Not working on batman rom. No sound from speaker and headphones in app like youtube or soundcloud and tidal. When calling speaker is working. Please help because i have not do a backup. :/
Doesn't work on Racerom oreo rom. Installs but in viper says driver unsupported

dirty flash your current rom on top and you will be good

i tried to flash zip in cm12.1 Rom, Flashing worked fine but when lunching the dolby audio i got fc. will proving logcat will help? any known issue there in cm12.1 ? i have music and viper installed already and se linux is permissive

I helped develop Atmos with worstenbrood and aki_007. This is definitely a 100% copy.
Just looking at the apks I can tell.

i don't understand what do you mean , but it has viper in the install bundle and you can tweak both of them to work together

I have developed the emui to accommodate Dolby atmos K.K and Viper4audio into a 3 stage zip file. First flash :
Viper4android (modified script from guitar hero orig source)
Atmos ( modified and ported from Mr Lalsin)
Lexmark Atmos 1.05 Mr_Lalsin edition ported of a port.
All files will be uploaded shortly ,.

oh, yes I did have them.... I removed them and then flashed the 3 files... I thought they would give me new configuration for VIPER... You know configuring VIPER is sometimes hard....

this for nougat, and we couldn't flashed viper4 and dolby by normal way before, he did it by this mod the only change in this mod the dolby is different maybe this new version from dolby, but the voice or music is loud and better.

try befor flashing this mod from recovery go to mount and tick on system then return to main menu and install it again.

actually ive got a problem that the recovery is writing ''cant mount storage'' after installing any zip file and it's not detecting my internal storage right.
I have no idea what to do

I also WISH there was a sound mod. This phone has the potential to have great sound output but I feel it's not calibrated and can sound far better!
It's boomy, bass heavy but lacks in treble. Needs more treble to set the balance as the bass overpowers it.
Shame Dolby Atmos does not work with the Mate 9. If it did we could at least use the equalizer and manually boost the 8k and 16k values to get more treble!

There is something else you can try. Tried it on 3 different devices.
Best thing it does not require root and works on all 3!
In Google Play Store, look for ''Volume Booster'' by GOODEV. It's a red icon. Simply set it to 10% or even 15% and see the difference. :laugh:
PS. Do not set it too high, the boost really makes a huge difference, careful not to blow your speakers.
Any update on this? Would really like some sound mods for my device, if not Viper than something else... i'm surprised that no one has found a solution yet...

I've used Jet, and found that Equalizer FX is a better option... Sadly not comparable to Viper but it'll have to do. I would pay good money for a working Viper for EMUI8.

Unfortunately, JamesDSP didn't work for me. It opens and closes immediately. Followed all the instructions perfectly. MHA-L29 8.0.0.373(C567)

It should work. Works on my Honor 8 Lite and also on Honor 6X. If you use Magisk there's a very low chance of bootloop, and you certainly won't brick it. Give it a go, I think it'll work for you!

Are you on stock emui8 or custom rom?
I'm on a custom rom. Maybe try installing Resurrection Remix or another custom emui 8-based ROM... Then it'll certainly work. However some people did get it working on stock emui8.

Check this link out.. Apologise in advance if you do not understand hindi.
With this you can flash dolby atmos using magisk. (do not do it via recovery, not sure what happens).
This doesn't crash or anything like that.
Use dolby only for earphones,
Also, be warned that, using dolby for speakers could damage speakers.. Redmi note 7 pro speakers were not meant to handle dolby.
