Hey all,
I know there is some scrolling issues and other touch problems (Exterior of screen). But I'm wondering if anybody else is having multi-touch problems.
I can barely pinch to zoom, zoom out..etc. I tried using a multitouch test app and it only picks up the second touch about 60% of the time. Before returning, I wanted to see if anybody else was having similar problems?
Somehow posted in wrong thread..my bad. I'll repost in Q&A.

when the mt3g or G1 is on a flat surface on its back touch input is stopped. i dont know if this was developed like that as it makes no sense. also some areas on the capacitive touch screen are less responsive most by the edges. if you have the screen protector on make sure its on snug no air pockets etc. I usually have issues with (p) so using apps like better keyboard etc helps with that issue.
So, I was hoping that someone may be able to develope something to switch the screen orientation without using the gyroscope sensor.
Why I ask for an app like this? Well, my Captivate currently has a broken Gyroscope sensor, and I know it is because no matter what is flashed it still doesn't work right. I did a large amount of research and found nothing on this :/
Sooooo Maybe someone might be able to develope and app like this? perhaps something similar to the way the new iPod Nano switches orientation when you use 2 fingers and flip the screen.
I downloaded a few different multi touch test apps and noticed specifically when I make a pinch gesture where two fingers are close together, the multi touch freaks out and flashes back and forward between the two fingers... Does any one else experience this?
Here is a video

Also it continues to flicker for about half a second after I let go
I don't notice any multitouch weirdness when I pinch zoom..
Do you?
Something about finding a "problem" only in "test mode" sounds like a friend who moves their arm and is saying "it hurts when I do this."
And all you can really think of saying is "well, silly, don't do that then."
Seriously though, do you notice any real world scenario where you pinch zoom and it flies around or something?
Maybe your fingers have an electrostatic bounce!
Just for fun, what test app are you using? I will try to duplicate it at any rate!
Sent from my sailfish using XDA Labs
Yes, when viewing pictures it won't zoom in till I grow my pinch pretty far, or in maps it will occasionally zoom out really far before zooming in.
I'm using multitouch visible test by bit power studios
Thanks
Hi there. Did you find a solution for this? I'm experiencing pretty much the same on my Google Pixel 2, except that it is like that no matter how far i pinch. It tends to bounce back and forth like that whenever i zoom, and it gets pretty annoying when you do stuff like zooming on pictures on instagram, when you have to hold the fingers there to keep the zoom. Do you think the digitizer is broken? Seems to be a bit jumpy using one finger too (tested with the app Multi Touch Test).
Hi everyone,
Is anyone experiencing this issue when trying to take a picture? I've been noticing it a lot.
Sometimes the final picture does not have it but now it's starting to show on the pictures I take and it's become an issue.
Anyone going through the same?
Forgot to attach the final picture and forgot to mention I'm converted from a TMobile to int version op7
Thank you
I don't know if this is the case, but light on certain frequencies can cause the camera to have weird stripes wandering across the screen like on old movies. Could be the same here.
I recently got a 7 Pro and I started seeing this tonight. Trying to get a video.
If they move on the viewfinder it's the lights
Hey Guys,
Saw an article on 9to5Google today about a shaking issue with the camera. I opened my camera app and sure enough I have that issue too. I didn't notice it until today.
My personal experience with this issue is when I open the camera app and place the phone in a stationary position, the image moves around slowly like the phone is being moved.
Mine isn't as bad as the video here.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Looks like a hardware issue. I don't have this issue on my P3XL. I am running Q Beta5 though. So, I don't know if its an issue with Pie.
i remember seeing more movement when i tested my device when it was new. figured thats how they got the extra pixels for high zoom
