This is the first ever rom i have made from the very start so please don't expect it to be perfect first time LOL, I made based from the UK Vodafone version of Android 5.0
I have removed all the vodafone bloat and added multi CSC selection to the AROMA installer, there are a few kernels to select from
This is the first release and test of a brand new ROM so treat it as such.
UPDATE -- 7/6/2015
V 2.1.0 ( 07/06/15 ) is now live its available through the download button, Rom is name Zaiden_Z V2.1.0

yea bud as stated this is just a test to test the stability of the base rom i ripped from Stock image before i actually start modding and adding features and such

The move over to a BOB6 based ROM went quite smoothly,
I have it up and running with my extended menu,
I have also added an advanced reboot menu,
Have fully Deodexed the rom thanks to new tool.
UPDATE WILL BE LIVE as soon as i finish testing.

yea i am hoping to add items such as this in the future, ATM im still learning alot about all of this, i am in no way a programmer or anything i just do this for fun and to learn,
im currently reading up on porting apps and roms from other phone to be usable on this rom, as soon as i have some knowledge within this area i am hoping to be able to port apps like S6 weather to this rom

i was testing Aurora Chinese rom for 2 hours but its customize settings are still Chinese, I will flash and will post feedback about everything

INTRO:
Welcome! This rom is for J500M (Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile...)
So, as you may have noticed, I'm Renato, i am a user of this device since November 2015, and i decided to create a ROM
for variant M because those available are variant F/FN (by @Force) and yet there is no 100% stable cyanogen so i decided to do this little work here and share with you. Oh, and i need a name for the ROM. Any ideas?

TW Crash Issue
Here is a workaround.
Make sure that twframework-res.apk, twframework.jar and main TW application is replaced,
and given permissions are rw-r-r(chmod 644) for apps to fuction as intended.
Also make sure that the applications you replace are deodexed!
For framework apps there's a trick to replace them, otherwise you will have an unrecoverable bootloop!
-Copy the apps you want to install to SD Card.
-Copy the apps to system else than /system/framework. (e.g /system/media).
-Give rw-r-r permissions.
-Cut and paste to /system/framework. If you don't get a bootloop by now, your apps will function.
The crash may be also due to different Android version, or different platform! (e.g if you port some apps from other than msm8916 platform, they will not fuction well).
Also maybe some libs from the other ROM will be needed.

I have a idea,what about the files used in A3 2016 for Nougat and similar? Could you use those and make it compatible for more devices?

A3 2016 doesnt have the new Icons. btw this thread is dead. support stopped bc many new roms comes with latest icons

A3 2017 does though on stock Nougat.

The S6 even on Nougat has the ugly WiFi icon & stock based roms also have it. Ported roms from S8 have the newer icons, but are full of bugs.
So thanks a lot for making this!
