ROM stuck at animation boot?
this because you must change the file system from F2FS to EXT4 to done boot process
* reboot to TWRP.
* go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe.
* check Data -> Change file system -> select EXT4.
* swipe the screen to wipe it .
How can I fix Sim?
* go to Settings -> Extras -> disable "Sim Card Slot2 " and reboot.
How can I enable Google Codecs
* go to Settings -> Extras -> enable "Use Google H264" (it's a bit laggy but better than nothing).
How to enable Double Touch To Wake?
* go to Settings -> Extras -> enable "Double Touch to Wake"
Should I reflash the vendor partition if come from other roms?
* if you coming from Emui 5.x, the answer is no because the custom rom are based on Emui 5.0 source code, so all you

flash root.
Copy the phone.prop into /system/vendor and /vendor.
reboot, now you should able to do calls for more than 2 minuts
Calls still crash even with fix SIM
Run adb shell and type the following command xxd /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id .
the result will be something like the following out ( for single sim devices):

Search for your xxxxx000, and setup the following flags .
ro.config.client_number=1
ro.config.modem_number=1
persist.dsds.enabled=false
persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds (remove it properly)
for dual sim devices just edit these 2 flags:
ro.config.client_number=1
ro.config.modem_number=1

No, this bug will take time, because the actual drivers are used for Honor 6x proprietary blobs, for camera we must use the blobs from our phone and it is not easy to recognize them.

hey bro...there is another dev in the honor 8 lite section (pra-la1) who had the camera fixed on his ROM...the ROM uses the stock and unmodified vendor...i tested the ROMs and they were cool...but there was some lags in the app animations

Give me the link to apply the patch here too, could be better if we use our vendor since I'm make roms for pra-lx1 only if work I could release the camera fix with omni 7.0

camera is fully works on my pra-lx1, I will release fixed build of both slim and los-14.1 because I'm rework the device tree from scratch in that way users can flash roms without flashing the vendor.img
OH MAN, Finally i see more roms for this device, finally! i hope this one does not have the annoying reboot bug like the lineageos one
EDIT: AWESOME! i can reboot my phone without the annoying bootloop bug, but the phone signal is a little unstable, if you can fix that i can use this phone for daily use

I'm testing the device tree from p9 lite from Meticulus, because I run it aosp 7 on my phone and camera is fully works. so why not using it for our device too, of course once see camera works on my lineageos I'll upload it and start releasing all roms

Please allow me to ask you ... when you were using Haky's lieage do you get stuck on "your phone is rebooting now" because I can not bypass that screen.
And when I use this Slimrom, fingerprint and CAM are not working.

1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

Its modem dependent... Some has support and some not with the rom... I think i should mention it in op...

@HassanMirza01 yes man, LineageOS definitely needed a refresh after last updates dated july!! =) Only one thing; in OP when you say "Ensure that Stock/unmodified Honor 6X vendor is installed... (if you are on Elite ROM, any version, you are on stock vendor)", you mean to have the stock EMUI 5 vendor.img, or another one like EliteRom vendor.img..?

I flashed the ROM and it was so good...but there was some lags in app animations...they were slow and i hope you can fix that...

I think everything, I'm using Omni right now but this should work too, only bug for me is sometimes a little lag in animations and the notification led not always working other than that, the rom is bugless.

try reflashing, restoring cust and or vendor.
also try using footej camera instead of the stock camera
Hey! So I've got a bit of a problem. I flashed the OmniRom for the first time and it booted fine. The SIM wasn't working so I flashed it again but now the phone gets stuck on Your device is booting now... I've tried all three roms from you (OmniRom, AOKP, LineageOS) but i'm still stuck on the same screen. Kindly reply with a fix.
FYI: I wiped all the storages beforehand exept MicroSD card. I dont know if its because of that. Right now theres only an Obb and TWRP folder in internal storage.

1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

Hey decided to flash This ROM after my warranty period is over so I just had a couple of questions
1- what recovery should I use and if u can provide a link that would be nice of you ?
2- how good is the camera compared to stock and if someone would provide screenshots that would be very nice ?
3- if I need to roll back to stock ROM, how can I do that and would rolling back affect anything with stock rom ?
4- does this have 4G and Hw Composer (if not I am not asking for ETA, really kudos to you for developing such great ROM) ?

1. I use the Elite TWRP that's given in the forum just search for it (there are some rules for posting links etc so I can't give you one) but it's very easy to find.
2. The camera is of course not as feature-packed as the stock camera but you can still take good shots with it. You won't be able to take those bokeh-effect pictures but if you can live with that then the camera's fine
3. I actually don't know anything about that but if you desired to go back to stock then I'd just suggested to you that you flash the elite Rom as I find it better than stock.
4. On my sim card I receive 4G (in Germany) so there's no issues with that (for me at least)
On the hw composer.... It's not fully fixed as honor won't release the codes but these Roms use the p9 lite's he composer so the ROM is actually very smooth. I'd even go as far as saying that it is just as Good as a ROM with a "working" hw composer. I have a similar nougat ROM on one of my other phones and both phones run very smooth so there really isn't an issue

I understand that camera works with provided app, but does it support Camera API 2.0 correctly now ? Can I use other app to shot in raw ? Or does it have a messed colors as with stock rom?

Music app and audio fx crash, also camera crashes. Deleted those apps and installed phonograph, but cannot play songs (no audio / paused).
In fact there's no sound at all on notifications ,etc.

here a screen shot from my build right now, camera/audio and all other components are fine for me. I read on p9 lite section to fix those problems by flashing elite rom then the custom rom to fix audio and other bugs without touch /vendor partition used to boot emui, it's depend on /vendor partition.

I had the same issue. After flashing hakys vendor from his Unbricking guide the sound worked for me.
Maybe you should try that.

Didn't try the camera with my stock vendor. The sound bothered me enough to find a solution and flashing your vendor worked.
Camera is working with yours.

Got the ROM working except camera
Tried the SIM fix, now it doesn't see my SIM at all
PRA-LX1, UK, Dual-sim model with only one sim inserted, dual sim option in "extras" disabled.

Requirements:
TWRP.
Unlocked bootloader.
Unlocked FRP.
vendor.img: you must be on stock one, so don't wipe it because with other custom vendor.img will never ever boot.
Installation Guide:
Make sure to the stock backup saved on pc, I'm not responsible for any bricked or damage.
Reboot to TWRP.
Go to Wipe.
Choose Advance Wipe.
Check on Data and change file system to EXT4, will not ever boot with F2FS.
Wipe cache, data, dalvik and system.
Flash the rom.
Reboot and have fun then.

Bluetooth.
Camera: it's fully works with stock or other apps .
Display.
Graphis: both gralloc & hwcomposer.
Lights.
NFC.
RIL.
Sensors.
Storages.
Wifi
Bugs:
Dual sim might will not work all variants, so don't waste your time by asking me to fix it since my device is Single Sim.
You don't like it?, easy revert to Emui 5.x.

How to Install the ROM?
* reboot to TWRP.
* go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe.
* check Data -> Change file system -> select EXT4.
* swipe the screen to wipe it .
How can I fix Sim?
* go to Settings -> Extras -> disable "Sim Card Slot2 " and reboot.
How can I enable Google Codecs
* go to Settings -> Extras -> enable "Use Google H264" (it's a bit laggy but better than nothing).
How to enable Double Touch To Wake?
* go to Settings -> Extras -> enable "Double Touch to Wake"
Should I reflash the vendor partition if come from other roms?
* if you coming from Emui 5.x, the answer is no because the custom rom are based on Emui 5.0 source code, so all you
have to is flashing your favorite custom rom
Audio and camera are not working?
* bring up a logcat to help us, instead of writing useless comments.
I got error 7, how can I fix that?
* use my own TWRP recovery.

Everything working fine now. The ril sinal not as strong as stock One but ok. There is no auto brightness though. Its a bug or impossibility?

F2FS working on my honor 6x with your aospa,you need to change data to ext4 then reboot recovery and change data to f2fs and reboot system

wonderful rom but when i tap carriers codes in my dialer they don't show up.
