[Q] Watch hands misplaced (building Gear 2 Neo collection - need help)?

Hello all,
I am in the process of building a collection of watchfaces and wallpapers for the Gear 2 Neo.
I have downloaded and tested many watchfaces already - and found quite a few watchstyler faces where the watch face looks great in watchstyler (on my phone) but when testing on the watch, the hands are misplaced (they are not for example in the middle of the watch when they should be).
Two questions: how come that the watch looks good on the phone but is off on the watch? And: is there a fix?
Thank you all
PS: What is the best way to share my collection when its ready? So far it contains - nearly 400 wallpapers (clean 320x320 images); over 150 watchstyler faces (not all work - see above) and about 100 wgt files (they nearly all look good)...

Gear Watch Designer

Im loving the gear watch designer - it is simple powerful and flexible. What it isnt yet is stable.
While the crashes are to be expected with it being a BETA, I have one issue that is just bizarre - I have designed several watch faces and they've run fine in gear watch designer (I cannot for get my gear S2 connected to designer for love nor money), but have been rejected in the store as their watchface background has been black and blank, even though hands and complications display. Has anyone else had this issue? how did you get around it? Most of my watch faces have been fine but it is incredibly frustrating....
I also got the same black background issue and it looks like it's related to a bug in GWD when I define actions to change the watchface background (several backgrounds in my watches). I noticed that if I update the default background (just reselect the image) before building the app, it fixes the problem. So I just take care to do this before building the final version to publish on the store and check on my S2 that the background is correctly displayed.

Pik2Time 1.0.2 = Clock + Pictures + Puzzle

Hi guys,
Pik2Time is reinvented in the new version 1.0.2 !!!!
Our goal is to create a very minimalistic clock design to find the right balance between pictures and clocks. We want to see both: the clock and the picture at the same time.
At the same time, we want to customize our watchface as much as possible: 18 color schemes (single and double tone color schemes), 30 watch face designs and 37 background pictures.
Now you can change the watch face design by shaking your wrist while the clock is displayed.
Thanks that we have 37 pictures we added a puzzle with 3 complexity degrees (4, 9 or 16 pieces) and infinite levels. Now you can play your puzzle and enjoy the pictures at the same time.
Take a look at the Pik2Time video:
The Pik2Time app is available for the Gear2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear S and Gear S2.
As usual, your critics and suggestions are very important for us.
Thanks in advance,
JM

Hello Joseph,
Please, visit the Samsung Gear Apps Store to download the Tizen app. Pik2Time is a standalone app (only for the watch, no Android apk needed).
Kind regards,
JM

Complication Poétique Midnight Planétarium on Gear S2

Been working on a watch face for the Gear S2. Largely based on the gorgeous Complication Poétique Midnight Planétarium, with a few of my own slight changes. The "planets" orbit the Sun at their realistic speed (i.e 88 days for Mercury, 365 for Earth, etc.). What I've also done is to make each orbit section of the background also rotate at the applicable speed...so each day the background will be different (for 92 years at least). All shadows move realistically for whatever is rotating, as well as the small reflections on each planet. I still have no idea what I want to do with the white star, nor am I certain of where I want to put a date indicator...suggestions?

Gear Watch Designer - Customizable icon/button

I've just started designing watch faces for the Gear S2. I am using the latest version of Samsung's Gear Watch Designer on my macbook pro.
I have designed a pretty decent digital watch face that I am very happy with, which includes shortcuts/buttons/icons to my favorite appse. As of now, the buttons are not customizable from the watch.
That being said, I would prefer to make them customizable. Anyone have any tips?
I am not really a true "programmer", so maybe that's going to be my problem... but can this be done using Gear Watch Designer, or will it take actual coding?
Need a little more info: Are you only using the button choices that are available on the Button dropdown menu, i.e Properties>Action>Action Detail dropdown?
When you say customize the button, in what way are you trying to customize it?
