Can anyone of you share me a link to download the latest stock firmware from the canadian variant of the samsung s7? I need the one ended with D3 (bootloader). Thank you alot.

How to Check for Samsung S7 2016 Version?

How can I check if I own the Samsung J7 2016 version? I recently bought it from tmobile 4 days ago. Could this be the 2016 version?

Why cant the phone tell me that info?

Bro most phones won't tell you the info unless you know how to use terminal and all that jazz I just gave a easy option. Your welcome.

I suppose j7 2016 device model is J710*
whereas the older is J700*

Ok I already installed it. Now what? What info should I check now?

There are 2 j7 phones that came out in 2016. There is the T-Mobile version with the 2gb ram and exynos 7580 processor which is a upgrade from the 615 snapdragon. The other phone is the J7 6. This is the metal body, bigger battery, and newer exynos 7890 processor. That's the info you will find in the app. Search on google which is the newest Phone you'll figure it out.

Hey thanks man. Looks like I got the 2016 tmobile version with the exynos chip.

Need MIUI

Please someone help to get MIUI for my galaxy j7.
I am big fan of MIUI . But can't offord to buy a new phone for this neither do MIUI express launcher run on GALAXY J7 (As it is lolipop) ..
So please... Help me out getting MIUI
P.S - Die hard fan of MIUI...

i like miui too , current miui patch rom version is 4.4 kitkat , our j7 is runing on 5.1 lp and now it's getting mm 6.0 so there is no compatibality to port it for j7 , when miui patchrom support lp i will try to bring it for j7

Cause there is no available miui rom for a phone which use exynos7580

I am building this patch rom of MIUI for j7

N920PVPS3BQA1 update

If you have package disabler pro installed (version 6.3 or below), do not update. Back up your current disabler settings, uninstall the disabler, install N920PVPS3BQA1, then reinstall disabler version 6.3. do not update it from the play store as it will prevent you from disabling certain packages. The newest version is 7.1.
if you currently have version 6.3 installed and update to N920PVPS3BQA1, the disabler will not be allowed to activate until updated from the play store to version 7.1, which doesnt allow disabling sytsem updates and a few other items.

What android version is the update 7.0 ?maybe

Is that legit the Note is getting Nougat? is there an official announcement or pure speculation on this?

I'm trying to find the article that was on Yahoo! news the other day; it said that it was confirmed that the S6, S6 plus and Note-5 would get the update by end of this month.

I don't know if this is true, but few days ago I read about an update in android 6.0.1 with grace update for note 5, and yesterday I receive poll from samsung asking me about note 5 and the possibility to sell this device.

I'm running this with twisted note kernel. Is there a Hotspot fix someone could point me towards?

So there's a version upgrade in the Camera Firmware version. Any improvements noticeable?
How about the stock camera app? On 8.1 Beta it's 8.0100.11. That's the stock Nokia Camera App version.

8.1 is also live in Germany. I signed up for beta labs but didn't get the beta. So it's a direct update from 8.0 to 8.1.
I had quite some performance issues with 8 earlier today but after the update to 8.1 almost everything seems much snappier than before. So far I'm impressed.

I'm on beta in Poland and haven't got it so far (TA-1004).

Installed earlier today coming from 8.1 beta.
Camera app version is 8.0110.21

So is the camera sorted or are we still fiddling around with modded APKs?

Yes, TA1012 on 8.0

1012 just received 8.1 in The Netherlands on T Mobile network

TA-1052 updating a lot of Google apps.
Probably soon it'll be updated too.
