Hi all,
I took a bit of time (and restoring nandroids) to create an AROMA installer script.
It works on 5.0 stock (based) ROMs as well, please test and report back.
What it does:
Debloat your system
- Remove LG apps
- Remove Google Apps (which can be downloaded from Play Store)
- Remove boot/shutdown animations/sounds
- Remove all other UI/Camera/Alarm/Notification/Ringtone sounds - see 2nd post if you need to restore these easily
Install KitKat external SD fix or restore to stock
CPU Thermal Throttling (CTT) Mod by @Robshr
Sharpening Mod by @Skin1980 - see 2nd post if it bootloops
Click to collapse
The script currently is in English and German, more localizations welcome.
Disclaimer:
THIS SCRIPT SHOULD BE SAFE TO USE ON STOCK 4.4, 5.0 AND STOCK BASED CUSTOM ROMS AS WELL, INDEPENDENT OF YOUR DEVICE MODEL.
STILL, USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
ONLY REMOVE APPS YOU DO NOT USE.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE LIKE BOOTLOOPS/BRICKS/HAVING TO FLASH STOCK.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CURRENT AND WORKING NANDROID BACKUP.

Changelog:
1.2 (2015.09.16):
- updated Sharpening Mod to v3.5
- updated CTT Settings to latest from 2015.09.06
- if you remove GApps after updating or moving them to userspace, only the system part and all app settings will get deleted
1.0 (2014.12.14):
- Moved boot/shutdown animations and sounds, plus all system sounds to extra section for removal - holy crap, nearly 600kb code for this.
- Merged LG PC Sync + Service into one entry and added the USB Autorun ISO for removal.
0.9 (2014.12.12): please test, need feedback
- Added support for 5.0 stock (based) ROMs
0.8.1 (not officially released):
- Added list of "Extremely Dangerous Sh!t!" apps for testing purposes. Works on 4.4 only and most probably will cause (non-physical) damage to your device
0.8 (2014.12.06):
- Included Sharpening Mod by @Skin1980
- More warnings, less terms
- Beautified icon selection (?)
- Updated update-binary-installer with version from Skin1980's mod
0.71 (2014.12.06):
- fixed reset settings problem
- all google apps can now be safely removed (except search, might lead to setup loop - be careful) (thx @tobitege for Google Search info)
0.7 (2014.12.01):
- added approximate file sizes to Debloat module
0.6 (2014.12.01):
- added CPU Thermal Throttling (CTT) Mod by @Robshr
- removed sleep(300) during debloat from original demo script
0.5 (2014.12.01):
- KitKat SD fix added
- Reduced size
0.4 (2014.12.01):
- Code cleanup
0.3 (2014.12.01):
- Actually deletes stuff now
- Testing debloating, re-categorizing apps, enhancing notes
0.2 (2014.11.30):
- Added localizations
0.1 (2014.11.29):
- Initial skeleton release
- Figure out aroma and edify

Known (possible) side-effects:
- After removing everything the debloater offers at once, the phone sometimes would not find the mobile network. Turning off and on again Wifi and Data helped
- Sometimes all settings (new profile) or just language get lost. Restore nandroid and try again.
- It is heavily recommended to setup an alternative keyboard and home screen before removing LG Home and LG Keyboard.
- Removing LGInstallService causes "App Updates" to download LG apps, but not install them.
- Removing Update Center causes Settings->About Phone->Update Center to FC, and you have no (direct) way to open App Updates (LG app updater) or Software Update (OTA updates). Removing Update Center, App Updates and Software Update causes Update Center to not even appear and not cause any issues.
- Removing Google Search is said to lead to a bootloop if you factory reset your device (see this thread) - I don't intend on resetting my device, so no idea.

- Create a nandroid backup
- Download the attached .zip and copy it to the root of your external SD card (/storage/external_SD)
- Reboot into recovery
- Install downloaded zip
- Select options
- If debloating, make sure you select the correct OS version. I will not assist if you debloat a 4.4 ROM in 5.0 mode or vice versa.
- If you debloated, wiping dalvik/cache might be a good idea
- Reboot

Help requests:
- If you find any bugs or issues, please post here with a detailed description.
- more info on quite a few apps
- As I moved all my Google apps to userspace, please test and report back if removing GApps works (they can be reinstalled to userspace from market)
- Localizations besides DE and EN
- If you know more mods that I should ask the author for permission to include, please link them in here. No build.prop mods.

In Case the Sharpening Mod does not work for you ("dirty" boot partition, code security verification error or something like that)
Restore the nandroid Boot backup you did create... didn't you?
If you are using a ROM currently:
- Extract "boot.img" from your ROM zip (should work).
If you are using a custom kernel:
- Extract "boot.img" from the kernel zip (should work).
If you are using stock:
- Download your correct version stock firmware image (KDZ). Extract it using "WindowsLGFirmwareExtract", then extract "boot_xxxxxx.bin" from the resulting .DZ file. Rename it to boot.img. (Guaranteed to work)
For Mac/Linux, there are Python scripts linked around the G3 forums, searching "extract KDZ" or visiting the G3 Index Thread in G3 -> General should help.
Sorry I cannot provide more information for these systems. All commands below should be the same except "adb push /path/to/boot.img /sdcard/boot.img".
Here's a stock 10L kernel for D855 . Extract the zip and rename the .bin file to boot.img.
Connect your phone to pc, open a command prompt, and type everything that is not in ():
Code:
adb push c:\path\to\boot.img /sdcard/boot.img
(copy boot image to internal memory)
adb shell
su
(start a ADB shell and get root permissions)
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot
(overwrite current boot partition with all zeros - WILL throw an error, don't worry.)
dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot
(overwrite now empty boot partition with kernel image)
exit
exit
adb reboot
(reboot the device)
This completely wipes your boot partition with 0000's, then fills it up with the kernel image you used before.
Now the Sharpening Mod will work.
If you copy the boot.img to the SD manually, you can execute all commands starting from 'su' up to the second exit in a terminal app on the phone itself as well.
Make sure you don't make any typos, and reboot afterwards!

Safe to remove but have a replacement installed (and better set that to default before debloating).
Also, if doing a Factory Reset, this can lead to Setup Wizard loops. I can not confirm if integrating
alternatives into the system before wiping solves this.:

Not yet. What exactly did you select?
I installed/ran/removed everything on my device except the unsafe apps without issues.
Cam you provide some sort of log?
E.g. the one created by the recovery after running

Unfortunately there currently is no way for me to find out what went wrong on your device.
Hoping for a few more people to test the mod and report back if they encounter the same.
After the installer did its job (Mounting partitions, removing stuff, unmounting partitions), you are offered a "save log" button on the bottom left.
Is there a chance you'd be willing to try once more and then attach the log?
This might help with analysis.

Great work. Is lghome and keyboard also safe to uninstall in case of a factory reset. On the G2 with my debloater removing those together or individually caused a "setup loop".
Going to flag this on the Vs985.

Hi,
no they are NOT factory reset safe.
I will add a note to the "Safe with Alternative" section of the "readme" before the actual module selection, thank you.
Either you can integrate an alternative launcher and keyboard into the ROM (should work, never tried this before), or create a flashable zip just with these two. If you need to factory reset again, just flash the zip (copying home and keyboard to the correct /system/(priv-app)/ folder) and after the initial setup remove them again.
Edit: Oh nearly forgot, another thread (linked to in the OP) states that moving Google Search to userspace (or deleting it) and then factory resetting the device would lead to some loop (dunno if Boot, Setup or whatever) as well. That is why it's in the "Potentially dangerous" section until I had time (and interest to restore an old backup...) to actually test.

As I said, I moved the app to userspace, so my Titanium says "APK path: /data/appcom.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1.apk" - no Velvet to be seen.
I saw Velvet.apk in the unpacked system image, but could not find out what it is/does.
Will add it to the script right away
Not sure if one should remove it though, might be needed by the LG initial setup wizard, could be that the wizard loops without Google.
Hello everyone,
I share with the forum, after many hours of trial and error, the port of Nemoid ROM (original for the Galaxy V), based on Stock ROM and fully functional for Galaxy Young 2.
Being based on Stock ROM, it has not any bugs and works swimmingly for everything I could try.
NOTE: The ROM is tested in GALAXY SM-G130HN not Dual SIM, I do not know if it works on other models, although I suppose. Tests on devices other than single SIM 130HN RUN FOR YOUR ACCOUNT.
Do not ask if it's for this or that model, I do not know it and I can not prove it, but I imagine so, because the ROM only modifies the “/system” directory, containing only applications, libraries and media, do not touch anything about Modem, RIL, etc.
NOTE: The ROM includes the rooted kernel for the 130HN. If your model is different, it is not advisable to flash it. Edit the ROM ZIP and remove the file "boot.img" of it.
THANKS:
- DEVELOPER ROM: cleverior, you can see the original ROM post on these links for ROM and her blog:

- AROMA INSTALLER: amaralluz
ROM SCREENSHOTS:
You can see them all in the links for the original ROM and blog creator
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ORIGINAL ROM:
You can see them all in the links for the original ROM and blog creator
FEATURES ADDED TO THE ORIGINAL ROM:
- Advanced Reset Menu
- Settings for blocking unwanted calls and messages
- Xposed and Xperia Navbar to customize the navigation bar
- Changed the theme of the checkboxes
- Added many more ringtones and notifications
- Included “Volume +” as sound manager, configurable through the audio menu, if you choose it instead of MusicFX (in original ROM)
- Added font selection in the menu for customizing the ROM
- Added Backgrounds application in the ROM customization menu, to choose from more than 10,000 wallpapers for the desktop
- Background gradient, plus the original Contextual background, for the header in the notification panel in the ROM customization menu
- Included Nova Launcher apart of the original one, to choose on both at the first start
- Samsung keyboard included, apart of the original one in ROM (Google keyboard)
- Changed the wallpaper, as the colors of the original one hidden taskbar icons
CHARACTERISTICS ELIMINATED FROM THE ORIGINAL ROM:
- Removed the Messenger application, gives continued FC
- Removed Google Camera and Gallery by Stock ones, they gave FC
BUGS:
- In the first start, when configuring the phone, you may receive some SysteUI failure, do not worry about, accept and the mistake will not repeat again
- Being based on Stock, I have not detected any more bugs. If you detect any one, post it in order to fix.
INSTALLATION:
ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP OF YOUR INSTALLED ROM , I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS THAT MAY BE OCUUR
- It is not a priority to be ROOT if you are flashing the kernel included (it is rooted), but it is necessary to have installed a custom recovery to install the ROM, preferably TWRP to avoid installation problems.
TWRP for Galaxy 130HN
- Preferably to have installed any version of Stock ROM, to avoid problems with the modem, CSC, RIL, etc.
- Copy ROM zip to external SD
- Restart in the custom recovery installed (again, preferably TWRP). To access the recovery, the typical combo key “Volume UP + Home + Start”
- Choose the zip in the installation menu to start the installation
- The ROM is installed with Aroma, follow the steps of Installer:
- Recommended to select to back up the EFS partition, just in case of any problem
- Select “Safe Format” to remove your original data from ROM
- You can choose between two types of off-screen animation, "Horizontal or Vertical CRT" (the CyanogenMod style). Both options also include the "Fade" animation
- Continue the process until you finish the installation.
- At the end of this, do not restart the system
- Back in recovery, clean the Cache and Dalvik
- Reboot and enjoy
NOTES AFTER INSTALLATION:
- SCREEN OFF ANIMATION
In Build.prop, CRT animation is enabled by default (either that you have chosen vertical or horizontal)
If you want to change it to fade or turn it off, you must edit the build.prop with the browser included in the ROM and change the following lines:
persist.sys.screen_off = fade (if you want to Fade)
persist.sys.screen_off = off (if you do not want any animation)
- NAVIGATION BAR
It is disabled by default, if you prefer to use MiPop instead of the traditional bar (you can not activate both at once). If you are not going to use MiPop and want to use the navigation bar, edit the build.prop and edit the line:
qemu.hw.mainkeys = 0 (to activate the navigation bar)
If you want to customize the navbar, in the settings menu you will have to activate the Xperia Navbar and Xposed module (you will be asked to restart).
In the customization menu of the ROM, there is the access to Xperia Navbar, to customize it as you like ( "Navigation Bar")

My sim is not working on SM-g130HN model. Any idea why? I tried other custom roms and it is the same.
I do not know why, but it sounds laike a problem with your unit. Have you choosed the single SIM build.prop in the installation? I have installed a lot of custom roms in my phone without any problem with my phone.
Does the SIM work with stock roms?, Is your unit unlocked or locked to a propietary carrier?

It worked on stock rom. How to choose single sim build.prop? Seemed to miss this during the instalation.
The installtion is trough Aroma Installe, so I do not know how you jumped that step. In the screen where you have to choose to exit the installation or going on with it, if you choose to go on, the next screen let you to choose between to install single SIM build.prop or dual SIM build.prop, that is the place where you can choose it.
After installing, do not reboot, just clear Dalvik and Cache. Give us your feed back

Unfortunately, it does not work. I have picked the single sim option, and i get the "no sim insert sim card" notification. Since I have tried several roms already, it's safe to assume it is the phone's issue. Thanks anyway.

Yet again, all thanks go to @jrkruse for this one. I have modified his zip to work on the Verizon S7 flat. The ROM is silky smooth since it uses the factory kernel. The instructions have been tweaked to work for the Flat. I can confirm that SafetyNet passes using this method.
A MASSIVE thanks goes to @hunteditor for this. I haven't been around XDA much these past few weeks and haven't made a new thread for the U-ROM. It has been long overdue. He took on the annoyance of modifying the instructions and download links to work.

S7 Nougat root kernel
Install Instructions From Any Build:
Warning: This will wipe your device. Some of these instructions are redundant, but they will ensure that everything goes as planned. If you don’t follow them to the T, don’t complain.
1) Unzip G930UUEU4BQD2_G930UOYM4BQD2_VZW.zip. Boot the phone into download mode (volume down, home, and power) then flash all four files (BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC) with ODIN. The phone will reboot into recovery and throw an error. Reboot into download mode and reflash HOME_CSC again. – Thanks @thefirst__noel
2) Don’t bother logging into any accounts, as the phone will get wiped again. Copy the FlashFire.apk, AP_G930UUEU4BQD2_CL10860000_QB13198947_REV02_user_ low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta.tar.md5, and UFirm_Multi_Carrier_Hybrid_NoNaMe_PlayStore_BS_Free_V14_VZWS7FLAT.zip to Internal Storage. – Thanks @appye
3) Make sure secure boot is turned off!!! Shut off the phone and boot into download mode (volume down, home, and power). Flash the S7 Nougat root kernel in the AP slot in Odin.
4) When the phone reboots, unlock developer options and enable USB debugging. Unzip the S7_SU_2_79_Root_Unroot_WO_Tweaks.zip and run root.bat from your PC. May need to right-click and run as administrator.
5) Now install FlashFire. In FlashFire, select add Flash Firmware Package and choose AP_G930UUEU4BQD2_CL10860000_QB13198947_REV02_user_ low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta.tar.md5 and make sure all partitions are checked.
Then add Flash Zip or OTA and choose UFirm_Multi_Carrier_Hybrid_NoNaMe_PlayStore_BS_Fre e_V14_VZWS7FLAT.zip and tap mount system when FlashFire asks.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: MAKE SURE TO UNCHECK INJECT ROOT AFTER ADDING THE ZIP! – Thanks @dclutter1
Click Add Wipe and choose Wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache and choose Format Cache Also select wipe SuperSU image. Make sure wipe is at end of flash sequence. The sequence should be AP file first then Zip second and Wipe cache last.
6) The phone will restart and FlashFire will flash the firmware first, then the Aroma Installer will start.
7) In Aroma, select wipe ALL data (DO NOT KEEP SU) – See notes below.
8) The phone will say custom status on first boot, but it goes away after setup and reboot.
The phone may take up to 20 minutes to boot the first time, so be patient.
If you reflash the ROM, you must flash the AP file in FlashFire at the same time.
Notes:
* Do not use Package Disabler Pro if you choose NoNaMe mods in Aroma.
* If you are installing the S8 apps, you may run into force closes. Your best bet is to pull down on the notification panel, click the settings button, and go into applications and clear data for everything that is force closing. If you keep data, you may run into issues with Advanced Calling and other features. Keep data at your own risk. If you don’t wipe data, then please don’t post issues in the thread.
* I was able to keep my settings and data by choosing keep data in Aroma and still passed SafetyNet. I can’t guarantee that this will work for everyone, but you can try if you want. This probably will not work if you are coming from MM. If you decide to take this route and have issues, do a full wipe and reinstall before posting any problems.
* If you get constant application errors saying "IMS service has stopped" and "com.sec.epdg has stopped", boot into recovery using the Power+VolUp+Home combination. You will likely get a "No command" error screen. Let it on that screen (30-60 seconds) and it will eventually go into the recovery menu. Wipe data and cache in recovery. – thanks paul.miner

Those that want to remove or update ad blocking host file will need to follow jrkruse post, with one modification:

I also modified the updater_script so that the BS Free section of the script will remove more of Google Apps, such as Photos, Hangout, but I kept the Camera plugins and the Gallery's photo editor and video playback, etc. I also sorted that section of the script by alphabetical, it was a pain to see what the script removes and keep when everything is out of order when going through the list. If anyone's interested of that updater_script, let me know.

I added this to the second post. Thanks!
As for the updater_script, I planned to redo it to fix the gallery and video issues on the next version. I didn't want to upload an update with these fixes, then release one right after when the latest ROM is available with the new firmware, because that usually ends up being the case lol. I'd definitely be interested in looking at your script.
I feel like I'm going crazy here, any help would be appreciated. I downloaded everything and flashed all four files (BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC) with ODIN. The phone reboots into recovery and throws an error. I reboot into download mode and reflash HOME_CSC again. Then, it just gets stuck on the SAMSUNG screen. I've tried reflashing multiple times, and even let the phone sit for over an hour in case it was just taking a long time to boot. But I can't ever get it past the SAMSUNG screen. Any ideas?
@CVertigo1
I was able to install this ROM.
I noticed a very weird thing. In the attached screenshot, there is a small white tab at top of the screen in scroll area.
Why does it exist ? Can we hide it ?

Thanks a lot. I was able to hide it.
Another weird thing is, in the ROM control app, the button size is enlarged. Not sure why (attached).
I was using other ROM of yours earlier and in it the size was correct. Any thoughts?
Also, a word of caution during installation-
When I flashed everything from ODIN first and booted, the phone downloaded an update(OTA)
I accidentally said Update. It went ahead and installed it.
Booted back fine, was able to root, flashfire, aroma. After aroma however, it got stuck in boot animation. Rebooted it, got stuck and would not go ahead.
Needed to factory reset from recovery and start over.
Some of the cursors are a little awkward with the modded systemUI. You'll notice it everywhere, especially Google.

One more doubt-
How can we control settings of open source ad blocking ?
I think it is blocking 'Here Maps' App and I'd like to exclude this from blocking.
Thanks.

Is there a plan to fix this ?
Is this more visible if we choose Google Play ROM version as opposed to debloat/verizon rom ?
I was using Verizon_TMO_Hybrid_Nougat_Rom and in this I think this cursor/gui awkwardness did not exist.
Thanks

I use Adguard, so I don't use the ad blocking in the ROM. I don't know how to help on that. Did you see post #2 about ad blocking? If I remember correctly, you can edit the file and use adb to push it, but I'm not certain.

That is really up to jrkruse if he fixes it in a later update. Switching ROM versions won't fix it. If it's a huge bother to you, then re-flash the ROM and don't choose the modded systemUI.
I am currently running Stang5litre Edition 5.0 s7 v3 MM ROM on an AT&T S7 Flat and I believe the ROM is based on the S7 Edge . I am trying to flash this ROM using the OP instructions and keep getting this error in Odin on Step 1. The phone never reboots, it just stays in recovery. Any suggestions?

Its cause this ROM is nougat based and for a strange reason you can't flash nougat roms directly on top of MM ones. The usual fix is to flash the stock firmware for your phone, try to get the OTA update for nougat, then follow the steps. Also just giving a fair warning you can't downgrade back down to MM after the nougat update so you wont be able to go back to Stang5litre until he updates that to nougat.

Hey I have a bit of a bug report. Was messing around with the settings in NNRomControl and finally got things the way I like it. I went to go restart the phone and when it booted back up System UI either Stopped or Crashed and didn't restart itself. Did a little testing and found that it was the System UI Tuner Mod. After enabling any of the settings and restarting the phone System UI would immediately crash on startup.

-- How to install --
Method I
Flash via TWRP recovery
- Copy the zip file somewhere to your device (internal/external storage)
- Boot into TWRP
- *optionally, but definitely recommended* Factory reset **A dirty flash may work, since this ROM is stock based, but there is no guarantee for that
- Flash the zip
- Reboot
Method II
Flash via SPFlashtool
(NOT RECOMMENDED, BECAUSE YOU WILL MISS SOME MAGISK FEATURES, WHICH YOU HAVE TO RE-INSTALL MANUALLY)
- Extract the zip file
- Open SPFlashtool
- Load the scatter file from the extracted zip folder
- Turn off your phone
- Connect ONLY your usb cable to your pc
- Click "Download"
- Connect your device to the cable
- Let the process finish
- Disconnect your device
- Turn on your device

try this:
1. clear data of all google and microg related apps (incl. the three backends)
2. in microg settings enable google device registration and setup the nlp backends
3. start playstore and log in to your google account (now the RH-01 error shows up, right?)
4. reboot
play store and all other google account related things should work now..

yes, usually i use twrp. but i also flashed with flashtool..
i also installed it coming from the 250917-version.

perhaps something country related or microg related..
can you upload your logcat? are you familiar with that?

But I still solve the low volume of calls. Even though I have a full volume. How do you solve this problem?

hmm ok, then i don't know..
but there is a magisk module which fixes (or tries to fix) the low incall volume.
in the download section of magisk manager search for "Android Mic Fix".
it is actually targeting qualcomm hardware, but it might work for mtk too, so give it a try..
regarding your ikariam problem: enable google cloud messaging (gcm) in microg settings, then clear data of ikariam and restart the app.. should work now..

You have to install magisk again from magisk manager to use modules
Magisk consists of two parts:
1. Patched boot image
2. Some files in data Partition
Unfortunately I am not able to create a proper userdata image at the moment (I'm working on it)
Therefore the magisk files in data Partition are missing, when you flash the ROM.
Follow these steps:
1. Open magisk manager
2. Go to magisk settings
3. Choose update channel "beta"
4. Go back to magisk main screen
5. Click "install" -> "install" -> "direct install (recommended)"
6. Let installation finish
7. Reboot
Now you are able to use magisk modules.
You have to repeat these steps after every data wipe or factory reset to use modules.
BTW: have you activated Besloudness in sound settings?
And have you tried ikariam again? Is it working now?
Cheers

It is way better than on stock rom. There are a few build.prop tweaks which aim at battery life.
But the main factor is the microg replacement. I would guess, it saves at least 1/3 of battery life..
just give it a try!
btw: today I will post an update with some small, but important changes. so look out!
For a better battery life, it's a useful Java app for Uninstall/Reinstall, Deactivate/Activate apps and services for every Miui Rom, tested on Miui 12.
Without root works only Debug Usb via Developer options and Fastboot.
For Mac, Linux and Windows
Modules:
App Manager - Uninstall/reinstall/disable/enable system apps and services on demand
Camera2 - Enable Camera2 and EIS (TWRP required)
File Explorer - Transfer files between a device and a computer using ADB
Screen density - Tweak screen density by overriding the DPI value
Screen resolution - Tweak screen resolution by overriding the width and height values
Device properties - Retrieve tons of statistics and information about your device
Flasher - Flash any partition with an image, boot to any image or flash a Fastboot ROM (unlocked bootloader required)
Wiper - Wipe the cache or perform a factory reset
OEM Unlocker & Locker - Lock or unlock the bootloader (Unlocking is only supported by Android One devices)
ROM Downloader - Get links to the latest MIUI Fastboot ROMs or download them right away
Rebooter - Advanced rebooting options using ADB/Fastboot

Go to menu app manager and add apps, then you can load a file or just add the name of the package in the list. Save and your apps will appear in list

use adb, you can delete all apps without root.
1. adb shell
2. pm list packages
3. pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package>
just a question, there is any difference using disable instead of uninstall??
thanks
yes, deactivate, the application remains installed in but not functional, no activity in RAM.
Quick question guys! I have successfully uninstalled or disabled most of the apps that were annoying me in my Mi 10T. I also tried adding the default Camera app to the ones I wanted to uninstall through the "App Manager -> Add Apps" menu and it returned a warning that I might end up bricking my device. I didn't go through with it and would like to know if someone has done it without facing any problems. Should I go on with it?? I am used to using Gcam and it bumps me that I get to have a set of unwanted apps (Camera - Gallery)!!
great tool.
i just want to a add a few comments:
1. i would add a select all - deselect all in the different categories. uninstaller for example.
2. in the uninstaller you're missing quite a few apps - contacts, phone, gallery, themes,(all of xiaomi ) google news and maybe also sim toolkit and security (dunno if security is essential).
3. debloating poco launcher without ensuring you have an alternative can be a bit of a problem, so maybe a hint.
thanks for all!
