Yes, I know you are risking the IP68 rating, but a qualified repair shop should be able to restore that -- especially if they've watched the excellent JerryRig LG V30 video on how to do that. They just need the proper adhesive when putting the new cover on.

But what about the sides that have this chrome all over it, sadly my TMobile store only had the silver in stock when I picked mine up.

Where did you get the original adhesive?

What glass is this?
Is this back cover made from gorilla glass 5 as the original or is some cheap easy to scratch and shutter glass? Also from where I can buy the proper adhesive in order to maintain the ip68 rating? Also if i dropped my marocan blue v30 and i scratched my frame can I polish it with metal polish or I'l destroy the blue painting?

If you buy the OEM parts, it's the genuine LG spare parts, with the same Gorilla Glass. You can also buy the original glue. LG has that available for authorized repair centers and stuff and when repaired can maintain the IP68 rating. There's a YouTube video that shows how to do it all.
I made the post to show it's possible to buy different back colors if that's what you want.

Anyone purchased one of these? I am thinking of canceling my Skinomi one as it will take a month to arrive and it's only £6.99 + Delivery.

I am reluctant to buy it, due to poor reviews stating the poor durability, I have placed an order for the 'Skinomi; nonetheless.
i purchased one of these and boy was it horrible. i removed the backing and attempted a wet apply, the feel and overall thickness was disgusting; it felt like a thick layer of plastic stretched around the device. i am returning the one i brought today
When the sticker wet film may suffer if the phone? What to do to avoid this?
I got the ZAGG max protect for 2 Nexus 4 and both are amazing!

Is my bumper fake??

When I bought my N4 in February I also ordered a black bumper. The original bumper recently broke at the usb port. I tried to glue it back together, but it just never fit right again. I was recently gifted a white bumper by a friend who bought it on ebay, but I've noticed some differences in the packaging....enough differences that it's made me wonder if this is a legitimate official bumper made by LG. Take a look and judge for yourselves.
1. No LG logo on the front
2. No hologram "Official LG Accessory" sticker on the back
3. No Google logo on the back
4. Both bumpers are the same model number, although they are clearly different
5. The font on the back of the white bumper's packaging appears to be slightly larger than on the other package (or maybe it's bold)
6. The grey colored paper insert is a shade or two lighter in the white bumper's packaging.

Yeah, that packaging of the white one looks similar to my replica red bumpers. You can also tell my the material that's used, my real bumper feels more premium than my fake red one.
So chances are, your white one is fake.

it's a replica. and it's gonna get dirty fast.
Well, at the price I paid (free) I can't complain. And I've got to hand it to whoever made this...If I hadn't noticed there was no LG logo on the front of the insert, I probably would have never known it wasn't real. They really went all out trying to make the package (and bumper) as close as possible, and the packaging is so close that if I didn't have one I knew for a fact is official I definitely wouldn't have known either. The TPU material does feel slightly more plasticky on the white one, and I noticed a few spots that weren't glued so I took the liberty of fixing that before it ever went on my phone. I should mention, though, my black bumper was missing glue in the EXACT same spots.
Whatever...like I said, I can't complain. And it still looks just as sick as if the bumper were real I love the color contrast!!!

Great deal on good tempered glass, USD 8.99 for 3, 6.99 for 2

If you are in the US and especially if you have Amazon Prime (or get $25 order for free shipping):
XOXO Mobile® Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S4, $8.99 for 3 pack on Amazon
XOXO Mobile® Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S4, $6.99 for 2 pack on Amazon
I just installed one. It's 0.3mm, and comes with 3 complete installation sets which I think is a great icing on top! I only used 2 of the provided guide stickers. The tear-drop dust-grabber is a nice touch. I usually do this with painter's/masking tape, but it's great that Xoxo includes everything for the installation. It doesn't come with any button sticker but, really, it's not needed.
Compared to the one on my other S4, the 0.18mm HERO Glass ($16.99 for only 1, or 5.4x the price of Xoxo), I can't tell any difference, except the Xoxo is a bit more open on top next to the camera and sensors, where as the HERO has a tad more coverage on the top left and right corners (without covering the camera and sensors). I don't think HERO's extra coverage makes that much of a difference.
Here it is after the 5-minute installation, with perfect result:

Here's a 2 pack for $2 less, if you don't need 3.
http://www.amazon.com/LIFETIME-WARRANTY-XOXO-Tempered-Protector/dp/B00ONCWVEE
I ordered the 2 pack on Friday and got it the next day with my prime account.
I've always wanted to try a glass screen protector and this was such a great price I couldn't pass.
Installation was beyond easy! If you've ever put on a soft screen protector you will be amazed and tell everyone how easy it was to install. After cleaning I dropped it on and tapped the middle of the screen and you watched it push all the air out on it's own.
The glass feels as smooth as the actual screen, edges are smooth and rounded, and now that the center button is recessed a little I don't accidentally press it when handling the phone.
Just bought a Tech Armor glass screen protector. Thing is amazing. I'll never go back to the plastic crap again. Such a breeze to install.

Do not buy this case

Just bought this ebay case from ebay seller yellowknife_cable. Not a very friendly seller BTW and I think they are doing a switch and bait. They are using another product's images but the item they actually sell are just bad, if not one of the worse copies I've seen.
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271692429375&alt=web
If you look at the camera cut out, it is way off centered and is touching the top lens of the camera. This prevents that portion of the case to touch the back of the phone and is slight lifted off. I'm not sure who designed this but it's clear it was not test fitted and probably was based off some incorrect schematic of the note 4. The other issue is the bottom part of the phone doesn't fit well and exposes part of the phone's bezel. I've tried putting it on from the bottom first but this doesn't help. Also this case is not ultra thin as they advertise. This case is not expensive but you can find a lot more better fitting case than this so don't waste your time. And don't waste time with this seller. They want you to drive to USPS, pay for your own shipping first, then they refund and reimburse you for return shipping after they determine it's defective. For $6 dollars, who would want to go to the trouble. It's just a waste of time overall.
I sent them this image and they still think it's not defective. Really? Again, dont waste your time with this seller.

Sorry to say but even in the pictures from the "ad" the case looks like crap. When it comes to my phone I'd prefer to just buy some quality case instead of some random crap. Can find quality Spigen cases for 20 bucks.
I wouldn't use a £4 case on a £500 phone. I suppose with cases you really get what you pay for.
Right! For 15€ you could buy the original Samsung protective case. Looks great fits perfect and the protection is good i think. I've the blue and the silver one
you can get the OEM samsung one for 10 bucks on amazon i dont understand why people buy garbage off ebay from asia .. the OEM is made specifically for the phone all the holes line up and the buttons are perfect

[suggestions] Best Case For A2

Hi guys, after some experience with different A2 cases, I want to recommend this one:
- Built-in attachment to the car magnetic phone holder.
- A ring to stabilize the phone on a table.
- covers the back cameras completely.

Beware that the part with the stand and the magnetic area protrudes alot, too much for me at least, really afraid to bend the phone at the first occasion.
I bought it in red, they called it iron man case.. At first I thought it was metal back but it's all plastic.. Overall it's good and covers camera bump nicely
One thing I noticed is that my case is not magnetic at all.. Black square at back doesn't stick to any type of steel or metal.. I try to peel it off, to see if any glue under but nope it just plastic

The metal part is supposed to be attached to a magnetic stand like car holders which have strong magnets. The case doesn't have any type of magnets. It's just metal.

Damn, I should've gotten this one then. I got a different one cause I thought that metal part was a magnet and was afraid of GPS issues.
