get a custom rom, put it on your sd card. let it boot to recovery.
wipe date factory reset, and wipe cache and delvik cache, wipe system.
flashe the custom rom zip you put on the sd card
reboot, profitt
so you dont have probems, AFTER FLASHING ROM AND SETTING UP, GO BACK TO recovery and make a back up

reset my phone just reboots into recovery no matter what i do this is some of what Ive tried
1. flashing a new recovery but just get waiting on device
2. flashing a new ROM just reboots into recovery
3. Flashing all kinds of backup and just restarts into recovery
4. RomTools
5. And everything else i can think of
and i also cant figure any way to get into fastboot , So has anyone seen or figured out how to fix this semi or full brick ?
And i also have an idea so if anyone has the stock kernel could you please post it .
i have figured out how to go back to stock and have a guide made at prepaidandroid, net
I was wondering if you truly figured it out..

installing a rom or factory reset doesn't work

the problem started when the phone started rebooting itself every minute and effectively going into reboot loop , I tried the following
1-factory reset , the reset is done but after the restart it is like nothing has been done , the same apps the same data are there and of course the problem is still there
2-Wiped dalvik cache, wiped cache and factory reset from cwm recovery , the same problem, like I have done nothing ,, the rom is still there with all the apps and data , still reboots itself.
3-Installed a stock rom and a modded rom using BOTH Odin and CWM still this freakin device is freezed on the old rom and wont change anything,
can anyone suggest a solution ?
Thanks a lot

Sadly, it sounds like the end of the line for your tab bud. Keep trying but I'd start looking for something new. Good luck.

yes!
i cant factory reset, the device told me wipe cache, formatting data, formatting cache - nothing happens.. no android logo, no loadingtask - then it drops me back to android recovery.
i unlocked and flashed to Android M 6.0.0 and the loading animation changed to the new one. I let him boot with 100% batterylife to zero life in the morning and nothing happend.
then i install TWRP recovery to wipe my phone - message "e: unable to mount /persisit" but he shows me a successful wipe msg after the process. I flashed Andorid M 6.0.0 again but it same problem.
I try it with the *.bat and a clean flash nothing works.
please help me!

This is the moment i knew i fked up

okay so today i've decided to factory reset, cuz i had a lot of **** in my phone and i thought a factory reset would help me get a rid of it.
But after I did the factory reset, my phone just wasnt booting the normal os, so i thought i install TWRP and just install a new custom os which would be pretty cool
After that I put my new custom os in my sd card and pressed install, but it didnt work.
I just have no clue why and just when the xda producer thing comes up it crashed and rebooted.
Now im stuck with TWRP and my android loading screen please help
And btw I rooted my phone before i did the factory reset and now there's like a set warranty bit : kernel all the time left up in my screen in yellow. i have a s5 sm-GM00F
So what can i do. I just need my phone would you please help :crying:
Hi !
Your problem might be related to the fact that you have flashed a different rom for your device variant , as you can see here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5 there are so many , different carriers and also different CPUs
Search there for a thread from where can get help to flash the stock firmware for your EXACT device variant.
Good luck !

Creating Backup on XT1033 stuck on Bootloop

Hi everyone,
I hope I am in the right forum to post my query. I am trying to find a solution to the existing Problem. Before I get to describe the problem specifically I must make it clear that this is my first time on any android forum. While trying to find a solution for the existing problem, I had to google words like Bootloop, Softbrick, TWRP, Custom Recovery, Root, Flash, ROM etc. They still do not make much sense to me (I will be reading more about them in the coming days). So now you can imagine how big of a Noob I am.
Well, I own a Moto G 1st Gen XT1033. Since yesterday it is in a Bootloop. The phone boots completely at times but automatically restarts itself after a while. Sometimes I have 1-2 minutes at maximum to use the phone. Until now I have been able to delete quite a bit of data for example pictures and certain apps because I thought that Bootloop was happening because of no space on the memory. The last app that I installed 3 days back from Google Play after which this problem started occurring, I was also able to uninstall it. Until now I have tried wiping out Cache by going in the recovery mode but that didnt fix the Reboot problem. I also tried holding the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button for 2 minutes (I read it on internet somewhere as a fix to the problem) but that didnt help either. I have never created a backup and I don't want to do a Factory Reset as a fix to the problem because I don't want to lose the data. I also tried to follow your solution for backing up data but I got lost. I don't know where to start from. Thats why I am writing here.
I don't know if my phone is rooted. I did turn on Developer Mode on my phone in the past (if this info helps).
I do not know which Android version I have but I am guessing that it is Lollipop.
I never installed TWRP or any Custom Recovery software on my phone before.
The battery is working ok.
What I am looking for is:
1) Step by step guide to create a backup
2) Resolving Bootloop issue if possible
Thanks
without custom recovery no data backup is possible.
u need to unlock your bootloader and install The Twrp recovery to perform the backup.
but only fix for you is factory reset.

Thank you @jbanti Apologize for my late response. As far as I know unlocking the bootloader will erase the memory. One can recover data by ADB Pull by using these Threads:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/moto-g-1st-gen-xt1033-boot-loop-stock-t3357472 (Post #4)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426426
So I know that there it is possible using`adb pull` command to take backup of whole device but I don't know how. I get lost in the 2nd thread. Any lead would be appreciated
Thanks
