CM 11
I installed CM 11 on my D838 and he booted. Rom is crazy fast. Installed with Philz recovery.
bugs:
Camera
Bluetooth
Brightness control
SD card

Make sure you link the Gapps, some people will wlash without it if the dont know

Now i think you are ready to buil cm12.1 rom for g pro 2. I'll wait for it

Yes I will build cm12.1 on today night.

I installed rom with "gapps-kk-20140606-signed" google apps.

F350L
So awesome to see vanilla android on g pro 2. I was about to order a nexus 6 but I'll wait to cm12 on this phone
Can i install it on F350L model .... ??

It's cool, i have downloaded your rom and will test it at night

I keep getting error 7 in CWM recovery on my d838, error 7 indicates an incompatibility in devices. The version of CWM I have is based on the F350 G Pro 2 so it won't let me install this rom, could anyone tell me how they installed it on their D838?

I've tried Philz and CWM and I can't find any TWRP images for my D838, so how would I get twrp on my phone?

I tested your rom on my f350l and there are some bugs:
Bluetooth
Sdcard

Great Work! i was wishing that someone can build CM roms for G Pro 2, and now it's true. thanks you

Installed on d838 but stuck at LG logo.

So the second build (20150515) installed without a problem but it doesn't boot, it just stays at the LG logo. I'm aware that the first boot of new software can usually take a long time but I left it for half an hour but nothing happened. I'm very grateful of your efforts on this project and I'm looking forward to the next build. I hope it boots next time.

I will reupload rom file to 20140513 and rebuild

Fix for installation on f350 recovery
To fix installation with philz (F350 recovery) we need to edit "update-scrip" file thats located in
CM installation zip > META-INF > com > google > android > update script
I suggest to edit with notepad++
Need to edit 2 lines to look like this :
getprop("ro.product.device") == "f350" || (edit "d838 to f350")
getprop("ro.build.product") == "f350" || (edit "d838 to f350")

I installed latest build for d838.
Now works:
Camera
Notification led
Brightness control
Not working:
Sdcard (I have kingston 32gb sdcard)

search for flash stock roms at yuplaygod site you will definitely find mine post

While i have inserted both the sim, is it possible to turn off any of the sim from settings sim cards option ? i frequently require this and in my android one it is not possible due to hardware limitations. Guys please check once and reply so that i can decide to purchase or not.

I cant remember about the stock rom, but the feature exists in cm12 rom.

Getting error while flashing
Hi Rohit,
First of all great work and thank you for the MIUI 7 rom. I am trying to install this rom and have also tried installing 5.8.6 rom previously posted by Sachin with the help of Philz Recovery as well as TWRP 2.8.5.0 recovery but every time getting an error as "Unable to extract dir from "system" to "/system"". Can you please advise on how to overcome with this problem.

Repartition your Xolo...with Mod with 1gb /system, 200mb /cache & 4gb data partition:

Then flash new MiUi rom with TWRP 2.8.4 rev.2 recovery...

Thanks..I'm using the rom...working great no major issues faced till now..

Audio patch working..but not much sound boost, using dolby atmos as usual for further sound boost...problem is with native vdo player...may be a codec issue
, only lines are appearing with sound

Audio patch is for headphones...use the headphones see the sound boost difference... The sound of speakers is already load aud clear
The video can't work from gallery...result u know.. Plz use mx player for playing videos

Thank you very much. I partitioned the phone with 1.5GB and now the rom has been installed perfectly. Everything is working buttery smooth. Audio is very crisp and clear. Rom is very fast. I can give 9 out of 10 for this beautiful rom.
One request, can you please provide update patch for MIUI 7_5.8.20 instead of installing full rom MIUI 7_5.8.20 ?

dude check out post no. 4 on this thread. there is a twrp recovery that i ve ported for this device. just flash if via spflashtools and install any SuperSU zip file. bam. u have rooted ur q11. ?✌

hi bro. i have a phone similar to yours. so, try our custom ROMs to your phone at least. we started developing the device since december(starting with S7 ROM and CM13, more are coming to the device). if do you have kernel source, maybe we can port a android 7.0 system image at least.

i tried your recovery. you dont have mtp included in this build. also, adb secure is enabled.

try to port FiraOS. i've got problems in rear camera. but the cam is stable.
and, can we combined our ported ROM's here, since we have similarities in the features and the project name.

Best method for installation of TWP on mediatek ?

Hello,
What is the best method to install twrp on mediatek devices ?
Is it by using the magic twrp installer ?
Or by manually porting twrp to our specific device ?
I try to install twrp on kingwear98,
I tried to use AllCall-W1_recovery recovery.img because it use the same chipset.
Surprisingly it worked . Yet, last week it became dead.
So, I don't understand how it worked in the first place, and if it became dead because something is not totally correct using other device (not even watch!) even if it has the same chipset .
So, should I flash it again (allcall W1 into kingwear98), or use one of the above methods (port twrp manually into my stock, or install magic twrp for mediatek).
