No, your warranty will only be void when installing a custom bootloader and rooting the device.
As soon as you have installed TWRP for example your Knox will be void.
As long as you don't do this and just disable apps you will be ok...

Yes it will work for S8, but be aware!
Many of the apps listed here is in use by many people.
To do a perfect debloat you need to find out for yourself what apps and apk files you need to run your own setup.
There are many example of people who are debloating without concern, just to find out things they use won't work.

Sure, i'm aware
I will do a first wipe
Then see what's missing
Then remove what i need from the list
Again, thanks & have a good day :good:
Edit : After running the script, the phone didn't boot
( S8 unrooted G950F )

HELP
I accidentally disable the "search phone" above the apps icon. Which code is that? thanks

Thank you kindly for putting in the time to test these. I've made a similar thread in the OG Moto X forums.
I've made some adjustments to your extensive list for my specific use case and quite pleased with the results in terms of performance and battery life. I'll continue testing and tweaking until I'm satisfied and post my finalized list as well.
I will mention that disabling com.sec.imsservice on my S8 G950W appeared to be stable, until I restarted the phone. At that point the IMS service began to FC non stop, which is easily remedied by re enabling said service. Even with the other IMS services enabled, the same behavior was observed. Likely I have a feature enabled somewhere that requires it I suppose.

help with disabling these

THAT QR CODE, IS THIS A WAY I CAN DISABLE THESE ALL AT ONCE. Thanks

This is great.
Not long ago I posted a question in this forum asking if anywhere has a verified "Debloat list" for the S8+ and finally here it is!
When I tried to de-activate some packages myself I had a big problem. The phone was working fine, but couple of days later the google account got corrupted and the phone became unusable. I had to wipe everything and re-flash to get it back to life.
So I would recommend to test these carefully cause a potential problem may show up a few days later

Can I use this same list for Galaxy Note 8?

Great! Thanks... I'll try a few of them. Did it improve your battery performance a lot?

Hi there, using the G955F and using this list, my phone keeps showing "acore keeps stopping" then everything tried to crash like google etc, rebooted phone and it just wouldn't boot back up, any idea which service might be the problem?

From what I remember when I had this on my S4, it was something to do with contacts sync.

Oreo CRB7 update
Thanks for your hard work man.
After updating to Oreo Build Number CRB7, the list seems decreasing..
From 250 becoming 220-ish..
I hope you can make an Oreo debloat list too
Thanks in advance man

tf300 10.4.9 jelly bean bootloader

I don't know if that is the right forum.
I have compaered the new bootloaders for the different countrys on my tf300t with the old bootloaders.
My tab is UnLocked.
I can switch between bootloaders (dd if=blob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4) but not apply changes (I could not change "The device is UnLock" to "I have changed that")
I have unpack different blob files.
There seems to be an checksum in the bootloader for all countrys the same. On the end of all blob.EBT files is random data.
Does anybody know the checksums (It seemed to be AES and RSA)?
Here I compared the outputs of hexdump:

if you want any chance of flashing this through fastboot you will have to blobpack and attach the "signed by blob sign" header.
most likely it is RSA signed and wont get flashed if it has been modified, you might be able to find the bootloader in mmcblk0
and dd it that way, if you mess up your tablet will be bricked no fastboot no adb and it will be RMA time or time to hack in a
JTAG on the motherboard.

I can't flash a knew bootloader with fastboot cause signature missmatch. The knew bootloader parts are signed and won't flash even with unlock and with "-SIGNED-BY-SIGNBLOB". The bootloader partition of blob does have a digital signature.

[Q] Internet NOT STABLE - NOR WIFI nor NET

Hi everyone ,
I am Rahul from Delhi , India .
My Atrix 2 has been behaving very weirdly .
From the very first day (its 3 months old now) i had this issue of WIFI connection lost , it used to connect to wifi , it will stay good for 5 10 minutes and then it will just not work , though the wifi icon will REMAIN in the notification bar and will REMAIN BLUE. I had to disconnect and then reconnect for it to work and then again the same story , it wont work again after 5 minutes and again reconnect.
I had to do this 100 times a day to use Whatsapp.
BUT the vodafone net (GPRS) used to work for hours continuously.
THEN came the ICS update and MAGIC .
EVERYTHING GOT FINE , WIFI would stay on for like hours without a single drop.
Now again since 3 days again the same issue .
Now its EVEN WORSE .
WIFI goes off after 5 minutes , and SO DOES THE vodafone NET.
I am helpless.
What should i do
can you provide a logcat?
adb logcat -v long > /sdcard/logfile.txt
Or you can try this instead:
adb logcat -b radio > logcat_radio.txt
to get the logcat information about radios
I have a somewhat similar problem as the OP.

Sorry i am new to this thing , i provided you with the normal log .
I tried a lot to get the "adb logcat -b" but i couldn't figure out how to.
I found a page which had the procedure get the logcat but the procedure started with "android-sdk_r10-windows.zip" but this now has been replaced by "android-sdk_r20.0.3-windows.zip" on the developers website and this new version does not have ADB ,it has "AVD" .
Please guide me through .
I really need your help to sort out this issue , its very very irritating

well, actually, the adb files can be downloaded via the Android SDK Manager(by ticking Android SDK Platform-tools and install it). However, if you can generate the normal logcat, then you should be able to generate the radio for logcat though.
And the command is "adb logcat -b radio", not "adb logcat -b" (which I believe is the error)

witch ICS firmware you using?
you have RIL errors, you must flash the correct radio image for your operator.
if you are in 6.7.2_EDEM-18-ASIAOPS_cfc.xml.zip ,then flash the 6.7.2_EDEM-18-SEARET_cfc.xml.zip
if same error , flash the 6.7.2_EDEM-18-MEARET_cfc.xml.zip
bafore flashing anything, install CID getter app from play market, and put the make a screen-shots for all data on application. and put here

NO , my phone is not vodafone branded , its unloacked by default and i use a vodafone sim.
These are the details :
System version : 672.1.18.MB865.AsiaRetail.en.03
Android version : 4.0.4
Firmware Config version : GAS_ASIA_EDISONICSRTSEA_P018
kernel : 3.0.8 -g635d08a
Bulid Number : 6.7.2_EDM-18
But this is the first time i am facing this problem (since 3 days) in 3 months and what is the reason for WIFI not working ??
"install CID getter app from play market, and put the make a screen-shots for all data on application."
Which data are you talking about ?
what screen shots should i take ?
Thanks

did you had another device plugged at the usb port? remove it. Or if you have any other android emulator running(the ones from avd, or bluestacks and etc), disable it as well as it will interfere with the process
i need the baseband version from "about phone" also
and at least, the 1-2 page of cid getter , from gsm.network.type to hw.hdmi.statue
and persist.ril.features to ro.3lm.production page 5-6
---------- Post added at 07:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 PM ----------
did you changed in advanced wi-fi options : keep wifi on during sleep to (always)?
your log have no info about wifi, start a full logcat session and then connect to wifi and open any website.then stop the logcat

Hey i reinstalled the usb drivers and now i can get the logcat in command prompt window.
But the prob is the starting portion disappears as the new entries start comming.
What point should i start the log and finish so that u get what u need .
This is the log when i used the GPRS and it was working fine throught the duration.

Sir i am not sure wether Wifi was on or the grps was on when i took the CID getter snapshots.
If u want anything specifice , like snaps again with wifi on i can do that again for you .
The phone came with gingerbread (2.3.7 i guess) and i upgraded it to ICS over-the-air (OTA) .
NO the phone is NOT rooted.
No i dont use any third part application for wifi manager/monitor . However ICS has in inbulit data monitor .
I am attaching logcats herewith , the first one is when the GPRS was connected and stopped working .
The second one is when the WIFI was connected and STOPPED working during the duration .
I managed to capture both
Thanks again
A factory reset has made things go from bad to worse. Now the phone just cannot hold mobile signal, which swings like a pendulum. And the less said about the data connection, the better :'(
I have some data issues (wifi+hspa+).i'm working around the problems.

I'm so confused, i thought the 410 was 64-Bit http://www.arm.com/products/processors/cortex-a/cortex-a53-processor.php i mean it's not a big deal but i just wondering why it uses 32 bit software?

Ohhhh thanks for the reply.
Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
The Cortex A53 in this phone is 64 bit capable. One can build a 64 bit kernel and it can be made to run on this hardware. Motorola decided to stick with 32 bit for the E and G because 64 bit Android behaves poorly with 1 GB RAM. Motorola's binary blobs are 32 bit, and thus custom ROMs wil be 32 bit only for now.
We would have probably had 64bit software if not for the 1GB model... Going 32bit also makes their work easier.
@squid2, so is it possible to change the software to 64bit unofficially/

.nomedia contains assembly?

So the other day I noticed a strange folder on my Idol 3 6046I phone:
.eCtcQjbu1dgnvtFnvnr6yepTp1M=
Inside this folder I have a .nomedia file. These files from what I understand are not supposed to contain any data, but this one contained some binary data when I opened it in a hex editor:
a0 3f 3b 2b 13 44 e8 89 5d e1 0e c9 cc d5 d1 7b f5 07 e3 b8 55 46 b0 fa dd 61 b9 ac c3 40 3d e2 cc bf 3b b9 ec 8c 39 44 10 82 94 aa 54 27 ba cf 43 74 6b bb 51 ee 10 b8 bc c3 2d e7 1f f7 e3 63 7c 06 88 53 9d 8c f3 33 a7 e3 eb 22 cc d0 e7 0f 24 52 68 97 33 fe e3 f4 15 b0 6a 86 66 5e 1a 96 3b f8 1e 22 83 42 d3 97 7d 7f e4 7e 03 d7 8c dd 92 39 d2 7a 3a ea cf 73 49 8d d7 ab df 3f 51 7d 01 3d b1 64 19 3d 05 a3 e2 c1 ff 95 33 02 47 e1 4e fa f2 4f 50 80 19 cc 9e 48 e2 46 4e 44 02 51 e6 4e 40 33 6b f4 d6 ba 7d b9 42 4f 29 aa 13 6e
Idol 3 uses the ARM Cortex A-53 and CPUz tells me the kernel architecture is armv8l, I have not been able to find a hex to armv8l converter but when I converted it to armv7-a I got this:
HTML:
BLHS #0xECFE88
STMIBHI R8!, {R0, R1, R4, SL, LR} ^
STMDBGT LR, {R0, R2, R3, R4, R6, R8, SP, LR, PC}
BLVC #0xFF475744
STMLT R3!, {R0, R2, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, SB, SL} ^
BLX #0xFEC11970
LDCGE P1, C6, [SB], #0x374
EORS R4, SP, #0xC3
LDMDBLT FP!, {R2, R3, R6, R7, R8, SB, SL, FP, IP, SP, PC}
LDRTMI R8, [SB], #-0xCEC
BGE #0xFE520870
SVCGT #0xBA2754
BLLT #0x1ADD144
LDMDALT R0, {R0, R4, R6, SB, SL, FP, SP, LR, PC}
I don't believe .nomedia should contain anything that can be translated to assembly code, any advice on how to troubleshoot my phone / how to do a complete factory purge of it is appreciated.
