Is There a way to make doubletap s-pen to open up s-memo like on stock note roms?
It opens everywhere no matter what app u are using..

As far as I know, No. The S-Memo needs Samsung Firmware. So if you want S-Memo you need to run a ROM with TouchWiz.

I'm affraid that is impossible, as far as I know.

I tried it several times, but unfortunately Android don't give a explicit failure, just "app not installed" but not why....

I believe for it to work the pen functions need to be hard coded like on samsung firmware

Now the only function i am missing is the doubletap function and s-note.

The only thing missing in our s4, in my opinion, is SNote as in galaxy note 2, including handwriting recognition and formulas. For the S3 it already exists (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997286), can we have also in s4?

No, there isn't things like the formulas or the writing recognitions and, i don't know, the new editing options for screenshots for example, i'm using a capacitive pen and it is working perfectly on my gs4

The app installs, i can open it, but if i create a note it crashes. The note is created, i can see if i restart the phone. Also, it shows me the first guide (the things that i can do with this, for example takes note, write maths formulas ecc...)
I've tried with odex rom (stock samsung), can someone tried with deodexed rom? Thanks
PS: I've built a zip that has only snote files (not calendar or similar), if you want i can post it, but maybe it is my mistake if it doesn't work

As i saw most of you doesn't like the new tapatalk version, also me.
Here you can get 2 different versions of tapatalk...
Tapatalk Classic (2.4.15) and Tapatalk Pro (4.9.5), so you can take your choise
Please note
Both are signed, so you dont will get updates or update informations.
The pro is not the pay version which you could bought some times ago!

Crashed on start
Do not have the problem, it starts and works without any problem. I am using KitKat but also tried with JellyBean.

Try going to app info and clear data + cache. Restart the app and it should work fine.

i've disabled auto-update for tapatalk but notification at reboot still there ....

Is working for me. U have to clear cache. I actualy clear data. And worked on my tmobile gs7 edge latest firmware non rooted. Rep to the op. Seems like we will end up with a galaxy s7 version of the galaxy s8. Same ui ,wallpapers and app

Notifications does work AFTER you restart your phone. If u just install the app, clear data and start using it, it does work but no notifications
Here is the problems: The Night Clock doesn't work; you have to uninstall update in order to make Night Clock work. I'm not sure if the S8 has night clock.
The 3rd party notifications aren't working too, however the restart fixes it.
That's all I can find though.
would be cool if some one could mod this to work with other phones. it tries to install but says it cant replace the file of the same name in use.
the double tap on the watch doesn't work. it doesn't show the other widgets like media controls.
and can I show the home button like on the S8 on my S7?

Was looking around in S7E system apps and there is another APK for AOD plug in. Maybe we can get the music and widgets working if we got the plug-in APK from the S8 system apps. Just a suggestion

I could not install the messaging app either. I believe it needs to be installed via adb? Or wait a few weeks for Oreo to come out.
I'm on Oreo (S8) and I was able to install emoji editor, but there's no icon on the app desk, so I can't open it.

Neither on CRB8 Oreo
I can install it, but can not see icon. Did someone install this right? I am on oreo stock, no root.
Emoji maker is not a standalone app. My guess is it needs the S9 camera app to startup.
And the problem is that the S9 camera app won't install here on crb7
