Google Pixel 2 "Calendar Widget" for Nexus 6P or Other Google Android Device
Hi,
Is there any ported version released for Google Pixel 2 "Calendar Widget" app for Nexus 6P or other Google devices? I know about "Another Widget" app in Play Store, but except this one.

There's an app/widget called "Another Widget" that aims to mimic it. There are also ported launchers, forget where I found it but they're around.
As I didn't want to start a new thread for a simple question, figure I'd post I here...
Anyone with a pixel 2 know how the actual widget works when you click on an event on your home screen? Does it bring you to the event in your calendar or to the base calendar app? This makes a huge difference as if you go to an event, you cannot just hit the back arrow and see the calendar as a whole. Essentially, that would make this widget only for ONE event... Not a launcher for the calendar too.

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm coming from a N1 with CM7.1 and I don't know if this was a Vanilla Android thing or a CM thing, but one widget that I LOVED was the Google Calendar widget that would give me my schedule up to a week in advance on my home screen. After my daughter threw my lovely Nexy down 12 flights of stairs in an obvious act of jealousy, I got the Skyrocket, and I can't find anything equivalent to the old Google Calendar Widget I used. Was that a Vanilla/CM7.1 exclusive feature or am I doing something wrong? It's not listed in my widget list, nor can I find it on the market.

Missing Google Calendar Widget
Even on my stock Galaxy sII Skyrocket I do not have access to the Google Calendar Widget.
I rooted the phone & installed Titanium Backup, Rom Manager, etc.
Haven't been able to find a stock Google Calendar widget.
I have now also removed some of the bloat-wear on the phone from AT&T and Samsung. This has resulted in the stock calendar widget that Samsung installed being unavailable as well.
Any assistance in being able to install a stock Google Calendar Widget would definitely be appreciated.

Hey guys, well after resetting my device I've notice that my calendar widget is gone. I have the Samsung Calendar lamp but not the widget. My tab is rooted. Oh and my svoice is FC. What can I do.?

Are you using another launcher? The Calendar widget tends to disappear when you do.

I don't see a calendar or music widget too on the touchwiz ui. I do see a calendar widget on the magazine ui.

If using alternative launchers other than stock the best bet is to install a calendar widget from the play store. Personally I like Event Flow Calendar Widget.

Just unboxed my Pixel.... wow it is fast...
but... my homescreen setup involves having a large Google Now widget front and centre.... but when i went to add it, the widget isn't there....
i've seen some articles about how the now widget was missing from some other phones that were trying out the Pixel launcher? Apparently the google search strip shows transparent google now style notifications - but not seen any yet...
i know all the info is on the screen to the left of the homescreen... but i want to see it all on my homescreen

can anybody help me?
I am trying to add Tapatalk as Forum Widget. You place the Widget as usually where you want it, then you select the Forum.
With the google launcher and the nova launchers before android 8 the forum icon appears then on the Home screen.
With Novalauncher (Tested on pure Android 8 on my nexus 6p and the nexus 5x of my girlfriend) simply nothing happens.
Any advice?
