I had gone through many article and read that
1. Custom rom will reduce the clarity of photo
2. Photo clarity depends on the software..

Hey guys i was wondering .. does changing the camera app will also affect the image processing ? or the image processing algorithms can't be changed for a phone?
Because i thinks on paper sony xperia z3 should produce awesome images in terms of quality but it doesn't , and i think sony's image processing algorithms is the reason, though i'm not sure.
On the other hand samsung galaxy s5 which doesn't have a better camera specs (in my opinion), takes better images in terms of quality.
Hi
Like the topic title indicates.
I like taking photos in my freetime - but do not always take my camera with me.
Is there any way to enhance the performance of the camera.
Actually I know it's limitation - from sharpness performance, I have no major expectations from the 2-year-old midranger.
But it would be more than great if light etc could be enhanced and I should not need to work with messy jpegs.
Thank you
Not a chance, even the on the z5,z3 ect this is down to Sony. It's possible to use the z5 camera2 apk and camera files/libs if rooted using them myself it's about as good as the m2 will get I think on Sony camera files, open camera gives good results. Here's the z5 camera2 files I'm using

Thank you
I was hoping to have a workaround without root
I need a good opinion regarding what I will try to explain, I have seen many applications that between some have the option to record at 60fps as the application Game Screen Recorder only that when recording and verify the properties of the video shows me 38fps sometimes 32fps my doubt is because it drops a lot the fps I must mention that I have a Xperia X Performance and a Xperia XA Ultra both are of ultras graphics although I used Gltools to modify some adjustments to know if it is due to it but not so some tip so that I recorded the 60fps as it should be although the bitrate I have played and proved many configurations but I do not have the expected results I hope they can help me with... :fingers-crossed:
Hey there, I found a few screens on the web that show a lot more in-app-camera-apps and a lot more options for manual control. Is there any way to kind of unlock the app or something?
If not, any better camera app to download with a focus on manual control?
Best

I think no other could do better. I got some information about XPZ camera. 。There are special algorithms in the phone to support photos

Snap-Camera is my favourite and it's on XDA

It supports all manual controls on my XZP and shoots in full 19MP. I find it's overall picture a lot better than sony's.
Give it a try.
Actually it does not. Max shutter speed is limited to 1/10s. Which isn't mind blowing. It's Sony fault. They have limited shutter speed in manual camera to 1s and in 3rd party apps to 1/10s...
Hello,
I am thinking about purchasing XA2, and I am just curious what is your experience using third party camera apps through Camera2 API.
Can for example Open Camera access full resolution of rear camera, or is limited to some extent?
I have red that last update (50.1.A.13.83) improved Stock camera IQ significantly, can someone compare or post samples?
How about camera apps on LineageOS, could be output comparable to stock?
Any way how to get pics with low jpeg compression and low noise reduction on this Xperia?
