Could anyone create this font Apple Mint / AppleJapan into a working FlipFont?
Been looking for it for ages and my S8 just will not accept any version I find....
The s8 / s8+

Then you just will have to accept root, because then you can just install your font as you wish.
Otherwise closest font I found to the one you want is here: called "SDgothicNEO"

Edit - try this for hundreds of fonts Apple Mint included. no root required!

Void my warranty on my new phone? No thanks.
It is possible to create it; other folks are creating and selling working flip fonts. I just don't know how they do it. That's why I ask...

I got this file from my friend's phone and it was located at system/app folder.
His phone was originally made for local Korean Market.
I really like this app because it is powerful blog writing tool like as window live writer.
But this is not installable on any android phone other than my friends phone.
Can anybody modify this and make universally usable?

Is there any way to deodex this app? I don't have the original phone from which this app came but I may ask the owner of the phone to send me more file like as blog.odex
I have been looking to make available some of my fonts (http://code.newtypography.co.uk) as flip fonts, or similar 'easy to install' package for non rooted phones.
Current threads are here http://forum.xda-developers.com/tags.php?tag=flipfonts
but doesn't seem to be a perfect solution yet. Particularly looking at succesfully signing fonts, so users can install with no hacks.
Anyone any info / help / clues on this?
cheers

no changing font should definitely not brick your phone if you follow instructions.
You have several options here:
A ) Roms like Cyanogenmod have the ability to download and apply themes which change many aspects of your phone including fonts
B ) your second option is using an app such as: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/change-your-system-font-with-fontster/
good luck and enjoy
thanks bro.
No worries
Anyone have an ideal why emoji switcher isn't working with my Samsung s7 rooted? Can't get it to work. I want to install emoji one style.
Thx an advance. I'm sorry I'm French btw.
Tried that too without success. Not sure wether it was working on my S6, I don't recall.
Probably because of touchwiz, we should hope for an update I guess.
Not of a fan of touchwiz emoji's, prefert the aosp ones.

From the information i skimmed through, it doesn't work on samsung phones, but what i did was just download the emoji font file, and replace the samsung one, there should be a lot of info on this if you just search for it.

Thank you! It working!
Just found out, when I install the emoji one style from they site, the font have a weird issue. My keyboard show the good emoji but there is a bug with words. There have no space between word in text or anything else. Any ideal?
If you want to change emojis you need to get replace 1 file.
"SamsungEmoji.ttf" I think, then reboot. Just download like AOSP emoji and rename it to SamsungEmoji and put it in to /system/fonts

Thanks.
it worked :fingers-crossed:
It was "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf" in my S7, worked great. Thanks!
Can this download and renaming in /system/fonts be done without root?

Nope, it's in the root directory, so you'd need root to access it.
Can new emojis only show up if you send them to other Galaxy S7 phones? What happens when you send them to other phones?
When I used Galaxy S7 emoji file to replace my Galaxy S5 emoji file, all the emojis previously present on Galaxy S5/S6 correctly show up but mot the new ones.
Does that mean that additional font files are needed to display them correctly, in addition to renaming the emoji file from Galaxy S7 from SamsungColorEmoji.ttf to NotoColorEmoji.ttf on Galaxy S5/S6?
I replace the font with this one, got back Google's Emojis on the S7

Thank you very much, I am going to try it since I only like the font that comes by default. Let's see if I can get it ... Greetings

Did you watch the video ? The video answers your question. It will add another new font. It will not replace it. You can add as many as you want

Thanks again, I have seen the video, but since I do not understand the language in which it is explained, I was a little doubtful about the questions. Now I think I have it clear. regards
It does not work for me, I do everything according to the tutorial but when I get to the Chinese directory I do not see the new file with the numbers, only the 4key itz that I put. I have used version 5.1.1.6 of the I Themes that I believe is the current one, not the 4.0.0.1 that comes in the video. Could that be why? Thank you
