You already have this update. It's just a different build number. This is the June security update for Amazon prime phones.

Hey all - I'm rooted and unlocked and for the past two weeks or so my phone has been bugging me to upgrade about every hour or so. I'm on NPJ25.93-14-4 and the new version it wants me to install is NPJ25.93-14.5. Am I OK to take the OTA update? Or should I do it a different way since I'm rooted and unlocked?

You can't make this ota update since you have a non stock recovery. You need to revert back to stock recovery else the device goes into bootloop. What's your device version XT....?

Gotcha - I wondered as much. Mine is an XT1644 - is there a way for me to get the update so the dumb thing will quit asking me to upgrade? Maybe the June update thread?

Yup, you'll have to reflash/boot TWRP, then flash ElementalX 1.04, then flash SuperSU/magisk/your root manager of choice to get your root access back. You may wish to take a TWRP backup before you flash ElementalX/root to have a backup to fall back to.

If our pc windows gets corrupt we don't blame Bill Gates directly..
If you are facing any issue or flashed it over other variant, its your fault. Don't imply it over others.
Updates are working fine for many users.
Talk about the issue, not about the credibility.
Till now this is the only thread for Nokia 6 which is legit.. that's why i am supporting it.

Yes you are right mate I have done already and bricked my phone and now it is unbricked by the MENA region firmware but now its not getting valid system update or certification ..... And why he still share this update???

Yes try at your own risk!!!! But it's for the valid update not this kind of fake update!!!

Dear all and Anna I finally found the solution and reason because of what I didn't received the December security as well Oreo beta. And now instantly I received December OTA as well Oreo OTA back to back!! I received 2 November update with security patch which was the reason I didn't received December OTA . I installed December security patch from XDA which didn't helped to receive Oreo OTA. Than the final solution was.. I downloaded official firmware with June security patch from XDA. Than manually updated till October security patch.and finally I installed only 122mb November patch file from nokiatips website.and after installing that I check for OTA in WiFi connection instantly received December security patch.and after that Oreo OTA..wow. Previously automatically through OTA I received a 149mb OTA update which cause me not receiving the December security patch I think .. So guys if if need the files just PM me I will upload those in Google drive or it preferred website. Thanks I am finally happy.. 2days or trying and more than 20times update apply from recovery last 2days

Firstly these updates are working fine with MENA firmaware,
Secondly i did flashed it and right now using oreo beta only by flashing these updates, i bricked my phone a few days ago and these update helped me to come back to the September update patch and rest with other thread...

Ok, I bit the bullet and went ahead with the manual update provided in the OP.
They are indeed files for TA-1201, everything works as it should. I used July, August, October, and November zip files successively without any problem.
Didn't try the Dec and Oreo update zip since the OTA finally offering download after the manual Nov patch.

Worked on ta 1025
Thank you vary much. I was stuck on June update, couldn't find any working updates but this helped. I installed all updates, one by one on my TA 1025 (00ww3_320.. build) and all of them worked! Now it updates by itself.

It finds the 2017-7 Update security patch. then tries to download it but can't and says "can't download". As Isayd I tried both mobile data and WIFI. both with and without a VPN.
I am from Iran. So asked the nokia support team if I have any limitation because of sunctions. And they said there is no any limitation for me.

Don't use ADB Sideload, put it in a SD card and update it from there by going to "Recovery Mode > update from sd card".
Update only if you already have the September 2017 update installed. This is not guaranteed to run on older updates. Also, this is only tested for Southeast Asian region. probably it might work on other regions but don't take my word on it.
DISCLAIMER : I'm not responsible in case you brick your phone by doing this procedure. This device doesn't have so much support from here yet so tread the waters carefully.

Intercepted checkin request with mitmproxy, modified carrier MCC/MNC in the request's body, and replayed forged request. Better to use big European carriers like O2.

Updates are not cumulative. You have to install one by one. 00WW_3_72A should be installed on top of 00WW_3_700_SP01 released in the beginning of Nov. What's your Nokia 6 model?

Btw you can fix the phone yourself, just follow instructions in https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-6/development/nokia-6-official-firmware-mena-region-t3664441. This topic contains links to OST tool and firmware images. Reflashing your phone will roll it back to Android 7.1.1 and June patch, after that you can download and install OTA updates one by one.

Sorry I've already updated my phone. Next time I'll get ddl for the both models. You can install TA-1021 update on TA-1025 and vice verse, they are compatible. I installed the latest TA-1021 on my TA-1025 because did not want to wait until it's approved for TA-1025.

Nokia 3 Android 8.1 OTA Update TA-1020
Here is the Stock Android 8.1 OTA for the TA-1020.
This is a "Block Update" and Not a Patch ROM This means the /system is wiped and a complete new /system is installed with zero "patching" the LK, logo, boot and recovery are all updated among some other partitions
It does not wipe userdata but it will encrypt your userdata it if it's not already encrypted.

According to target build version, you can go with it but i still prefer to go with full up to date security patch updates
Update your device till February and then install, its most secure way to update, else you can give a try

Problemm with Nokia 3 Oreo beta OTA
I tried to upgrade to Android 8.0 via TWPR (Nokia 3 Oreo beta OTA).
The phone will not start any more. The screen is black. From time to time the phone vibrates briefly.*I took off the back cover and turned off the battery.
*I turn on, connect to the computer (in the hope of returning the phone to life using OST), but OST does not recognize the phone -it turns on and off again, and so on in a circle. The computer gives a signal to connect the USB device and to disconnect it. Is it still possible to return the bodies to life? What can be done? Thank you

I tried, but the program does not recognize or can not recognize the phone. It constantly turns on and off. Black screen. Vibrates approximately every 25 seconds.

Realme 1 OTA - Release Update

Our beloved Realme 1 came with ColorOS 5.0 out of the box.
It received few bug fix updates, but the question remains, what about the major OS upgrade.
Here is the answers (as per the Realme one Support personnel):
Next Major OS update will come somewhere in the month of October 2018, where Realme will update the version directly to ColorOS 5.2 :good:
The android P is pushed to next year, so no Pie in 2018. When will it be released in the next year? that is still unknown as of now.
I will update this thread as soon as I get any more confirmations.

As per their CEO it should be released in October itself, but it looks tight, so don't set high hopes.

September patch sucks
Seems like September patch has compromised both front camera and battery life.The depth of field effect has been worsened and the focussing has also been giving some problems.In overall can't get pictures as clear as before.Regarding the battery I am not pretty sure but seems like the life has decreased slightly.Haven't found any other issues till now. It would have been way better if they had an official forum to discuss about the device.

I am not sure I guess you can do it in developer option->oem unlock.

Ok so 5.2 update release has been shifted to November end.
May be Dec starting. Let's hope it's worth a wait.

Just updated my realme 1 and before update it was showing that this update is for coloros but even after update its coloros 5.0

It's not a 5.2 update. Is just a pre-update for 5.2 update which will be released in November end, or may be Dec starting if delayed.
