How do you guys stream movies with AC3 audio to Chromecast or do you just convert?

I am using MI TV 4A Android TV in which MX player 1.12.2 version is not passthrough AC3 or DTS audio over my 5.1 audio device.
I enabled the passthrough whenever applicable option but still the audio is stereo only
Can I get to know how I can achieve original 5.1 surround through MX player?

I'm using the mx player pro on a Sony Xperia 1.
Mkv files with DCA audio codec work fine. Mkv files with trueHD don't play. VLC player is able to play the mkv files with trueHD audio codec on this device.
I use mx player because of the ability to change subtitle position. VLC doesn't have this feature.
Can there anything be done to make mkv files with trueHD audio codec play on MX Player?
