Obviously, there were no other replies here... but I was hoping you may have found an android wear apk that supports the Gear 2 camera elsewhere since you posted this. I've been looking for the same thing.

Hello all, I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 today.
How well does Google Talk function with this device? I saw that video calling works, but can you see the corresponding chat as well?

Anyone have luck with using a gear s with a none Samsung phone? Or running android wear on a gear s??
Would love to get a non Samsung phone soon and still be able to use the watch. Pretty much only use the watch for GPS apps to run.

Recently got this watch and now i got severely annoyed with my S6 edge so i got me a new Lumia 950XL. Now I am trying to link devices anyone got any ideas? Amazing that tizen hasn't got support for all the mobile OS'
Please help me out guys I don't want to have to change this watch too I was quite happy with the watch.

It's not compatible : search "device compatibility samsung gear s2" on google and click the first link. (I can't give you the link because my account isn't old enough on this forum.)
Hi Guys,
Look for the Gear 2 to be my first ever smart watch, but just need with some simple questions answered, even after reading the forums, I'm not clear. Appreciate your help:
1. Is it true with the modded Tizen NE5, I can pair the Gear 2 with ANY Android phone beyond 4.4.2 like the LG V10 for example?
2. If Q # 1 is yes, can I use all features of the G2 like the IR Blaster, Camera, Cellular capability?
3. Last question, if I put Android Wear on it, I understand the Camera won't work? What else? The sound? Speaker and mic for calls?
