Hi,
i also have an s90-a and bought it in a plugin-shop.
So there will be no possibility to root the phone in the near future?
Root
I think root has been made possible with this device. As per checking, another community has managed to install CWM, just use google translate when visiting this link

[Completed] Root Lenovo A7020a40 after Marshmallow update.

Hello,
I would like to root my Lenovo A7020a40 after the Marshmallow update safely, without breaking anything in it. Is there any way for doing it? I have tried one click root, kingo root and king root and none of them worked.
Is there any one click root or an easy to use, but 100% safe and working bat file what I can use for it?

Looking to root My J7

Hello everyone
I've been having some issues that I need root to address and besides that I would like my phone to act the way I want it to.
I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro (SM-S727VL) and I wouldn't be closed minded to making a donation.
Can anyone help me accomplish my goal ?
Thanks,
A.G.

Im thinking about buying this phone and i want to know if you have made any progress in gaining root access. Iv been searching for a root method for the past 2 days and the only thing iv found was that srsroot was now compatable with s727vl. but i havent been able to find any confirmation of srsroot working on this device. also is there a oem lock option in your developer option.
I dont know if it will help but there is a root method for s320vl on the xda form.

I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like this phone The only problem is so far it can't be rooted. Yes there is an OEM Unlock option in my DO and also thanks for the suggestion about the s320vl however it won't work for this model I guess ill just keep an eye out for any news and if I find something I'll let you know and if you find out anything please let me know !
Thanks,

Thanks for the feed back, I have seen tutorial on rooting any j7 and it's variants. My problem with trying the root method is that I can't seem to find my stock firmware to reflask my phone if the root method fails and leave me with $150 paperweight
I found stock firmware for the galaxy j7 sky pro(SM-S727VL) since cant post links message me for link
Thanks for the feed back on the stock rom. I found it the other day. Just so you don't waste any time I have already tried srsroot and dr. Phone with no luck. Srsroot did return a successful root but after running root checker it returned no root access on this device. There is a standard adb root method that I want to try but it may be a few weeks b4 I have time to try it. I'm sure this phone will get rooted. It's very nice low budget phone that's gaining a lot of popularity. I also checked out twrp website and the did give a guid to build or code twrp for your particular device but that may be out of my league. I forgot to mention that also was desperate enough to try king root and it also failed to root my phone.
I also tried Kingroot and it also failed... hehe well it was worth a shot. I wish I had something new to report but unfortunately i do not...

Help, Asus Zenfone won't work after rooting

Hello,
Trying to solve problem with rooted Asus Zenfone 4 pro X00ID, sorry if this topic already exists, anyhow couldn't find info and I am at the dead end at the moment.
Managed to root Zenfone with magisk, though didn't do any backup with twrp, my bad.., Then accidentally launched system update which lead to phone won't turning on.
Tried to upload stock firmware with fastboot, gives missini android txt. something
Twrp can't install firmware because it recognizes device as x00I, though it states on device that it is x00ID, and I really can't find any info on x00i.
Any ideas?
