In press reviews for this phone there's a picture that looks like a mountain range or volcano with infrared color effects. It seems like it's a stock wallpaper, but it isn't included with the others that have been posted. Anyone know where to find that?

I have seen some really bad ass wallpapers, but everything i put on my phone makes it hard to see the icons and widgets. so i have just gone with the stock HTC dark wallpaper. Anybody else feel the same way?

sort of, I cant get away from this wall/setup...doesn't block anything out and i never get tired of looking at it. (looks better on phone than in screenshot)

You might want to try Socwall.com A lot of dark ones under abstract. That's where I got my current one. There are also plenty that are simpler than mine of course.
Hi, everyone! I have created a concept based on a joke with Apple copying some android features for the ios5 (wich i think was a step in the right direction). So, the "next google phone" looks a little like the iphone and the fiction-ad plays with the taskbar matter. By the way, the new taskbar i introduced is a concept too. It would replace the hardware buttons with a second monochrome display, adding more functionality and saving more battery power.
Well, enough talking.
Let me know what you think about it.

Maybe the pictures did not shows enough.
Well, it actually would act like the current normal hardware touch sensitive controls, displaying the same signals: back, search, options and home, just like the current ones.
But...
Once the screen is off and you are listening to music, it can act as the player controls, or even the unlock slider without need to power on the screen all time. It would notify you about new email, sms, missed calls when screen is off. But once the screen is unlocked, it get back to it's normal four button functions. Touching the notification unlocks the screen and takes you directly to the related app. Touching the back symbol on the right, marks the notification as "seen". Its more or less how it should works.

Hi... first of all I'd like to mention that I tried a couple of searches to check if there is a thread specific for LWP requests but haven't found any yet... if there is one and I missed, I'm sorry and please redirect me to the correct place. :good:
Moving on... I've searched all over for The Walking Dead live wallpapers and can't seem to find any. I also tried to see if there was a way to make them myself but honestly I'm not that tech-pro, so no go on that plan either. What I've done is cut the two clips that I was thinking on using for my wallpapers and place them a zip file in the hopes that someone out there might want to help me. I'm not sure if I should've done it like I did (quicktime video) of by doing a PNG sequence... if that would be better please let me know. I'm using a Walking Dead lockscreen image (I'll post the image here as well), so my idea was to have that lockscreen and when I unlock, the live wallpaper comes in with the zombie moving there. Anyways... I'd appreciate any help on this.
Ohhh I so want that too great idea. I'd there a way we can have one wallpaper set up for the lock screen, and a different one for the home screen? I mean you could probably use a lock screen replacement.

Yeah... sorry I think I might've not explained myself very well on that part. I actually AM using the app widgetlocker and at this present time do have a lockscreen wallpaper and a completely different homescreen wallpaper set up. My insterest is mostly in being able to get that The Walking Dead Live Wallpaper done. I think i'd look cool with the "Do not open, dead inside" lockscreen and then when I unlock the phone there's the zombie moving in the Live Wallpaper.

Not a true LWP, but you could get an equivalent look with Video Live Wallpaper
I can't make a live wallpaper or I'd help you out but could you post the pic you're using as your background? That's awesome I'd love to change my lock screen image and that would be great.

Thanks... looks like that did the trick.. It'd be nice to have an actual apk for the wallpaper, but until then I think Video Live Wallpaper should work, I'll just have to monitor how it affects my battery...

I'm more annoyed at samsung because this and the other pre order wallpapers aren't stock, they all look so good compared to the ones we got.

As I said on the first page, I did it with photoshop using different images of the wallpaper that everyone can find in Internet. I can do nothing for a better resolution because there are not good images for that.
But I think for a phone wallpaper is good enough.

It looks amazing as is on this screen as is!! Rocking it on my home and lockscreen! I hate how default wallpaper crops it tho. I'll download a wallpaper app to fix it easy peazy. Thanks again! This wallpaper makes my phone feel "alive"

Lockscreen. Home, left and right.
Redid my home and lock. Same ****.
Just new icons, and background mountain, lock wall is still likewise above, just with a background mountain so still fits.
I'll later today, remove the navigation bar all together. And going all gestures. For more seamless setup and controll. Just don't have any adb on my Macs and don't get it, as on Windows. Lol.
Edit** Added lockscreen and homewall.

I disabled Ambient display on the Xperia 5. Seems to work much better. @ Android v9. I wonder once Android 10 is stable and fixes bugs in 10 will the new home button make things easier?

What is that clock/weather widget, that's sharp
A new cell phone is just a bunch of radiation.
the Xperia 5 has an advantage over wider phones, but the top of the phone is too heavy and will tip over. Also, the bezel material is unlike the Xperia Z3, which was metallic and unique among Xperia flagships.
