I am having an issues where if I try to log into opensubtitles ( under online subtitles > search) the whole app crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have Version 1.9.10. on my pixel XL running Android 8.0. Log files at dropbox (dot) com/s/xkvlvpg82bbixyj/report_2017-12-03_143813.zip?dl=0 Any help would be appreciated.

This error can be replicated on the Note 8 consistently (8.0.0 Oreo, Verizon) on the most-up-to-date version. I have just sent in an error report.

It seems to be caused by the accessibility services on the device. Can you please disable the talkback (if it is enabled) and check again? We have already fixed this internally and a new build is being tested by our private testers. Hopefully, it will be rolled out to everyone in the near future.

I got it solved. With you mentioning accessibility settings, I switched off all the toggles and then it worked. One by one I switched them back on until I found the culprit - bxActions (Bixby button remapper). Does not work well with MX Player when its accessibility toggle is on.

We will make an explicit exception for the accessibility features on the opensubtitles.org login fields in the future versions to prevent such crashes.
Was this ever done? I'm getting the exact same crash unless I disable bxActions on my Note 10.

You don't need a widget, one can just put a shortcut of the app on the home screen, so it is at hand when needed.
On the other hand a nice app icon would be nice.
Now to the program itself, it does not work on my device and rom according to my signature. Everytime when i try to open it it closes with an error message witch i cannot see correctly as it also closes immediately.

When an android app it should pop up with a dialog to submit an error. If you have logcat that would be great too!

That's odd since nothing changed. If it worked before it should work now.
As many of you will be aware, Samsung and more specifically for our needs, LG, devices have a strange SystemUI Crash when casting from certain apps (mainly the Google ones).
Why does this occur?
Well it is because LG and Samsung modify their status bar to include volume sliders, even if you disable the sliders the code still exists and this clashes with the way casting apps operate.
So for the fix, I asked my good friend @HomerSp to take a look at this error for me, now he doesn't have an LG G3 and this didn't benefit him at all, but he did it to help me, and for the fun of it, so all thanks should be directed to him.
He has built us an xposed module that stops the crash, as far as my testing has gone it seems to be working fine now.
The APK is attached.
Homer tells me he doesn't have paypal at the moment so don't worry about donating, if you really feel compelled to then please donate to charity, or give it to me and I will ensure that it ends up with either Homersp or a charity.
Are you a samsung user that found this page?
This module might fix your errors too, its worth a try it can't cause any harm as you can simply deactivate it if it doesn't work, or gives you different errors.

This fix worked for me running g3 ROM on my g2. Even on YouTube
Brilliant! It works on for Google Play Music.
After a few reboots it works for me too. YouTube was very lazy. Now it's okay

EDIT: I also added some information about why this bug occurs, in hopes that either Samsung and LG, or Google (yes, it's as much their problem as it is the manufacturers) fix this problem.
A lot of us are noticing the ATT and Sprint variant of the phone does not come with the brightness or volume slider in notifications. Can you shed some light as to how those of us who don't use cast can add the sliders back?
Any chance to get that working for the Samsung Note 10.1 2014?
Same issues with the installed apk as without it.

Whilst the crash on the Samsung is caused by the same problem (existence of the volume sliders) the exact crash might be different as Samsungs code will differ from LG's.
We would need to see a logcat of the Samsung crash in order to know what needs patching.

For your information, Xposedcastfix worked smoothly (screen mirroring) on Note 10.1 2014 LTE (P605) after installation (but without audio playing Asphalt7)). It stopped working after first disconnect. System UI has been crashing ever since. Worked with audio on second try after deactivating module/reactivating/reboot, but not on third and fourth tries.
I only have problem with 'Screen mirroring' but not chromecasting you tube etc.

Does SystemUI crash or hang (Force Close vs App Not Responding)? @Zod09999 has the same device (a Note 10.1 variant) and SystemUI hangs there. We are working on a fix for that.

1) profile image doesnt load and shows blank for all people
2) When i click the bubble (expected a small resizable mini window to chat ) but nothing happens. when i click the bubble goes and nothing happens no mini window or anything

Anikev, thanks for the feedback! As for your reports:
1) As stated in the app's description, a limitation in WhatsApp does not allow WhatsBubbles to obtain profile pictures in all situations. In those cases, the username's first letter will be used as a placeholder.
2) I haven't yet received reports from anyone experiencing this problem, very strange. When you tap the bubble nothing happens? What do you mean by "the bubble goes"?
I have not tested the WhatsApp beta. Perhaps it's a problem related to that.

Thanks Rodrigo for your reply. Your app is very good. I just tested on a friends phone and yes you are right. As I am using Whatsapp Beta, the bubble vanishes when i click on it to reply. But on regular Whatsapp it works perfectly. Kudos and cheers for your work.
In the near future i wish that you make this compatible with Whatsapp beta also as i cannot move out of WHatsapp beta. i want to stay on it. but take your time and bring to beta users.

Can you specify from which version it has started..?
MX Player's previous versions can be found here.

You can manually install & check form where It's broken. It will be helpful to fix the issue.

You can't install previous version over new version. You have uninstall the new version before installing the old one
That's what I did and tried with 3 different versions

i've tried back to .15
the only workaround is if you use airmouse with navigation buttons ,once menu opened with mouse pointer,
it's possible to go over menu and extend the sub menus .

i think easier put would be.
it is impossible to select and navigate in the OSD when a video is playing with a mouse.
once you click the 3 dot menu, it will disappear as soon as you move your mouse.
the only way to change any settings during a video is playing is using 4 direction navigation button with select key.
i'll try checking when it started if i can find some time.

Before this i used imito MX1 with same mouse (not airmouse) and i didn't have this problem. On phone and tablet works fine but on tv box can't use menu. When i open app menu disappears after 2-3s but from video it is so fast i can't open anything.

Hi, We are already investigating on the issue. Kindly Install MX Log Collector. Open MX Player & Reproduce the issue by opening the menu for few times. Then immediately open MX Log Collector, save the bug report & share here.
We are looking for logs from someone as we couldn't reproduce it in our test devices.
I hope this will help.

As you may have noticed, there is a way to activate the new RCS messaging service. There are a lot of guides on the internet but only this one worked perfectly on my N7 +. It's from the droi-life site and all the merits and credits are them. Below I leave a screenshot to prove it is enabled.
Turn off WiFi
Enroll in the Google Messages Beta (Play Link)
You might need to update Messages after enrolling in the beta
Restart your phone
Clear storage for Messages and Carrier Services (Settings>Apps> find each app and clear storage)
Install Activity Launcher and open it (Play Link)
Tap the top menu and choose “All activities”
Find Messages
Find “Set RCS Flags” and tap it
In ACS Url, choose “http://rcs-acs-prod-us.sandbox.google.com/”
In OTP Pattern, choose “Your\sMessenger\sverification\scode\sis\sG-(\d{6})”
Tap Apply
Close all apps open
Open Messages
You should now see a pop-up to “Upgrade Now” to RCS

I eventually got mine verified but now getting a message saying "unavailable for this device". Im with 3 in Ireland. What network are you on?

Can we test it? Got mine working but actually never tested.

It is showing it is currently unavailable for the device ... But the feature is working in my Asus Zenfone max pro m1 I have this issue only in my Nokia 7 plus

That's very strange lol
Few members from community forums also have reported that they were able to get this turn on. But it's only working for few.

Please read careful and follow the instructions
and don`t forget In OTP Pattern, choose “Your\sMessenger\sverification\scode\sis\sG-(\d{6})”
In the process, do I need to enable wifi at any stage ?
