Hey, So I am using Just5 Freedom x1 phone. And now something happens that I can't to log in to my account. It keeps saying that my login failed. I tried everything. Deleted all root files, resented my phone and tried to unlock snapchat's account. It keeps showing the same.. Maybe you know where is the problem??

You most likely broke the SafetyNet (for anyone else reading this in future), if you're using stock firmware (5.1) then unfortunately there's no backups of that image (though, there is quite some demand for that ROM, so I'd make a full backup regardless). There is however a way to get an more up-to-date firmware from NeedROM, I got 7.0 from there and rooted using Magisk, SafetyNet 1/2 passes, ctsProfile fails.

I have a friend who's sucking me into this, so I thought I would give it a go. When I could login to the management on the website, but not the app, I did some Googling. I came across that rooted devices seem to be evil, and I get it from a certain standpoint. Too bad Snapchat doesn't have logins more like WeChat, so a security breach wouldn't be such a big concern.
But I digress to my question for you... after you got Snapchat working, were you able to install the APK through GooglePlay or Recovery (ZIP) and have your root access back WITH Snapchat still functional?
I've tried a few of the "hide root" apps myself, but none of them really seem to work anymore for situations like this.

Superus and ((hide root)) will not let you use Snapchat
After installing normal Snapchat.. And log in than you can flash the root access

Yeah I tried about 4 of the HIDE ROOT apps until I gave up. Thought it was worth a shot, but we are WAY past the days of things being THAT easy, right... LOL
Thanks for the tip about unrooting, installing Snapchat, and then reroot! Always hate messing with that stuff if there is no need.

Rooted phone won't install apks, how can I fix this?

I recently rooted my phone, and it worked perfectly fine after that, but a few hours later, I noticed that the play store would not connect, even with a stable connection. Noticing this I thought to resync my account, however I was prompted with a notice saying "could not connect to Google servers, try again later." After getting this, I checked online for solutions, most of them being for me to download ES file explorer and delete a host file, however while trying to get the file explorer apk, I was told it wouldn't install. I finally resorted to a factory reset and I still have the same problem, and I can't get my backup data since I can't log into google accounts. Can someone help me?

So I tried doing this, flashing the stock ROM, and I ended up in a bootloop, I've been trying since yesterday but I just keep getting errors. My model is the SM-G930V
you might be better off asking in the Verizon forum as you have a Verizon S7.

google play uncertified after update to B225

anybody seeing uncertified device in google play after upgrade firmware B225 in mate 9 Chinese version? it was certified in B213
Interesting. I have the same for B225. What does this mean?
not sure, maybe because of the integration of GMS into the FW but so far all gapps work fine without any issues, v8.X supposed to come out yesterday or today so hope it will update without any issues.
May be its a reason that Android pay stop working on this firmware.
Anybody know how to fix this?

haven't tried it yet but you are correct, some gapps will only work on certified devices
This is a bug of Google or Huawei? Google support can't tell me anything about it.
I am think that firmware not official.
Perhaps you can contact Google support for help. Good luck to you.
anyone got this fixed? been thinking about doing a factory reset and reinstall gapps from scratch but not sure if will work or if its better to wait for a new fw update from huawei whenever that happens
This has been the case for me on the last several releases. I have not experienced any difficulties or even change whatsoever. I don't use Android Pay though.

i did in b213 but now I cant also photos and contacts dont sync automatically in the background unless I open the app other than that everything works as expected
I have the same thing installed on the MHA-L29C432B193 via FunkyH, I have had it several times before and over time, and no problems in the applications or their updates have caused it.
Same here on 193. It is because firmware is not certified by Huawei jet.

I had just rebranded from C567B190 to C432B193 (for the frequent security updates as it seemed like it was getting updates every month), and now Playstore says uncertified and Google Play is refusing to work, stating:
"Android Pay can't be used on this device
This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM..."
I hope you're right about this, arminbih, I'd hate to lose the ability to run Android Pay because of what I did and I'd hate to have to do another factory reset.
My phone's bootloader is locked after the rebranding script finished flashing the official B193. Did the recommended steps, 2 script runs and factory reset, but I hope nothing was messed up during the process. I should've backed up the original partitions in TWRP before proceeding with flashing. Oh well.
Anyone else have a clue?

193 is unstable, force closes some apps, and camera does not work in RAW mode. I suggest going back to 190 or before, they are certified.

Thank you for your reply. Off-topic question, would you know if it's easy to go back to 190 without losing data?
(I certainly should look that up myself, I know, but I literally just got the phone yesterday so it's still much of uncharted territory for me)

Search "firmware finder" on play store and forums. You can upgrade downgrade as much as you like via official upade changing dns.

I too had B193 installed, and Android Pay wouldn't work. SafetyNet basic integrity passed but not CTS Profile, and probably because of B193 being uncertified. Went back to B190 now that it's certified and Pay works again and SafetyNet passes on both checks.
I have previously used updates the day they were released on hwmt.ru and they have worked fine with SafetyNet, even when it said uncertified. So this might be something new.
That's great to know. Thank you.
Were you able to downgrade without a wipe, and if so, what method did you use?
I've been messing with FF and the proxy method but no dice so far.

Snapchat login and rooted phone

Hello,
I have a honor 8 rooted since like one year but suddenly I cant' login in snapchat anymore.
I heard about 'we cant log in snapchat when the phone is rooted', but I always did and never got problems before. I switch everydays (i have 2 accounts)
So i tried to uninstall phh's superuser/busybox then clear all cache, reboot and verify that my phone is unrooted..(with the checker).
But still i can't login...
I don't have xposed/magisk or anything else
I wanted to try the trick with bluestack/titanium backup but it looks like we can't use snapchat with the last bluestack.....
And if i connect with an other phone, I can't backup with titanium since we need root for titanium :'(
So I don't know what to do now
If you have any ideas
Thanks
Have you tried an older version of Snapchat? Maybe they updated the login and thats why you suddenly cannot login?
Yea I tried many old version still can't login
I also flash my stock boot.img and delete root
I'm not root anymore but still can't login

Snapchat Login Temporarily failed, will unrooting and locking bootloader fix this?

Hello, admittedly I am new to the rooting scene and don't always know what to do. My main issue is Snapchat. It was working fine, then I had some problems with the notifications, so I uninstalled it. When I went to reinstall it and sign in, I got the error message. Now I can't sign back in on my OP7P no matter what I do. I've tried unrooting (although I don't know if I did it correctly) and that didn't work. I'm wondering if I Unroot and Lock the bootloader would that fix some of the issues? I was failing safetynet, so that could also be the issue, but I haven't found how to get safetynet not to fail.
TLDR- Snapchat login issue, Will Unrooting+Locking bootloader fix this? If so, how can I go about doing those things. Also, I would like to keep the root if I could, how can I start passing safetynet? I litterally have nothing installed besides Magisk and TWRP.
