I was wondering if it would be possible to add the whole dock bar (app drawer button and pinned apps etc..) vertically to either the left or right side of the desktop... Rather than having it stay at the bottom
As an option of course....
Also, ram consumption might need to be further optimized
Keep up the great work tho... Really do like this launcher

thx for your support and your suggestions~
for "add the whole dock bar vertically", due to the restrictions of google design on displaying app widgets and other related things, this may make it not possible to put the whole dock bar vertically, very sorry~
though all suggestions and advice will be thought about by me, i also will keep up working on it~ thx very much!

No worries mate... It was only a suggestion
Maybe you could implement some different app drawer configurations.... Such as custom grid sizes and possibly a list style app drawer as well...
Would like to see how this develops..
Hi All
Got my hands on a SM-N900 and updated Wave Control to take advantage of Samsung finally letting 3rd party devs have access to the Gesture Sensor.
Now there are five gestures you can do:
Hover (It's a bit lower on this phone than others)
Left Wave
Right Wave
Up Wave
Down Wave
Default Actions are:
Hover: Play/Pause
Left Wave: Previous Track
Right Wave: Next Track
Up Wave: Volume Up
Down Wave: Volume Down
But since this is the Pro version those assignments can be changed. They work for phone controls as well.
Since XDA has been so good to me, here's a version of Wave Control Pro that will only work on the Note 3. Let me what you think!
I think I've ironed out all the bugs...
Updated version is being uploaded to the Play Store.
Edit: Adding YouTube vid
Hi, thank you very much for your generous act.
May I suggest adding the option of showing the multitasking bar (recent apps); I think it would be very useful instead of having to click on the central button for a second to show it...
Might be very useful when changing between apps a lot and in a faster way.
Second suggestion is that the Spanish translation is very very bad... I guess I could find some free time to translate it for you.
Enviado desde mi SM-N9005 usando Tapatalk 2
Yeah, the Spanish translation is.. ehh.. lacking .. it was Google Translate and then reviewed by a non-technical friend that offered to do it.
If you do get some free time, please PM me and let me know!
I had to implement my own version of Recent Apps since I didn't find a way to launch the standard android one from within the app. It's the third from last command in the drop down menu. Hopefully it's better than nothing.

I am loving this feature and I did not realize it was a part of the latest update. I got my S8 yesterday so I didn't have much time to play around before an update showed up which I installed straight away. It's great if you are playing games without the fullscreen setting on as it makes games seem bigger by itself.
I have the same build. ATT carrier US device. No hide navbar feature for me...
it's good but what would be better is if it remembered your choice for different apps. There are some apps like instagram which I'm always needing the back button. Other like BBC News which i'm reading longer stories so don't 'need it
And they shouldn't have killed the colour picker option for the nav bar. That's horrible

Was there anything else on this update?
I had gotten the feature, then I tried to use Custom Navigation Bar app, and even after uninstalling the app the feature doesn't come back. I wanna cry =(
After update to latest update Bixby vision can only see text , no image or webpage .
I am on 950FD stock
Please any help
In some apps it works buggy, for example in snapchat when you take a picture the bottom part of the screen shows cam recording. But it is a cool feature
Hello, I just got the Pixel 2 and wanted to try the picture in picture feature but it will not work. I checked to see if it was enabled in apps and notifications/advanced/special app access/picture in picture... And there is a few apps enabled. I'm running Android v8.1.0
Thanks,

That's split screen, I'm talking about picture and picture where you can watch a YouTube video hold down your home button and it would be a floating window you could move around.

At the moment YouTube doesn't work in PIP mode. It only works in YouTube Red. There are very few apps that can do this. GMaps being one of them

You can try YouTube in Chrome and pip should work
I tried Google Maps as well it didn't work either.. to be honest the pixel 2 phone is horrible I had a Nexus 6 with the pixel 2 launcher and it was exactly the same even the speed.

Thanks for being honest.
Google maps works fine in PIP.

Ok I retried Google maps and it worked, Here's why it didn't before. You have to have the destination and be in driving mode before it will do picture-n-picture.
Pip is a lame feature anyway. The image is too small to add any real value. Split screen is king!
I agree, phone is way smaller than my last and with the screen being so small because of the top and bottom bezels.
If I underestanded well on some reviews, pip woarks only on pixel2 xl (for yt and all other supported apps),and not on smaller device. Google maps woarks on any phone which I had with Oreo, don't look at it

Please post a screenshot of this option in launcher setting. Thanks
I also have Google feed enabled and didn't found any option in launcher settings to change or disable it.
I would like to know how to turn this on as I also just have some smart assistant thing when I swipe across.
I've changed to Action Pixel launcher to get the Google feed enabled but I feel that none of the launchers i've tried so far are as smooth or responsive as the stock ColorOS launcher.

Yes, i'm sure. But I think it may depend on the operator's branding. My phone is branded for Vodafone, perhaps Oppo does some things on their request.

This is an animated gif, not a picture. If you can't see animation, try to change your browser.
Very curious to find out if installing the launcher version from devices with Google Feed will enable it on devices without Google Feed. Can someone with one of these regional/branded devices check the version number of their launcher?
On certain Huawei phones it was possible to enable the feed by ADB disabling HiBoard. Unfortunately disabling Oppo's feed with ADB does not enable the Google Feed.
The version number is visible in the screenshot in the attachment.
..i have color os version 7.2 (11_A.30) and google feed is only available as a choice (option) in smart assistant settings, simply swiping from left to right opens assistant and you have to choose ( predefined ) from settings ( icon on the top right hand side )
Having the same trouble. Clueless here. Anyone had the same issue and fixed it? Oppo A72 here on Android 10 coloros 7.1
Switched off the Google news feed but when I swipe from left to right, I still have Google but its blank.. anyway.of changing it to another app or switching it off completely?
Hi,
I found a way to "disable" the Google feed without installing another launcher.
If you hide the Google App in the Privacy Settings, when you swipe left, nothing happens. The icon at the bottom which indicates how many pages there are is still visible but honestly it doesn't bother me much.
Hopefully, Oppo will add the option to hide the Google Feed page.
Cheers
