[Q] Hey Guys Core 2 Coming in This week.can we port its stock on our Core

Hey guys :fingers-crossed:
I checked out on Web and the stock firmware is already available for porting...
I there any way we can port that 4.4.2 on our core?
as i Saw in the specification everything seems same between the two
Please devs throw your ideas on this topic

Samykat rom is android 4.1.2 (it is a modified stock rom).

real 4.4.2 is not yet ported to Galaxy Core.. you can ask anyone
Samykat is just modified stock rom.

Start porting 4.4.2 from Galaxy Core 2 to Galaxy Core [I8260]

As I see, Novafusion is busy in S3 mini. I understand they, but i can't wait more. I think I will try to port KitKat from Core 2 to Core I8260. If the port works, i will share here.

I know something about porting, i ported cm11 to core I8260, but it had too many bugs to upload it. I'm feeling lucky xD

emm, this is not related to root, and this is not for your phone, so please go to your forum, you will find help there.

of course not because its almost impossible to port stock roms with different android versions
4.1.2 to 4.4 they are just wasting their time

dude i know 1 trick but u have to be on CWM i dont know its compatible with stock or not...
here u go.
download from here download supersu.zip and flash in recovery mode (maybe stock will not work )
if dont work then
wait for cwm and flash zip via CWM tht will 100 % work

Next week i will have my core again and i will start the port

Welcome to the first official appearance port Testing Nougat ROM
It works only for Note 4 N910C​

*Compiled from T810XXU2DQCL sources + MM ramdisk (SM-N910C)
*SELinux permissive

Based on Tab S2 T810XXU2DQCL firmware
All Nougat ROM features from Tab S2

Currently Unknown
Before installing this ROM
1- EFS backup
2-Backup of serial and IMEI (cert backup)
3- install Official Android 6.0.1
Download ROM
remove link (put after fix kernel)
Download Kernel
remove kernel required to edit (ramdisk problem)​
Guide inistallation
1- download rom and kernel copy into internal or external storage
2- reboot to recovery mod
3- full wipe (cache-data-dalvik-system)
4- install rom
5- install kernel
6- reboot system.[/CENTER]

i got bootloop on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 screen. 910H

That was fast, I'm looking forward to see how it looks and works, hopefully someone is going to make a youtube video or something.
And hopefully we will see this out of testing phase soon!
