We already know it includes the June Security Patch. Hopefully they fixed the problems we've been having with MM as well.

Yeah I just got it. I am going to wait to update though.

I received the notification too. Probably just the June security updates that all the other carriers already rolled out.

I don't think so. Normally if it's just the security update, the info on the update just says "This update includes the latest Android security updates."
This says enhancements and improvements along with Android security updates.

Good catch. Hopefully, like you said before, it fixes some of the issues from the MM update.

Yeah.. I'm getting tired of my music randomly pausing for a second.. lol. I wish I could just update now but eff losing my Dev bootloader. I hope the odin .tar comes out soon so we can just flash it without the aboot.

This one actually rebooted the phone and started it up from scratch and optimized Android system. The previous security updates have never done that to my phone.

How do I keep from getting this? Already on MM with unlocked bootloader. I should say it's already on my phone waiting for me to apply it.

No mention of fixing camera quality or music skipping problems.

Just finished the update. Takes you up to 6.0.1. Don't see much else different.
EDIT: NM, didn't even realize the last update was 6.0.1. Thought it was just 6.0

Ahh nice. I didn't even see the mention of the security updates.

Did Verizon patch the aboot.mbn for 15 EMMC users, or is it always included in updates? There is a new aboot and boot.img file included in the new PF4 OTA zip.

Like any OTA, you'll lose Dev Bootloader status. We'll have to wait for someone like @jrkruse or @muniz_ri to make a ROM.

did it to me two days in a row, even after re-configuring pattern code

Well what about from G900VVRU2DPF4 to G900VVRU2DPD1 without loosing data since they are both 6.0.1?

I need the tar file for the pf4.... So i can flash my locked and unrooted pb1 phone via odin. Does someone have a link to the needed tar file? I need the stock tar one not debloated or rooted one.

Anyone get one on AT&T yet. Might jump per to Tmobile firmware if They get all the updates first.
Also what security patch is the U1 firmware on? I know Samsung made some promises after the unlocked S7 that they would be better at pushing out updates directly to that phone. If they get better with those updates I'd switch to that firmware I think as well.

Yes, T-Mobile & Sprint are faster generally.
As for Samsung's promise to step up support for the U phones, I guess it's too early to tell. With that said, however, Samsung recently pushed out the May update for the 935U which was a pleasant surprise. So far after Samsung's promise, the 935U has gotten the updates 2 months in a row instead of once every 3 months.

Did they get an update already? I thought they just started out on the May patch, are they on the June patch already?
If it's going to be that far ahead I'll switch to that firmware right away.

Yeah so is the AT&T firmware really a whole MONTH behind the Unlocked Firmware?
That blows my mind. Also really is pushing me towards switching to the Unlocked firmware.

It also enables the ability to toggle/hide the bottom navigation bar. Which I'm pumped about

I had no region out of the box and have never updated to android 11... Am on. 30 on my firmware am very confused by oppo and their updates

I was on A.15 since out of box, no OTA received, I have updated manually to CPH2025_11_A.23.
Now again everyone is talking about A.30 but no OTA for me even via VPN.??
Region is UAE. Model CPH2025 global, 5G and volte is working no issue...
Any clue why not receiving OTA at all.

Well this is there response to me.
Ino we are at are own risk installing these builds but not to have a dodgy rollback file that they send to us! So now apparently we all have to send are devices away.

I honestly done know, I'm on A.25 and apparently I have a bugged version that completely stops me from updating unless I send it away

Don't assume you've got a "bugged" version of software. Remember up until today those of us on A.23 couldn't get the update, even by using the VPN method but it didn't mean we had faulty software. Today the update then appeared for us as an OTA as normal.
Perhaps your A.25 version just needs to wait a bit longer and you'll eventually get the update sent to your phone as usual.

I'm in aus but haven't received the update yet. Did you get through a phone provider? I'm with optus, I also don't have a region setting and I've never installed Android 11

Will get the new official update? I have been checking and it just says that I am up to date

If you were not part of the official beta program you need to Odin or sideload the final you won't get OTA

No. I got the January update a few days ago, Verizon. My daughter's unlocked S22 will probably get it in another week or so.

Yes. Verizon (and I assume the other US carriers) pushed out the January update last week. I got it on Jan 5. The US unlocked variants usually are a week or two behind.

I have the locked AT&T S22 ultra and I'm still on the December 1 security update. Has AT&T pushed out the January security update for locked devices yet?
