looks like problem with battery. In my opinion, you should take your phone to nearest service center.

im posting here after really long time cause ive found a problem thats got me completely stumped.
i recently got a new battery and charger for my o2 xda, now when i plug it in for charging the battery meter shows that the phone is getting charged up [rather fast] however when i restart the phone it shows that the battery is desparately low and almost dead, how is this possible when it shows that the battery is charging fine before? ive tried changing between version of tnt but to no avail. however when i charge it from the pc via usb it charges fine and the fake charging doesnt show but real slow charging shows, can this be fixed? thanks

Try a base wm5 rom then go to a different wm6/6.1 rom from there, just an idea. I flashed my sister's Tilt with a rom and her car charger didn't work and as soon as she left town for 3 days the phone wouldn't react to wall charging, it would charge via USB only. i put a different rom on it and it's all fine. I know it's a different device, but it's an idea.

So today I flashed to ICS trought ODIN. I forgot to a hard reset. It worked fine until the battery drained to 2% and tried to charge but without sucess. I tried multiple hard reset, removing battery charging in the cable, pc. I don't think the battery is the problem, cause the phone is farely new and previous to my flashing I had charged and it was working fine.
see if you can get your hands on a s2 from a buddy or something and see if your battery charges in the test s2, try isolating the problem to see if its your phone or the battery. I know you said it was working fine prior the flashing through ODIN but you never know, maybe the battery just decided to take a crap on you afterwards without flashing having nothing to do with it.
Unfortunately I can't think of anyone with a galaxy s2, maybe I can take to the local service and ask them to check if the problem is the battery or the phone. Hope they don't charge me for that.
they shouldnt, ask before anyways...or take the battery to your carrier's retail store and see if they can charge it up on one of their phones..
Ok a friend of a friend of mine will charge my battery if the battery is not damaged. OK, but if it's ok. What could the problem be? Maybe the ICS version is unstable. I don't like ICS anyway, cause I revert back to my previous fimware without usb jigg.
If it isn't the battery, I wouldn't know what the cause would be. I could be a specific ROM issue but I doubt it...have other people complained about the same issue? Like you said, just revert back to stock and flash another ROM if you'd like.
Maybe a far out there idea, but - buy standalone charger from eBay (it costs 3 USD with free shipping). And you will be able to charge your battery without phone
That's a great idea, but I figured the problem out for now at least. But can somebody tell how to flash to stock firmware and will I be needing USB jig?

Since yesterday my SGR seems to be having weird battery issue, when i plug it in for charging it does not seem to charge, when i do it via USB cable it charges for a while & then the battery icon starts blinking (& charging stops) & it won't stop until i restart my phone.
if i shutdown the phone & allow it to charge via usb it charges fine.
The phone wasn't charging @ all few weeks back so i had the socket changed (it's out of warranty) it worked fine for couple of days & then this problem has started. i tried goggling the same but no luck. Any idea ? My charger works fine with other phones so i knw it;s not my charger also tried other chargers. :crying:

Since it's only been a few weeks I suggest you show it to the ssc from where you got the charging port repaired.. It definitely seems like a hardware issue..
Also type *#*#4636#*#* in the dialpad... It should open up a diagnostics page which will show battery stats...
It's either a faulty port(or internal connection) or something wrong with the battery

I think you must check both of your Charger(already checked) & Battery to other Phone(related to it)
If both are working fine for you in other Mobile then do visit SSC & ask them to repair at free of cost coz if they say NO then threat them for Consumer complaint. Hope they will say YES for you..:fingers-crossed:
That is the problem my friend, i dnt have any friends around me with the same phone to swap the battery & check if the problem is with my phone or battery. i suppose i'm gonna have to take it to SSC this weekend. i hope i get a good techy there to identify & resolve my issue
I have mt07 and it worked just fine till yesterday... My charger and USB cable are original and they work (i tried serveral phones and it charges them) While im in a system it wont charge like my USB isnt connected to the charger... When i turn it off and plug in it shows a battery on the screen like it charges but no indicators or anything... only way i can charge is turn off plug in while on green battery screen i hold Power and volume up and from several tries it works... Nothing else works i even tried when it charges like this i tried to start up the phone and it just kills the charging like its been unpluged... i even did a clean hole system wipe/reboot and nothing... Does anyone have this problem and is it solvable? i also tried to find some custom roms couse i thought it was a rom problem but 99% of the roms on this site (megadownloads) are been deleted from mirrors and i cant find any... Also i forgot to mention my phone isnt even rooted or anything didnt try to flash it or what ever its complete legit and i only did official updates. Please help Thanks in advance
My phone can only be charged by using wireless charger. Is there anyway to check if my USB port is spoiled?
Is it possible that custom ROM will caused this? previously i was using MIUI rom then changed to Nougat port, charging not working anymore after a while. I reverted to Marshmallow but still doesn't work.

Since you rolled back to stock, it can't be because of ROM, no way ROM can make such an influence on hardware. I say go check some 3rd party service center and ask for assistance.
