I have a lenovo p2 and when i use its own charger it heats a lot (the phone), and i think it can damage the battery... The only way to prevent it from fest charging is to use another charger? If yes, what charger can i buy from gearbest or another store? I like to use my xiaomi redmi note 3 pro charger (5v, 2A), it charges at a good speed and doesnt heat. But i will sell the xiaomi, so i dont know what charger to buy (doesnt found the xiaomi for sale). Thanks!

I bought a Lenovo p2 wich have fast charging, but i charge the phone at the night and i dont need the fast charging feature, and the fast charge heat the phone a bit. I think it is more healthy for the phone to not use the fast charging if i dont need. Am i right?
So, can i use a charger and a cable of redmi note 3 pro? Or should i buy another from another brand? Thanks!
I don't know what the official word on this is. But I use chargers of other phones all the time. I have never had a problem so far.
Hello guys,
Can I charge my oneplus 7 pro with my laptop’s charger at work? I just got the phone and don’t want to fry it. Also if charging with the laptop’s cable is possible, would there be any damage to the battery? The Lenovo charger has this info for its output:
20v-3.25A
15v-3A
9v-2A
5v-2a
Thanks.
Most modern devices are pretty hard to damage with real chargers from anyone, being as your charger isn't some weird knockoff I would bet that it charges just fine but likely at its lowest mode which will charge the phone like a normal phone brick as opposed to the warp charge.
Hi,
I just got my new OP7 pro that is replacing my samsung S8.
As i have S8 chargers and even older chargers (like for S6) I wonder if I can use "regular" charger / samsung S8 car charger / xiaomi power bank charger on my OP7 pro?
The warp charger is great but I have only one... and basically the most 2 issues I can think of is charging my OP 7 pro while driving (I have car charger for my old S8)
or while away, I have a xiaomi power bank charger.
So, I would like to know if:
1. is it possible? (probably if so it will charge slower... but it is ok)
2. will it damage my OP 7 pro battery in the long term?
3. Can i Use other USB-C cables?
Thanks for your help.

Charge with any cable. Only warp bank and cable will charge at full speed as you're aware.
So, 1 yes, 2 no 3 yes

And you can charge with DASH chargers too. I do this with my old Oneplus 3T charger and there is no problem. This is not fast as WARP but faster than regular chargers.
Great, thank you all for the answers.
I bought a poco F2 Pro as in new condition, everything else is just like the new phone except no turbo charger, I phoned xiaomi they don't / won't sell me one, I've had a look and found a genuine huwaei 40w fast charger do you think think this will charge at least 80%-85% as fast the bog standard xiaomi charger is came with slow as f
I'd recommend a quick charge 3 charger of some kind... that's what I use anyway.
Huawei charger doesn't charge as fast - I have one from p30 pro. Huawei has a different standard.
Depends on your budget. Look for something with Quick charge 3 or 4 support.
I bought a Baseus Gan 2 Pro for myself, and so far is fine - but is a bit expensive. It charges almost as fast as original one
I use this charger from Amazon and charging with Mi Turbo

Yes, but find the second generation, which has 65W on all three ports and is very often sold at same price
Plus, it's a bit smaller.
I read online that using a higher wattage charger does not harm the battery as the phone will only pull what It needs so I am using my vivo x80 Pro 80W charger. Is that ok?
It'll be fine, the charger is in the phone and will only draw what it needs, what we call a charger is just a PSU really.
The phone will negotiate what it wants and the charger will supply it, a charger being able to supply over double the phones' maximum isn't a concern.
got, thank a lot
Make sure the charger supports PPS or you're in for a really slow time.
Hello. I had one of one smartphone Honor that it has 100w charge and the Pixel did not recognize it. Not charging anything.
