You can flash the full ROM with LGUP or Uppercut.
It's 100% completely stock.

Mingkee, I don't want to take over this thread with my issues can we chat on IRC or over PM? This is what I have tried so far.
1) Choosing Refurbish tells me the phone does not support "refurbish" process
20 Choosing Upgrade the process runs but the phone doesn't let me boot into recovery mode and I cannot lock the bootloader

You have to go to bootloader to lock or unlock bootloader not recovery (you will wipe the phone)

Has anyone actually seen that ROM (20e) posted anywhere? 'cause I sure can't find it and I know it won't be a rooted one from the gitgo so, guess I'll just stick with 20a for as long as I can but it would be nice to get the latest one available with some newer security patches I suppose.

Do you mean restoring a TWRP backup? It won't touch your recovery or your bootloader. Just make sure you wipe properly (system, data, cache, dalvik cache) before restoring.

Don't use a toolkit, they're nothing but trouble and inevitably cause problems. It's perfectly safe to flash the cm-12.0-YNG1TAS2I3 stock images and you'll find detailed instructions in my guide thread:

I think @EddyOS's script does relock the bootloader, which you definitely don't want because once relocked sometimes it won't unlock again. He'll need to confirm that though. It definitely flashes the stock recovery but you can flash TWRP again.

Managed to flash MM 6.0.1 T-mobile firmware on Verizon S5 with CID 11

Not responsible for anything that goes wrong.
Follow the steps Here EXACTLY then install Super-Su Me
(You need Super SU to continue)
Once you're done download Here and
Put 'G900TUVU1GPE1_G900TTMB1GPE1_G900TUVU1GPE1_HOME.tar.md5' in your sd card or phone storage (doesn't matter)
Install Flash fire (allow root) and touch the plus on the bottom right. Select "flash firmware package" and select the file you put in your storage.
Once it is finished you're gonna see it reboot and show a screen telling you it failed. Take out the battery and reboot into Download Mode.
Launch Odin, press AP and flash both the recovery and the boot files.
once done, remove you're battery and reboot into recovery, wipe data and cache.
you're all done!
Boot may take a while (2.40GB Firmware) so make sure it stays in a cool place. It will get hot.
Screenshots coming soon
Can we get a link to the T-mobile firmware? Great find!!! I can't wait to see some nice 6.0.1 roms.

Can you verify you are Rooted on a MM ROM with a CID 11 chip please.... Talking about screenshots here.
I only ask because I think some people are misunderstanding what you accomplished. I don't believe you are actually rooted on a MM ROM with CID 11 chip.

I have to agree... There's a lot of brilliant minds that put a lot of thought into unlocing the 11 chips bootloader. Which is necessary to run 6.0 rooted roms. To my knowledge u would be the first to actually do it. I just don't imagine it being accomplished in such a sloopy and simple manner.
verification needed, probably unrooted.
Alright, so i recently got stuck on the tmobile screen and won't continue again, tried reflashing and doing everything over and it did not work, this time i tried it with Lolipop (tmobile version) and this one worked this time, not sure what went wrong or what i did to get it, but with MM it boots up to t-mobile screen now
So you can boot a stock Lollipop T-Mobile rom on a Verizon S5? I have to see the proof. Pure stock. Unrooted. Screenshots.

the base has to be the same if you are on lollipop you can flash a lollipop g900t firmware it has to do with fact that you on a lollipop kernel that's why mm t mobile firmware didn't work
to do this the easy way flash only the system img in flashfire then you can be on g900t firmware on your s5 verizon
you have to use the closest lollipop g900t firmware you might have to try a few until you don't have cell connection problems
for me to have g900f firmware on g900v ok3 and boi3 firmware didn't have cell connection problems
I didn't get it to boot either maybe some one more experienced can get of to boot

No, rooting it would not affect the unlock status, and yes it will still be unlocked if you flash a custom ROM as long as it supports it. Ex: if you flash an AT&T ROM, it will only work on AT&T

Honor 8 very hard brick

Hello,
My honor 8 is hard bricked, I wished to install custom Rom and it was encrypted so I decided to return to EMUI, I installed stock recovery I installed rollback package to emui 4.1 and emui 4.1 now i'm stuck on boot screen.
I can't go to Recovery settings or dload method, I can just go on fastboot and do nothing.
I can go to fastboot mode but I have this message when I try to flash anything... "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)" FRP is locked
Will Phoenix DC will work for me ? To unlock FRP and flash manually ?
Please help me
You can try to boot a recovery like TWRP in fastboot mode
Type in:
Code:
fastboot boot "recovery.img"
You also can try to format the system partitions. It will maybe unlock FRP, but i don't think that it will work.
Commands:
Code:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase data
fastboot erase cache
Which model of the Honor 8 you have?
DC Unlocker is a nice idea. When nothing works, you have to use it.

I ended up using the rollback to marshmallow package. Once I rebooted, the phone started updating. It took me like 3 or 4 updates to get to the latest version. Team MT's Huawei Multi-Tool – Works with Honor 10 !

Hey Folks,
I recently stumbled upon Team MT's quite useful Huawei Multi-Tool – but didn't find anything about it in the Honor 10 Forum although it's compatible!
First of all I have no connection to Team MT at all, so this thread is just about the usefulness of the Tool and what you and I might experience using it.
Also I'm not responsible for any damages/issues caused by this tool.
The tool might come in handy for people that are uncomfortable using cmd/terminal commands or get confused too easily.
Of course there are still a lot of things that could go wrong so if you're not sure what you're doing or what the consequences might be, just don't flash anything.
To use the Multi-Tool, you'll have to have your bootloader unlocked and the phone connected to your pc with adb installed.
When the tool shows you the (right) phone model in the lower right, you're good to go.
With the help of the Multi-Tool, you can
ROOT your Honor 10 with Magisk
flash TWRP
flash STOCK RECOVERY
unlock various small features
All with just a few clicks.
You can download it at Team MT's website:
http://pro-teammt.ru/huawei-multi-tool/
I for instance used it to flash the stock recovery after I had installed TWRP, so I could get regular OTA updates through the system again.
I'm curious to see if there are other people that have used the tool as well or what people that just heard of it now will use it for.
Is an unlocked bootloader required for the tool to root the phone and flash custom recovery?

The Stock recovery just appeared inside the Multi-Tool, where I was able to download and flash it, I didn't download or back up anything beforehand.
Isn't there some dropdown menu where you can choose the recovery to flash?
I've been flashing it onto my COL-AL10 AND my L29, so it works either way.
