Hello devs!
I have just published my new Android App: Call Me, Please
Sometimes a phone call at the right time can take you away from an awkward situation like annoying conversation or boring meet.
In these moments, imagine if your phone starts to ring: you could finally say, "sorry ... I have to answer."
With Call Me, Please, you don't have to hope for someone to call you! It will be the app to do it!
When the situation becomes uncomfortable just click and after a few seconds or minutes (you decide), the app will simulate an incoming call from who you want!
For more informations and download:
Call Me, Please - Play Store
Just released... please feel free to check it out and let me know if you have suggestions, comments or simply if you like it!

Call Filter Alarm - Play Store
Busy Redial - Play Store
Thank you!

Tried it just now. It works.
But, somebody that gives attention to details might get user interface for incoming call is different. Since practically it's hard to get all the different incoming call UIs, may I suggest you to make it look like WhatsApp Incoming Voice Call or something mainstream like that.

I was thinking about implementing the most common incoming call UIs.
Your suggestion about WhatsApp Incoming voice call or similar is a great idea!
Thanks!
I am glad if I helped.

Hello all,
As a guitar player I've been missing a proper mobile application to record ideas that might pop into my head when I don't have a guitar (or recording studio) around. I got the idea of quickly being able to tap down tabulature and rythm into an app one year ago and started developing the app immediately. It has taken a long while, especially getting that latency down and make a responsive user experience. I've released the first version which I think many people will find useful, but I will continue to develop more features based on user feedback.
Creating a riff or solo is a two step process.
1. Touch all the notes you want in your riff. This includes bends, vibratos, palm mutes, chords etc. Do not think about timing of the notes, that's in step 2.
2. Press the "Record" button (button with circle in middle on top of screen). Tap when the next note should be played / strummed until the end of the song.
If you are happy you can now save the riff, or experiment further.
If you'd like to store the current state of your riff, you can save and clone it to continue in another file.
Anyways, I'd like to tell you about my app, hopefully you like it. It's available for Android phones currently, and should work on both phones and tablets.
Watch demonstration and get it at Google Play. :cyclops:
Also, suggestions or feedback is most welcome!

I've been looking for something like this for a very long time. I often have riff ideas and humming them into my phones voice recorder doesn't cut it.
This will work great! Thanks for the hard work!

I'm afraid that you forgot to add a link to play store!

Sorry didn't saw that you got low posts count
I've just watched the video and that looks great. I think I may have to check this out a bit more once I get time. Excellent app.
Here's a play link for those interested: Mod edit: Link removed.
@guitarman8 While I appreciate the effort and hard work that's gone into this, and may well buy the app myself, you're not allowed to use us to advertise paid apps unless there is also a free version.
I'll close this thread for now, but PM me when there's a free version and I'll open it for you again

This is an app that I have created, simply named "Spammer". Not that I condone doing this a lot, but this app is able to send large amounts of spam to any phone number you choose. I am fairly new to android app development, so this app is still a work in progress. Feel free to test, and hit the thanks button if you enjoy the app.
Current features:
Ability to send SMS (Carrier and Google Voice)
Upcoming features:
Material Design (After Android L is released)
Github:
github.com/fw3254/Spammer
The apk file is located in there
TESTED USING NEXUS 5 AND MOTO G

JUST UPDATED
Changelog:
-Google Voice integration
-Built with Android Studio
-Contacts button doesn't work (yet)
The apk is now in the root of the github link located in the OP
Feedback appreciated
Some feedback :
- can you add an option to spam the creator of the app?
- can you make it so it doesn't actually send out the messages but only tricks the user in thinking they were sent?

Hi all, I am pleased to announce you that I have published my first App on the Google Play Store.
Let me introduce the App
Briefly, it is an utility which let you refuse an incoming call and immediately call your contact back by showing an overlay button over the screen.
From a developer's point of view, the most challenging issue was to be able to show an overlay Android's View over the smartphone's system screen which is able to react to button's events and can be moved by drag&drop in any position of the screen. At the same time, all the widgets under the floating view are able to react to their events as well.
Feel free to ask for coding details if you are interested in this topic.
Your feedbacks and suggestion on how to improove the App are welcome too!
Best Regards
barban

Official Description on Google Play Store
Fast Callback Free - Call your contacts back by just one tap
How many times in a day you refuse an incoming call from your relatives or your friends just to call them back? This is a very common task when you wish to take advantage of a more convenient mobile phone contract or just let your contacts not to pay when they call you.
When you receive a call this App shows an overlay button that let you refuse the call and immediately call your contact back; everything just by tapping one button! You can choose for which contacts the call-back function is available as well as the button's style, size and position in order to let the overlay button fit perfectly with respect to the screen which is shown by your smartphone when you receive a call.
This is the FREE version of the Callback App: it may display Ad at the end of the call started by the call-back function. If you wish, buy the Callback App for avoiding Ads.

No discouragement intended, but most of the stuff you've written down is possible with Google Assistant; With the exception of adding numbers into the contacts (which is redundant anyway or not entirely useful at all).
So yeah, you're app in fact does try to resemble a voice-triggered assistant. Thing is, you can just call GA and ask it for the same stuff and it'll pop the results instead of first opening your app and then clicking on the specific tile to launch f.e. Google Search.
Again, no discouragement intended, but the app just doesn't seem to have actual productivity value in it.
People can always use the dedicated app for the required service and those usually have Voice Search.
Nice! Working!
Thread cleaned.
