Hi ! I am hoping someone can offer some help and advice please.
I am currently looking for a 2nd smartphone , my main phone is a Samsung s8+ it is not dual sim , my last phone the One plus 2 was a dual sim .
I am looking for a 2nd smartphone , I am not a brand snob , but I am looking ideally for a 4 inch device or smaller , with great battery life that is pocket sized friendly.
I am happy to import from china etc , but ideally something with a proven track record as opposed to a shot in the dark purchase.
I kind of wanted to go with a dual sim samsung s8+ but they all tended to be import only with no warranty or the UK version was just to expensive , some people might suggest selling the S8+ and going with a Oneplus 5T , but I kinda like my current phone enough to not really want to do that.
TYI

Hey there, searched for hours and could not find an answer yet, any help is greatly appreciated.
I'm in China for 5 months and need wifi calling enabled on my samsung s8+ g9550 dual sim, 128gb
Sim #1 is the china sim, no problem
Sim #2 is the tmobile usa sim, but can not enable wifi calling, it does not have that feature, told it needs the tmobile firmware. Already tried tmobile's new digits app but connection is poor and drops call every 5 - 10 minutes.
I'm not too experienced with modding but could figure it out if pointed in the right direction. So a few questions are:
1) Is it correct that if I flash with tmobiles firmware I can enable wifi calling? If so anyone have a link?
2) If I do flash, will the phone see both sim cards? Will the phone see the extra ram and memory?
3) Will there be a problem with the different processor?
4) Lastly (I hope) If you think it will work can you point me to a step by step
Ok, well, thanks in advance, just got a one time credit for international calls made so far after being mislead by three tmobile reps. Last guy was real helpful, even called samsung but they would not send him the firmware.

Looking for a new phone, preferably one that is on XDA with custom ROMS. Does anyone use WiFi calling enabled phone through tracfone(at&t sim) right now that can make a recommendation?

Currently on the att S7 edge and this locked bootloader is pissing me off. So thinking about a new phone:
I'm looking for one that:
- Has a "bezel-less" display
- Sd card slot
- GSM (att) compatible
- EASILY UNLOCKABLE BOOTLOADER!!!
- Decent community of development
- TWRP builds
- Fastboot is a plus; Missing my m8 haha
- A relatively new phone because I like having the newester haha
I'm rlly looking to get off of Samsung.
I'm not rlly looking for the best camera, not huge on pictures.

Hey there,
I hope this is the right place for my question. I want to buy a new phone (moto g5 oder Nokia 3 ... maybe). I would like to know what's in these phones before buying one of them. I don't mean specifications like: it has the following senors, but the manufacturer of these sensors. I really have no idea where to find these infos or if they even exist somewhere.
Thanks alot
