDA Assist. You need to flash the stick firmware on your device. Unfortunately there's very little information about your device so if you don't know how to flash the stock firmware ask here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257421

Hello,
i've got a htc one mini. the problem is, it won't start. everytime i start it, it ends up in the bootloader menu.
i can't flash a new rom, because i can't get into recovery. usb-debugging isn't enabled, and i have no opportunity to enable it. the bootloader menu says that the phone is S-ON and the bootloader is locked. i tried to unlock it with htcdev, but fastboot shows errors
i hope someone can help me,
& sorry for my bad english, it isn't my first language.
We are already in 3 who have had this problem...

Everytime the phone starts up, it goes to a screen saying;
"Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted..." - Either the choices keep it at this screen or it launches the eRecovery screen. The Huawei eRecovery screen (EMUI) with the option to "download latest version and recovery" fails. WiFi connection is fine but is never able to get the necessary files. Getting package info failed.
Windows drivers installed fine. But other than this - there is nothing else I can do. I'm happy to flash it to some sort of stock basic no frills version of Android. Please tell me what i'm supposed to do so I can get this phone working again, thanks!
Flash a fresh system.img in fastboot.
Is there a specific version of fastboot and where can i get the system.img file from?
Thanks for any help - sorry first time doing this!
anymore ideas to remove that message : "Your Device Has Been Unlocked And Can T Be Trusted" during boot except relock bootloader and loosing root ! , please . it has been done for Motorola and what about huawei mate 9 ?
looking forward for quick answer
