Hi guys
We are looking to capture screen recording of Facetime or other audio/visual call services (Skype, whatsapp, etc.). We're creating a video that uses footage from an iPhone screen of people having a video call.
Unfortunately the new screen record feature on iOS 11 doesn't allow for audio capture. Once you open Facetime or other apps (the Facetime mic overrides the mic used to capture audio in screen record).
As it stands we've used Quicktime, Apowersoft and the new screen record feature to variously capture recordings of facetime. However almost every time there is an issue with audio.
Wondering if anyone has any experience of this and might know how to capture the video and audio directly onto the iPhone without having to use a Mac or external mic?
You are on the wrong site for that. We don't do anything with Apple here. Only android and windows based stuff.

I am a musician and I came from an EVO. As part of my practice regimen I have used certain programs to record myself to help refine my performances. For some reason many or all of the recording apps that are available on the market place don't work. I am not sure if it is has something to do with the samsung audio drivers; but frequently, audio is distorted or drops out in the middle, levels can't be set or apps record nothing at all. My EVO didn't have this problem...what gives?
Does anyone have any insight into this problem?
I have Used
Hertz
BMS recorder Lite
Rehearsal Assistant
Droid Recorder
Pocket DJ lite
Make a video instead. Do the apps that you are trying to use have specific features you're looking for?
Ok dudes ... here is the thing ...I have a Nexus S wich is an old phone and cant handle video capturing apps quite well (captures video in extremly low fps)
So here is my question... Could you please inform me to some software (pc) which i can use to record my devices screen(and or any alternate way of recording my phones screen from my pc)?
Hello,
I'm using Background Video Recorder regularly as a secret recording tool and I'm in dilemma for buying the Google Pixel phone as a new smartphone.
I want to know if the Electronic Image Stabilization will work. The question is valid for other camera apps which can record video.
Thanks!
No one knows or willing to try?:crying:
Personally, I'm hesitant to contribute to spying apps. I realize that there are probably legitimate uses but I know of more than a few less savory needs for a camera that records without looking like it is recording. I only hope you represent the former and not the latter. I bring this up only to potentially explain why other folks may have remained silent like I did.
EIS only works in stock camera app. Annoying for me because stock camera app doesnt seem to support external microphones via aux or usb, so I can't use EIS in Cinema FV5 when using a mic.
I have a Google Pixel 4a
Android 13
Build TQ2A.230405.003
I want to be able to record video calls I have with my kids when they call from Google Meet while they're with their mom. (divorced)
I tried the built in Screen Recorder, but it doesn't capture any audio. For context, the screen recorder does capture audio, but it mutes as soon as I use Google Meet. It also muted when using Facebook Messenger for video chats. My understanding is that this is be design, thanks to Google.
I'm able to capture clear audio from a Google Meet call separately from Screen Recorder using CubeACR, but I'm left having to pull the audio from CubeACR and sync it with the video in a video editor, and I sometimes have 2-3 calls per day, so it's a lot of extra work to compile the audio and video together each time.
Willing to buy an app. There's a bunch of sketchy video recording apps on Google Play so I'm hoping I can get a more direct referral.
I'm also willing to buy a cheap, older 2nd phone if I have to, if there's another brand that isn't blocking voice recording like Google is. If anybody knows of a cheap phone I could buy, that would also be helpful.
Thanks!
