What's new ?
As that of same Android factory Oreo aosp changes in this rom.
Bluetooth,speakers,charging,call,wifi , hotspot.prerooted.all sensors are working without a glitch.
Substratum theme engine not tested.
Are working.
VOLTE connecting but no voice ,camera absolutely not working, sluggish most of the times.
I think it's not your daily driver.

Why is this thread here? OP did not test the ROM. Did not build it. Did not link the development scene (its on G+, you can find it, just Google). XDA is more of a community of developers intended to host discussions about software development than a repository of android development around the world. Such threads would still make sense in the General forum, there's one already for LOS 15, the ROM shared here is already linked over there.
I noticed similar posts by OP earlier too. While sharing is fair, let's not make it misleading.

That ROM is incompatible with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital plus, It's sad to know that because I still can't update to Lineage OS 15

Use Footage camera until it's get fixed.. currently there is a bugs in pre - installed camera

i've just flashed v18 on PA rom, everything is fine except dt2w. i try gesture wake or performance control, but still not work. :crying:

You need enable Dt2w with faux clock or other tweaker
later go to Wake gestures and now it work
It does not work quite right ...
Although I can install the kernel, the camera does not work properly, try as abriral says "can't connect to the camera", everything else works fine ... but I can not help if the kernel does not work very well.

I had to fall back to 17+ because 18+ broke my native hotspot, is native hotspot working in 18+ yet??
Camera?
I love this kernel as its the only one that I know of that still has OC. But everytime I try to open any camera app, even stock, it says that it can't connect to the camera. Why does it do that? Is there something I did wrong?

I had some problems with the camera it shows an error message but it worked fine. I flashed the old camera libs and now camera fc when I open it. What should I do? Are there any "new" libs to flash and fix it? (I am on stock 4.4.4)

old cam libs aren't for stock i guess..did the same to me. reflashing the kernel also didn't help.

I did my own patch with the libs from stock kk rom and it works. i can try to upload it but just flashing the stock rom should fix it

HI! i have updated my cyanogen mod at the ultimate nightly. Reflashed xperience-18 kernel, and every time i open the youtube app, i got an error and the app crash.
Every time i see an video in chrome, chrome beta, the audio is playing and the video is in black screen, still a few seconds and chrome crash.
i've done a fresh reinstall of cyanogen (with all wipes), then open youtube app and videos in chrome/chrome beta and all function ok. Then flash xperience kernel, and the problems come again.
Any ideas? some other people with the same issue?

Device turns on while chargin
I'm on PA + 18v (but tested v16 too) and devices turns on if you connect to charger while it's off.
Already tested with stock kernel from PA and phantom kernel and the problem dissapear.
Atached last_kmg.log (but I don't know if it would be something usefull)

As much as I know we have to enable it in the kernel source. I've already took a look into the one on official Sony Github(because their code is updated more often then Free Xperia ones) and found already a few interesting things that I'll Post the next days.
Maybe if a few of us work together we'll get it to work on our device

Ok, most of the interesting stuff is in drivers/media/platform/msm/camera_v2/sensor (remember to select the correct branch). As much as I know our camera sensor is a s5k5e2 which many devices use as front camera.

on fxpblog theres new version of 5.1 151203 soo it came out 28 days before have you tried flashing it? @edit:
and yes theres clearly a file for our xperia e3 s5k5e2.c and reference added to Kconfig and Makefile soo if someone build marshmallow or lollipop on that new files with addition of making sure he checked enabling that driver there should be everything good
-flashed it- nah... it has that deep sleep bug and no camera working but i think if someone manages to build rom now and consider enabling camera in kernel it should work (if we're not missing anything.)

No. The problem is, noone except sony devs know how to implement the camera.
But things are moving: our overloard Jerpelea is working furiously on Lollipop and Marshmallow for all open devices, hopefully our E3 as well. Unfortunately no camera commits yet. Check out activity here: https://github.com/jerpelea?tab=activity
I totally support this, but since I have no experience with kernels I can be only tester.

Nope still nothing regarding the camera implementation. They're still working on flamingo in general, but nothing related to the camera yet. I guess we'll have to keep coping with Sony's firmware. Let's just wait and see.

Xperia M, which is not an open device, has alpha Android N working with camera.
As far as I know, problem is in kernel. You must enable camera there to make it works, but no one is willing to do it and I have no expirience in that part.

Ok, it was only a theory becouse the camera only works on cm11 and stock, which use old bootloader.
In Jerpelea unified kernel our cameras' code is written.
But a dependency from driver is not enabled in flamingo's config, can it be the problem? I am trying to change that and recompile kernel to see if finally it works :laugh:.

That's freaking AWESOME and problem I found that is battery is daring fast and the keyboard. ,and there is kinda many option missing and I really wanna say about the keyboard :good: I am really greatfulll and really looking forward for updates and the navigation bars vibration and navigation bar style if u could change that it will be kinda awesome and last the file manager and gallery sucks. For the gallery can u add piktures app and file manager need improvement and:fingers-crossed: and another problem I encounterd is that when I download something and switch off the screen I get stopped and I have to frequently switch on the screen whether it is still downloading that's a major issue

Try to calibrate your battery(already mentioned in the description) it will be give u better battery.
Search on google to change nav bat or you can install xposed and the use the module xstana to change your navbar.
Don't play any video in gallery that stuck your device. Try mx player
Go to settings-sound-other sound and then turn off touch sound and viberate on tap

Is there any way to install this ROM on a Wiko Fever without losing the baseband?
Try it, just take a backup of your nvram and then if u lose the baseband then restore nvram...... If it works mail me on [email protected] ..:silly:

After installing TWRP do i need to do a factory reset or do i have to backup nvram data. Or any other steps do i have to follow before flashing your ROM.
I didn't want to back up whole ROM as i don't have that much of space. But I have taken backup of all necessary data on my lapi.
I am on a rooted stock lollipop ROM and have xposed installed.
Eagerly waiting for your reply.

As i saw in the video camera works for that person.
It's Moto camera but I'm not sure which version it is..
I'm not sure if the video recording works because it's still broken in LOS15 as this Rom is based on Los15..

Of the available, AOSP_Extended 5.0 stands out far ahead.
The build is unofficial, as usual.
I am using it from past 1 month, and it works like magic.
Gapps for Oreo got instaled easily.
No bugs whatsoever.
Best part is, it is as fluid as it can ever be.
Never seen a 2gb RAM phone respond so good, gazillion times better than those so common 4gb MI's.
Battery life in battery saver mode improved, camera app is non-responsive, so suggest to flash any other camera app. I am using CameraMX, and it's working good. Personal choice here.
It's better than buggy version of unofficial build Lineage 15 lux, and others. I haven't tried crDroid though. So, can't say about it.

What is working

REQUIREMENTS
Camera2api Enabled ( if not then google it)
HAVOC OS OFFICIAL 27-12-2018 STABLE PIE BUILD ( VERY IMP BECAUSE SLOMO, MOTION PHOTO, AND "ALL FEATURES EVEN 60FPS VED REC. AND FRONT CAM" WILL WORK )
DON'T WORRY HAVOC OS IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER CUSTOM ROM OUT THERE ( GIVE IT A TRY )
Installation Procedure
Install Gcam from given link. (don't open it)
Go to settings/installed apps/Google Camera/Permissions (Give all persmissions) Enable System Modify Permission.
Now, Open Gcam/settings/save config./"Save a config by any name"
Go to your storage, Gcam/Config/And delete your config and paste the one which i have provided
Open Gcam "DOUBLE TAP BOTTOM BLACK BLANK SPACE" It will open a popup asking you to restore config/Select my config "TheSam.xml"
Fully restart the app (remove from recents)
And Magic has happened and everything is working.

Should work without issues
The links are text type in xda app.
Better if posted in right sub forum. Also mention that devs ID so credit goes where it is due

Hmmm checksums of arnova latest and yours matched. So what changed not giving credit for others work is frowned upon in Xda mate and that config is virtually default
With global version front camera keep crashing

Thank for letting me know it bro, what i did was i installed many different developers versions around 15 and configured to make it stable. and tested each one. Then created a stable config, I will update the thread.

Try the default config. and slomo will crash, front video cam will crash, and also back will not work not sure about other features.

LOL slo MO works only at 120fps and no video cam crash here anyone can do it. It doesn't need development thread mate. Close this thread mate. I can say I tested all 24 devs gcam in that site and have configs for many of them. Does that mean I am a dev now?
I want to clear this guys, This is not a copy or any stolen work. I have given the credits to @Arnova8G2 in the thread and i configured it according to our device after testing it for hrs. If y'all keep replying that it is not working or you are stealing work. I will soon delete this thread i don't want any attention or anything. But atleast respect someone's work. AND FIRST READ REQUIREMENTS PROPERLY. ?
