Can't get LTE/4G on Rogers S6 -> Fido - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I've done the switch to VOIP and went with the fido 3GB plan.
I can't seem to get LTE on my phone but get it on my tablet with the same sim so its not the sim.
I've also already done all the basic troubleshooting such as switching networks, checking APN's, enabling LTE in the networks
Also when I try to do a CSC change to see if this would fix it *#272*IMEI* (whatever it is) I get 'unknown application'
Here is my device information
Model Num: SM-G920W8
Android V:5.1.1
Baseband: G920W8VLU2AOG2
Kernel Version: [email protected] #1 Wed Jul 8 2015
Build #:XtreStoeLite Deo Mod v2.2 - XXU2BOGG
Anyone have any ideas or need further info?
Thanks!

Rogers/Fido removed LTE connectivity from the S6 running anything lower than 7.0 according to a mass text message they sent out to subscribers.

[Q] 3G very slow after update

Hi everyone, this is my first thread, I tried looking for the problem but was not able to find any information about it. I have updated the firmware on my I9003 from KIES the latest firmware is:
PDA: I9003DDLF2
Phone: I9003DDLE1
CSC: I9003ODDLF2
Firmware version: 2.3.6
Baseband: I9003DDLE1
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-CL1153545 [email protected]#1
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.DDLF2
now after the update I am getting about 70 Kbps download speed on my phone, I am able to get close to 390Kbps upload speed, before the update I could easily clock 2-3 Mbps on the same phone. Can you please let me know what I can do to fix the problem. My phone is not rooted and I have always used official ROM.
I have contacted my service provider, they are looking into it but I have a feeling it is something to do with the update because I have never had issue with this provider and it has always good speeds on 3G.

You might want to check the network settings. I think there is an option to use only 2g. Maybe that could be the issue. Do you get the "H" symbol when using packet data ? The H symbol is present on the left of the mobile signal indicator.
I have changed to GSM+WCDMA
Hi Thanks for the reply, but I have checked the network settings, I have been using 3G since 2005, I have tried all the network settings and even created new APN setting for Airtel, still the problem is same.
Any advice guys.

cellular network state disconnected please advise

I searched this forum and others and could not find anything that answered my question. If I am posting in the wrong place I sincerely apologize. If I did something totally stupid to my phone please tell me...here it is:
I have a text now moto g xt1032 with an unlocked bootloader, rooted, TWRP recovery.
I canceled textnow service and then flashed a rom (XT1032 Retail US Optimized v1.3) to get rid of text now's horrible rom that was preinstalled on it. This is not my DD and if I totally ruin it I can live with that but I hope that's not the case. I thought everything went perfectly.
I thought I might try to activate with TING. The MEID check said the phone was compatible (it did show an odd device name xtsomething instead of moto g) and they gave me a phone number and I believe my MSL but when I went to do over the air programming it wouldn't work because I can not enable data/cell network. It just says account could not be validated when I dial ##DATA#.
Sooo... should I try to find a way to manually program or do something here? Or is this because of my baseband/kernal?
My info:
moto G xt1032
android: 5.0.2
baseband version: msm8626bp_1032.390.81.01P BOOST_CUST
kernal version: 3.4.42-g6f35b04-00002 [email protected] #1 Wed Apr 15 11:59:10 CDT 2015
system version: 220.41.36.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US
Build number: see above
network type: cdma - EvDo rev. A
Voice: In service/data:in service
cellular network state: disconnected
Thanks guys for being so helpful and awesome!
PS will the xt1032 umts kernal be compatible with all of the above in case I need to do that?
You currently have a kit kat radio. According to the link below you should be using one of these for 5.02.
[Radios]
3105.93.00R - Retail UK
3105.93.00R - O2 UK
3105.93.00R - Retail EU
3105.93.00R - Retail Germany
3105.93.00R - Retail Brazil
Here's the link to download the correct radio. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649763
Will these radios work in the US?

[Completed] ZTE A460 no network service or data

Hello all,
I am new to the forums and threads o please bare with me.
*Issue-no network service and no network data. I live in Mexico and use Telcel as the carrier. The ROM (below) I used which by the way works very smooth and fast however I have been unsuccessful in finding why it does not give me service. I'm baffled. I followed all the steps installing the Rom to a clean device. I added the devices info below and if I missed something please let me know.
** The device has LTE, (recommended), 3g and 2g. The LTE is selected however does not let me change it at all. The APN's have the correct settings for Telcel however its like if it didnt. Network operators is blank and when I choose automatically it states ( Can't connect to this network right now. Try again later.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.....
Tony

Hi !
I personally haven`t found any cyanogenmode 13.0 available for your device here on xda , you maybe have downloaded from a different website so please refer to that particular one in order to fix the issue , only its developer knows what`s wrong and also other users
Alternatively you can flash back the stock rom in order to restore the functionality
Good luck !

No wifi tethering option 6.0.1

Hi
My SM-G900P Doesn't have the Wifi Tethering option available on the settings. it wasn't available before either, i have been updating from lollipop to marshmallow and nothing. i'll be adding some pictures for yall to see:
Info on the phone:
Running Stock Android:
software version
G900PVPS3CQC1
baseband
G900PVPS3CQC1
MCC:
370
Sales _Code & Default_Code: XAS
"Hotspot" is available for me and the other 5 members of my Sprint Galaxy S5 (Android 6.0.) family. I wonder if it's because your plan doesn't include hotspotting.

it very well could be that sprint only pushes out the app to those who pay for it as it is a pay for use service. i havent been on stock firmware for over 3 years so i honestly cant remember if it is just on every phone and it only lets people who pay for it to use it or not. Its baked into so many rooted ROMs that its almost a no brainer to root and flash a ROM that has it built in and you can stay as stock-ish as you like in most instances
