hi guys!!
I rooted my 2 months old Samsung galaxy ace plus.
After that i installed Titanium backup and started uninstalling after keeping the backup of many google apps from the systemapp list that was useless for me.but after that My google play stopped working.
I tried to restore those apps but titanium backup hangs up everytime.
I tried many stupid things of which i wasn't aware and bricked my phone but somehow managed to get it back by flashing the corrupted rom by googling.
But now I want my phone to be new as . most importantly the google apps and google play.

I had this issue with my SGS+ and solution for me was to flash another ROM. I searched the app in the Play Store and seems that app was "incompatible" with my device. This has someting to do with the rom itself.
I would try wiping play store data and cache and see if this works.
If not, wipe cache and dalvik-cache could help.
But if you really want your phone as new, I think you should flash stock rom for it.
Anyway, good luck!

Well I foolishly uninstalled the google download manager 2.3.6, downloads and google plus and now tit backup is hanging up during restoring.
and after that my google play, gmaill and other google apps stopped working.
If i install cynogenmod, ics or any other ROM.
could this problem be solved?
:silly:
You can search for 2.3.6 google apps and install them from recovery or even geting the .apk files.
Sorry I cant help you here because I have ICS custom rom.

Hi All,
Since few days ago I keep getting this message for a split second before it disappears. It usually happens right after I install a new app.
I'm running stock ROM & Kernel with Xposed framework and Dalvik+bionic library optimization - But all of these are running for over a month on my phone with no issues.
I think that it messed it up by using Titanium backup to integrate Google Play Services update into ROM and since then I might have these issues.
Anyway, can someone help me to troubleshoot this thing?
Thanks!
have you tried uninstalling the update from settings/apps/downloaded.. or clear the data on it?

Hi!
I have a little problem, every time I try to purchase an app in the Play Store on my OnePlus One the store forcecloses like this: (see attachment)
Does anyone have this same problem?
How can I fix it?
I can download any app but I can't purchase anything.
My Google Wallet is correctly set up.
First what Rom are you on ? CM11s or CM12
Have you modified your phone in any way ?
Does it do that only in the Google Store ?
It's the stock rom CM11, I haven't tweaked it yet. And it only happens on the playstore, not when I download any app, just when I try to purchase it.

Have you tried a factory reset?
I would try a clean install of the factory cm11s image, but before that clear the data and cache of all Google related things and see if that helps?
Settings, apps, go through the list there and tap on play store for example, clear cache/data there for Google stuff.
If you have unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp or another custom recovery, try clearing dalvik and cache also

Hey guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-19300 8GB running on Anroid 4.3, rooted and custom ROM Manager installed. Recently all Google Play services have stopped working. I literally can't do anything. I can' t log in, can't use Youtube, can't open the Play store because it gives me the No connection- retry error, of course. I heard it was because of Freedom. I deleted the app and tried to re-install it... but I cannot even install apk files; not any kind of apk file. I tried to force-install it with an android terminal, but that doesn't work either. Aptoide also does not want to install anything. I basically deleted the cache for every google app & I uninstalled all updates; but all in vain. Nothing seems to work except for Whatsapp and the actual internet browser. Please help me, I really need my phone to work properly.
Thanks in advance, any kind of help is appreciated

Do you have a custom recovery?

Reflash Stock ROM via Odin (you wont lost anything on internal storage) or try flash any gapps for 4.x.x via custom recovery.

Download your stock ROM. Put it in your pc and then flash it using Odin.
U may also need to flash gapps using your custom recovery.

Ok. You have got the answer in this thread
But before that just try to do a factory data reset
If you have some important data, take a nandroid backup
And then do a factory data reset
And I may be a foolish in this but I am considering it because everything may be possible here, enable the background data if it is disable

Well, okay, I guess that's my only option, I have reflashed the Stock ROM and that hasn't fixed my problem either. Factory data reset it will be. I'll come back to you whenever I have done the data reset. I really hope this'll fix the problem, because I don't want to do a factory data reset at all. :/
Hello, I have used this rooting tutorial to root my Moto G 1st Edition 1033 phone (5.1 Lollipop OS):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-root-xt1032-xt1033-moto-g-running-t2965507/
The rooting worked fine without problems, though the Google Play App (Market) is now crashing. Sometimes, even when I start it. I have tried clearing cache on the app and services then rebooting. Then I tried using Lucky Patcher to move the market app into System folder. It moved it but that did not help either. Then, I tried factory reset. That did not help either. Any chance you got a fix for this?
Regards and thanks.
P.S. I do not have any custom firmware installed I just rooted my phone that is all. I do not want to install any custom firmware.

Try reinstalling stock rom.
Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. I tried replying to the topic earlier but since I had low post count I had to wait and then I forgot all about the topic. Anyway, I am looking for a more simple solution to the problem. I do not want to flash since I am new to this. Thanks again.
@samandroidh - That rooting method is unnecessarily complicated and obviously has created this situation. The easiest way to root is to simply flash SuperSU.zip via custom Recovery.
Perhaps try this zip I have created before anything else. The zip will remove the pre-installed Play Store and install the latest version. Prior to flashing in custom Recovery, Un-install any Play Store updates - Settings > apps > (ALL) > Google Play Store:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24352994023707407
Latest TWRP custom Recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2980621
Latest SuperSU: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
If my zip makes no difference, then maybe try rooting again with the above SuperSU.zip - no preparation needed - simply flash in TWRP.
