Hi experts,
Is it possible to retune/tweak existing band frequency and create a new one (Ex: from 1900 Mhz to 2100 Mhz, if the band 2100 Mhz is not available in the list)
I am using a Samsung Note 3 SM-N900P device with Exynos processor.
Thanks in advance

I see that Tmobile supports 1700 MHz/2100 MHz, but if i get a phone that only supports 2100 MHz, will I still get the 3G/3.5G?
I'm confused because on repeated frequency bands like "1700 MHz/2100 MHz, 2100 MHz" showed on phone specs
http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/HTC-Wildfire-S,HTC-Wildfire-S-T-Mobile/phones/5211,5501
note that Internetional Wildfire S supports only 900, 2100 MHz, while T-mobile Wildfire S supports 1700/2100 MHz, 2100 MHz.
Does Tmobile support only 1700/2100 MHz, or does it also support 2100MHz without the 1700MHz?
Hi,
I'm looking in buying a Chinese smartphone.
Some of them only offer 2100 mhz UMTS/WCDMA/3G comptability.
Will this pose a problem for my mobile browsing?
I heard that only 900 mhz 3G is used for some regions...
I sometimes encounter models with 850 mhz WCDMA comptability , is it to be regarded as 900 mhz (as I thought that's the second 3G frequency used in Belgium/EU?)
Hi I currently own the Google S4 and was wondering if it is possible to add band 7 or 2600 Mhz frequency to this phone. I figured it would be the same as adding the AWS band except instead of the AWS file it would be the 2600 Mhz file.
I tried doing a search for this but all I came up with were for enabling the AWS band.
Hey everyone! I'm looking at the specs on the OPO and see:
Connectivity:
GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA 1/2/4/5/8 (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz)
LTE 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 (2100 MHz FDD/1800 MHz FDD/1700 MHz FDD/2600 MHz FDD/700 MHz band 17 FDD/2600 MHz TDD/2300 MHz TDD)
Now as you can see, I highlighted a few parts of that! I went onto live chat with Sprint on their site and yes, they do use WCDMA. But I'm not sure if the LTE bands are the same. In all and all, can it potentially work?
Wikipedia says Sprint operate on the 850/1900/2500 bands.

So therefore it can work?

Do you see those bands in the list you posted above?

From the [REF] 1-stop Thread:
Skyrocket's bands are:
i727(r) freg's:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100
It looks like the Skyrocket doesn't use 1900 on LTE? Is that correct?
The reason I ask is because I'm on T-Mobile, and in my area, I can't get 4G inside some of the coverage map. I am assuming that I don't get Band 2 for T Mobile, which uses 1900 Mhz PCS. However, Tmobile also uses 1900 for 2G and 3G, which the Skyrocket supposedly supports. Am I missing something? Thanks. :good:
Tmobile uses:
LTE Frequencies:
1700 MHz & 2100 MHz AWS band 4
1900 MHz PCS band 2 (in refarmed areas)
Lower 700 MHz band 12 (in development) / in service in selected areas
3G/4G Frequencies (WCDMA):
1700 MHz & 2100 MHz AWS band 4
1900 MHz PCS band 2 (in refarmed areas)
2G Frequencies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE):
1900 MHz PCS band 2
